May 7th to 8pm CST May 22ndIts off-season for Brewfest and our crews from both factions have gathered together to share new brews and new recipes to share with the masses. However, we’re looking for some new menu items and decided to publicly host a cook off! As our prizes we have.. Well, let’s look what we have in the stables… We have this lovely magic rooster mount, and a couple of Wolpertingers that had gotten into our brew stores. As you can see, one of them got a hold of some of Papa Hummel’s Old-fashioned pet biscuits. And one got into an entire bag of the treats. They’re an awful lot to feed all together along with our delivery rams since we have no real use for them all, but separated apart they’d make good pets for people. The rules are simple – Make a food based on the foods of Azeroth (and Outland), quests, dungeons, citizens (NPCs), mobs, bosses, mounts – As long as its part of our world (past or present) or one of the realities attached to it you can make something inspired by it to titillate the taste buds and please the eyes of our drunken guests. You also need to have your username shown somewhere in real life to show the creation. Post only one image at 500x500 pixels or lower and link to the rest/larger versions. Here are a list of recipes you could try and reproduce. however you are in no way limited to that. Be sure to check out Wowwiki.com for further inspiration. Whatever you make, it needs to be WoW inspired, edible, have a written recipe showing what you used as alternatives for ingredients you lacked access to, and the photo should have your user name on it. No Mules(accounts less than 2 months old or with under 1000 posts) allowed.

Another picturrr. Third one. :3 Last one Recipe: 1 egg. Mayonnaise Mustard Parsley Paprika Salt Oregano
Cooking time, process, oven temp, etc: Step one: Boil the eggs and wait till they are finished. Take them out of the water and wipe them off before peeling. Keep a top of the egg for decoration later. Caution: Be careful. Egg may be hot. If so, run under cold water. Step two: Cut the eggs in half. Scoupe out the yolk into a small tupaware. Put the Mayonnaise, Mustard, Parsley, and salt into the mixture. Mix till it is smooth. Then take one of the white part of the eggs and put a table spoon in it. Step three: Put that egg on a baking platter with Pam or some kind of none stick substance and spray some butter water on the egg before putting it in the over. Preheat the over at 250 and keep in for a good fifteen minutes. Step Four: Cut one of the other whites and slices. Put on the plate as you will then retrieve the egg from the oven. It will squish so be careful. Put it with your decorations and there you go!
Bon appetite.

Username: Lita Rutherford Foods Title: Kodo Bites Inspiration: So I saw that recipe "Bat Bites" and figured it would be a nice to-go snack. (I mean come on, who has time to have a fancy sit down dinner when you got loot to nab and things to do, am I right?) But see I realized I sorely lack bat flesh. So I figure, Kodo is pretty easy to find, right? And darn tasty to boot! So there we have it, a quick and tasty high energy snack to keep a big gal goin during even the most exhausting raids! Entry: Tastey Looks good! Proof its edible! Really! Tasted gooood! Recipe:1 Kodo Steak (Don't have Kodo Steak? Use a chicken breast!) 1/2 Cup Pulverized Stale Bread (aka Bread crumbs, fine) 1/2 Tablespoon not so pulverized bread bits (aka Panko Bread crumbs) 2 tablespoons mixed Spices (Ground Cumin, Paprika, Salt, and Pepper. You can vary the exact amounts of each spice to what suits your taste.) Cooking time, process, oven temp, etc:Prep Time: 5 min or less Cook Time: 5 to 10 minutes Step 1 - Mix bread crumbs and spices in a bowl. Step 2 - Cut or tear your meat into bite sized chunks. Try to keep them even in size. Nothing is worse then half of it burnt and the other half not done! Step 3 - Coat meat bits in mixture, pressing it into the meat. If the meat is a bit on the dry side beat an egg, dip the meat into the egg and then coat. Step 4 - Add oil of some sort (veggie works best as does peanut) to the bottom of the pan. It should coat the pan. Heat pan until oil is hot and shimmery. **Step 5 - Add meat to pan. It should sizzle and pop. Cook meat 2 to 3 minutes or until the one side is a dark golden brown. Flip and repeat on the other side. Should be crispy and a nice brown. Step 6 - Remove, place on paper towel to get rid of the excess oil then throw it in your sack and head out to meet your guild for that raid your late for! Optional: If your serving these for some party (and trust me they make great party snacks) serve along side your favorite dip. Arrange into a pile and top with some leaves for a natural garnish. (Used dried Bay leaves in the picture.) ** Note: If your not sure how to tell when the oil is hot, you can put the meat in right after you put the oil in, it will just take a bit longer to cook.

