First thing that comes to my mind would be zombies. I have made a few zombie RPs my self. I ether could not find the people or they died to quickly. If your running zombie RP be ready to throw your character into a random corner as you take control of an NPC. As well in zombie RPs you pretty much have to always be there. Once I was good for a week, came back, 3 post where made when I was gone.

You should consider finding a partner who has just as much as free time. That way if you leave for whatever reason at least you know the PR will still move on. ((Be ready to read threw alot of super mutant profiles... I don't know why the send them.))

You could do something fallout 3-ish. Fallout 3 has a wide range of everything. It could make for a very good RP. the storyline can go anywhere ((But everyone tends to start off with power armor and laser guns))

As well you could try doing a mix of Steam-Punk / Bio-Punk.

Another thing you can try is early Armageddons, End of the world in the early centuries when people can use magic and cross bow are the closest things to guns, or flint lock guns if you don't want to go to far back.

Something more Sci-Fi are not things I'm really all that into. The only thing that comes to my mind is Star Wars + Zombies = Sic-Fi Horror.

Whatever the case is as of know I finally finished an RP. I joined another guild but I don't like the way they do things. So if you need a partner to help set things up or just need someone to join the RP when its done, feel free to say so.

Oh, another thing, no matter what kind of RP you have always have a side to choose from. Whether it be good or evil or whether the difference is in something else. Having different sides gives intensive for the RPers to seek them out, because they know them a** the enemy. ((The only problem is you need some one willing to take control of the NPCs.))

Nice, game of the year edition is pretty good. But with Fallout New Vague coming out, you may just want to wait for it.

I've had the same problem with my PRs. People will randomly leave for no reason. The best way around this is first to have a gripping storyline and second to have a very long profile skeleton. Don't make it to complex, because no one will understand so no one will join. Just make it pretty long. Make you profile skeletons to short and any one passing by can join. That sounds like a good thing but it really is not. If any one can join your more likely to get the unskilled RPers that only post one time, then never post again. Since most people like that tend not to bother filling out something to long your have much hire chances of getting the RPers you want. Ones that will stay with the RP to the end. As well with longer Profile skeletons it allows you to customize your character allowing a person to fell like there RPC is there own. Having a good name helps out to.

IDK... If you want to have a mash of all things maybe you should consider making a Battle RP. I have been in a few battle RP guilds where they let you make your own character any way you want. Then you just join into the story line. Its is better to have a guild dedicated to it rather then a forum. Some people may want to battle others may want to quest. So a war RP would be the next best thing. But battle and war rps tend to have nothing to do with horror. But I have seen them done with an apocalypse story line.

Plus with a mash of every thing there may be some conflicts within the RP. Lets say most of the group goes for more magic / medieval characters. But one guy gives him self Mach and a laser chain gun. As you can see... over powering will be a problem. Same as God Modding... give people ether to much freedom or to much to chose from and they will give you the most God Like character you have ever seen. But, don't worry, you can easily ask someone to change something if you feel they are over powered. As well you can always set limits on some things. But, chances are even with limits there will be a few people who don't bother reading it or try to justify having it. Some may have a good reason, most wont.

For some reason it is really hard to find a good RP with good RPers. The few times I have found both over crowding killed the RP. If you make one, post it in the level 3 area. That is the best place to find loyal RPers or at least good ones. I personally don't go there because I don't like writing so much about nothing. If there is a battle or something then I got an easy two-three paragraphs. But a lot of the time people just have there characters stand around talking about stuff and detailing thinks. I just can stand writing so much just so my character can say something the length of one line. Oh, guess who always ends up throwing his character in a corner because no one wants to take control of the NPCs v.v

Anyway, what do you have so far as an idea for the RP you want?

Sorry about that... Misspelled Vegas... Completely v.v Fallout New Vegas is a whole new game. Click the name to see the trailer. There is a lot of speculation on the storyline in the next game. The best evidence so far is something that one character tell you in Fallout 3. In Fallout 3 you join a group of Brotherhood that wants to protect the people and find technology. He makes a comment that the original Brotherhood ((The ones that only care about technology and preservation of knowledge)) is out west by the coast. So now people believe that you ether trying to get into the advanced city or are from it. As well you will most likely meet the brotherhood of the west. but its all speculation as of now.

In any case I am going to play the hell out of that game.

I've played The Pit, Point lookout and Operation Anchorage are much better in my opinion. A lot of people don't like Anchorage... I don't know why.

Nice storyline

Well for the PA rp, it doesn't have to be zombies. It just need to be a situation that makes it hard for life to go one. Like a sudden famine, disease, shortage of food, stuff like that.

What if, instead of zombies, it's like military personal that are worried more about doing what they need to survive instead of regular people. And there is were you create the tension, you got one force of military forces with lots of training, better equipped, but maybe in fewer numbers than the other survivors

Creepy, just how I like it. To tell you the truth the only way I name cities and places is by logging onto my Spore account. Then I just copy the names of the cities and planets. The random name generator has a very good selection. I named a Zombie RP Spring Showers, yes I know. Not the best name but it got a lot of attention.

one other suggestion (yea I know that first one was in a different thread a longish time ago), if you're going to be thinking about lots of different things with lots of details and depth, it can certainly help to have your own wikipedia
