The Lake Forest Palace is a palace that dwells in the center of a lake. Inside is a forestry area where the shinobis of the Leaf will feel right at home. This is an area where the leaf shinobis are free to rest and relax between the stages of the exams. In order to get to the Lake Palace, one must use the water walking technique, taking one paragraph of at least 6 sentences to travel to and from the lake palace.

 Zin started to notice a small scenery change as he departed the docking area. At first,the plains were very open,you could still see the open and live marketplace and also you could see the sky a little better through the tree's;mostly because they were spaced out a bit more. But,Zin noticed something as he entered into the depth's of the forest a little further. Looking up,Zin saw the large cloudy sky looking right back at him through the thick branches. He sighed and looked over to Nagi hissing,"It seems my friend.....That we are getting close but unfortunately without the sunlight to brighten the day."Zin said as he rather hated the rain which produced mud. Usually people of the Doton nature would be more than happy to have mud on their playing field;but when your walking to an unknown campsite it definitely wasn't the same for such thinking. With Zin's face buried in the map and him looking up occasionally from time to time,he stopped immediately as he heard water. Looking up,Zin noticed the lake that was displayed on the map as well as a little island that was circled in red on the map."Looks like that's our island Nagi......."Zin said as he looked over to the forest that lay on the other side of the lake."Heh,good thing we've trained for swimming yes?"The child said brightly as Nagi shot himself from the luggage and plunged into the water. Zin giggled a little and shook his head to his friend before taking off his kimono and putting it in his satchel that had a water proof seal. Putting it on it's bottom have,Zin immersed himself in the water along with Nagi as they swam across the lake. Moving swimming slowly and taking their time;which was all due to them not being in a rush as it was mostly because Zin's weights halved his speed tremendously. But again,Zin didn't worry about such things. After about ten minutes of swimming across,Zin finally made it to the bank of the 'Lake Forest Place.' Stretching and wringing out his hair a little,Zin looked to Nagi as he put the satchel back onto his back,"Come Nagi.......Let's set up camp."He hissed as his serpent friend replied as they entered in the little island served for Konoha.

Hiniko had wondered through the woods, she didn't completly dislike woods, but it wasn't exactly her favorite place. Vincent was a good ways behind, and so it was her alone. Wich wasn't very smart but she didn't mind. Following her own map she came up to the lake. She sighed.
"Wonderful, it seems i'm going for a bit of a swimming trip." Having kept a swim suit on incase of emergencies like this, she removed her over clothes. she put them in her pack and dived into the water. trying to keep her pack above water she swam to the island. It was a lot tiring then she thought it would be.
After a good while she made it there, she climbed onto land and quikly put her clothes back on. Looking around she had a feeling she was the only one there. But upon walking a good ways and looking around she spoted Zin.
"Zin!" she called joging to cetch up with him.

Zin had already changed in to his singlet pj's,mostly because the privacy of the island was rather high being the first one there,and was fixing up his camp. As Zin fixed up his little make shift tree-tent,he heard a familiar voice as he pulled out of the tent with Nagi at his shoulder. The boy smiled a brillant fanged smile,"Nee-chan!!!!"He said as he high-tailed it towards her;practically tackle hugging his 'sibling' from another descent."Your here!!!!!"Zin said brightly as he looked lightly up to her,"When did you guys leave Konoha? I didn't see you on the boat."He said as Nagi input his greeting by nuzzling his narrow head against her cheek lightly before retracting back into the lazy coil on Zin's shoulder.

Hiniko had to stumble a step to keep from losing her balance. She wrapped her arms aroud him in a tight hug so glad to see him here. She patted nagi to as he said hello.
"I just swam across" she laughed pointing to her wet hair. "I think we left only moments after youself." she explained happy to see him.