Recipe: - Betty Crocker Super Moist Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 MAGIC ROOSTER eggs (Or regular chicken eggs. I liek mah cake magical. C: <3)
- Any frosting of your choice (I chose chocolate because I was craving it.)
Cooking time, process, oven temp, etc: Step 1 Preheat your oven to 350°F, then go ahead and grease the bottom of yer cake pan.
Step 2 Grab a bowl big enough to move a beater around in, then beat the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs on low speed for 30 seconds in said bowl. Then beat it s'more on medium speed for about 2 minutes. Make sure everything's been mixed up in that there bowl, nothing stuck to the sides or anythin'!
Step 3 Pour your cake batter into the greased pan, then bake for 30 - 35 minutes. (The baking time might differ, depending on the size of the pan!) Go kill a few things while you wait. >8D
Step 4 Grab a toothpick, bamboo skewer, w/e and poke it through your cake once it's near it's finished baking time to check whether or not it's done. If the toothpick, skewer, w/e comes out clean, CONGRATS! You baked a cake. :B
Step 5 Put on a pair of oven mitts and take your cake out of the oven, and put it somewhere to cool off for a few minutes. And make sure to turn that oven off!.. Unless you want the place burnt down to the ground. Then go ahead and leave it be. |D
Step 6 Go and grab that tub of frosting, rip the top off, and throw it in the microwave for 20 - 35 seconds. Whip it around a little in it's container with whatever tool you've picked out to spread it with. (It's kind of tricky with a battle axe and stuff, y'know, so... I'd use a cake spatula if I were you. o3o) NOW SPREAD IT ALL OVER THAT CAKE!
Step 7 You've got yourself a proper cake! Go ahead, cut a slice for yourself and nom nom nom away. Go on. EAT IT.
If you want it to end up like my slice did, however, utterly DESTROYED... Turn your back on your delicious slice for a moment and you'll soon find that others will have taken it upon themselves to try a bite.

You said that any food from World of Warcraft would work, so... Username: Jynk Foods Title: Ice Cold Milk Inspiration: Ice Cold Milk Entry: See below Recipe: See below Cooking time, process, oven temp, etc: See below Ice Cold Milk Ingredients: Ice cold milk Directions: 1. Obtain milk (probably from the looted corpses of your humanoid enemies) 2. Get it ice cold (a quick trip to Winterspring, Northrend, or Khaz Modan should do the trick) 3. Pour milk into viable container (a glass will do) 4. Enjoy ice cold milk (preferably with cookies) Ice cold milk restores 436 mana over 21 sec. Must remain seated while drinking. It can be obtained from Humanoid monsters between the levels of 9-23 or looted from a Barrel of Milk. You may also buy them from any vendor in a stack of five for one shiny silver piece and 25 copper pieces. In the event that you do not, in fact, enjoy your ice cold milk, you may also sell it to the vendor for a whopping 6 pieces of copper per glass. For more fun involving ice cold milk, it can be used to complete the following recipes: * [Delicious Chocolate Cake] * [Egg Nog] (seasonal) * [Clam Chowder] * [Bread of the Dead] (seasonal) I hear Great-father Winter loves him some ice cold milk, too.

Inspiration: Tender Shoveltusk Steak Entry: Piccy Piccy againRecipe:2 Slabs of pork-chop (you may use beef as well) 1 Tbsp of Thyme (seasoning shaker) 1 Tbsp of Basil (same as above) 10 Tbsp of Light Soy Sauce Ground Pepper (Preferably freshly ground) Garlic-Salt Cooking time, process, oven temp, etc: Step 1: Take the spices and rub all over the sides of the porkchop. Step 2: Sprinkle the garlic - salt and the ground pepper all over each side of the meat. (season to taste but generally its less garlic salt than a generous helping of pepper) Step 3: Pour half of the soy sauce on a pan and then put the meat in and then the rest of the soy sauce. Step 4: Cover the pan (cling wrap will do) and put it in the fridge. Marinade for 4 hours to overnight. Step 5: Cooking is on two routes: Grilling and Pan Frying: Pan Frying: Step A.1: Heat pan on high heat with a little bit of butter or oil. (2-3 tsp should do) Step A.2: Once heated enough fry the chops one at a time. Depending on the cut, it takes longer the thicker it is. (I used around 1/2 in thick pork-chops so that would be around 5 minutes to cook) Step A.3: For a more juicier pork-chop/steak, sprinkle some of the marinade on the meat as it fries around the last minute. Step A.4: Serve with your choice of sidings. smile (In the Philippines and the East: Its mostly rice as a siding. To those Westerners out there, some light pasta or Potatoes and Veggies will do) Grilling: Step B.1: Heat grill to high heat. A smokeless grill is preferred. Step B.2: Put pork chop on grill once on high heat. Cook depending on how thick the meat is. (1/2 inch cooks for around 5 min.) Flipping every few minutes. Step B.3: Brush on the marinade whenever you flip the meat. Step B.4: Serve with your choice of sidings. smile (In the Philippines and the East: Its mostly rice as a siding. To those Westerners out there, some light pasta or Potatoes and Veggies will do) Notes: For a more spicy flavor, add a more generous helping of pepper and slight bit of Paprika. Spices in the marinade may be ratioed according to taste, you may add more of that and less of this accoring to taste. you may use real garlic and a salt instead of the garlic-salt mix. If you have the garlic-pepper mix, you may use less salt and pepper altogether as the Garlic-pepper seasoning always has salt in it.

It helps if the fish isn't completely thawed when you do this. Dry the fish slightly on a paper towel and dredge in flour so the batter will stick. Batter and immediately throw in hot oil. They are done when they are golden brown and crispy. Mine look a tad different because they were reheated in the oven since they were made at a date before. But that's okay since this recipe freezes and stores well if you don't eat all of it. Serve with a variety of dipping sauces to your liking.

Step 3: Heat a little oil (or butter) in a frying pan and pour the egg mix into it.. don't forget to turn those sausages. Step 4: Keep and eye on the cooking eggs and when it seems mostly cooked place it under the grill, in the frying pan, to cook on top. I find this easier than flipping it since the grill is already going. Step 5: Take the frying pan out from under the grill and carefully scoop the omelet onto a plate, fold in half for more room. Step 6: Making sure the sausages are now cooked completely, take them out of the grill (don't forget to turn it off) and put them onto the plate as well. Step 7: Garnish with a touch of delicious cave mold and enjoy!