Zin giggled as he pointed to his own hair;damp but dried up mostly,"Hehe,same here. They said we should walk across but.....I think I have enough advanced techniques under my belt already."He said softly before pulling her towards his camp. It wasn't bad for a child creator. Four twigs on either end tied together with some string,while some bed sheets wrapped the tent itself. She'd see holes on the inner portion of the cloth and multiple sticks sticking out of then and impaling the ground deeply. Upon closer inspection,Zin had made a bed that was lifted off the ground so that he wouldn't have to worry about bugs;not only that but he had a couple of snakes snapping up any creatures or insects that wandered too close. Zin sat down to a fire that he made a good couple of feet from his tent and gestured for Hiniko so sit with him,"I see......So.....Do you think your ready for the exams?"He asked as he pulled out two bags of gummi's;offering Hiniko one while he started to tear into the other.

Hiniko looked around the camp curiously. For a child he had done very well making a camp. But of course he was no normal child either. She sat next to the fire with him and accepted the gummis thankfully. She hadn't ate in what seemed liek ages.
"To be honest, I;ve spent the last two days training. I have a lot to learn. Sadley I am far behind you and zin. I'm not exactly the most usefull member out of our team." she gave a small laugh looking into the fire.

Zin shook his head as he looked into the fire,"Never put yourself down Hiniko-chan. There's a big diffrence in the mist of the fight. If you have that attitude you'll never progress."His slitted eyes looked back to her as he smiled,"When you fight......Just say I'm powerful in my own right. Those that oppose what I believe will be taught to fear my abilities as well as respect it."Zin said as he stuffed his little mouth with gummi's before continuing and swaying his little feet a little,"If you believe firmly in yourself......No one can stop you."

Hiniko gave him a soft smile. "thanks, I'm relly going to need that for these exams, I'm scared im going to lose, and though i have confadence i'm going to win, I have no idea what im up against.. But I can't keep putting myself down, I've come a long way since....." she paused her mind flashing back to her child hood. she wondered if Zin had ever heard about it. she shruged and began eating again.
"I can't wait for the exams to start"

Zin smiled as he gave the rest of his gummi's to Hiniko,"Don't worry about it nee-chan. That's the fun part of the Chuunin Exams. We get to see other ninja and other abilities demonstrated before us.We just gotta give it our best."He said looking up to her brightly as he wondered if she would continue after the pause. When she dismissed it,Zin held his tongue in asking more as she'd tell him if she really wanted to."Me either. They might start tonight."He said softly as he looked up to the sky;glad to see it breaking apart a little and letting some more sunshine break through.

Hiniko finished off her gummies and stared into the fire a bit as he spoke. She had to admit, it did make sense. "I guess you're right. I can't wait to test my limets. I refuse to get beat out by anyone." she commented. Her voice for a split second held venom.
"I can't afford too." she smiled glancing up as the sun began to shine a bit. "today is going to be a great day don't you think?" she said softly.

Zin nodded before blinking a little to the slight change in purity of the voice she held near the end of the sentence. He smirked mentally, Nee-chan is quite the person.......Once if get this accursed seal from my being,I will manipulate that darkness and bring the full potential out. He thought as the child laid his head on her shoulder and continued to wave his feet lightly,"Heh,mhmmm! I hope we can do another team mission. I mean,what's the point of having a team if you don't use them at least once during one of the biggest stepping stones of your life?"

Hiniko smiled at him as he leaned his head against her shoulder. hE WAS SUCH A GREAT KID. (ahh) "I know what you mean. I feel so bad that me and vincent have done so little with you. Exspecialy with what you'be been through recently. You need SOMEONE there." she said softly. "Besides a team mate is a wonderful thing to have." she said brightly.

Zin smiled at what he heard Hiniko say and looked up to her with his large serpant hues,"Aww c'mon....I do....I have a big sister that's always looking after me right?"He said brightly as Nagi hissed in the same up-tuned manner.

Vincent had managed to catch up to Hiniko but only barely. He stood at the shores of the great lake. He looked back at the invitation and saw that this place the Hidden Forest Palace was the place for the Hidden Leaf Shinobi and it was on that island in the middle of the lake. He shrugged knowing that he was going to have to swim to get there. He didn't exactly want to get his clothes wet and so he began to undress himself and pull out a pair of swim trunks that he packed for the trip. It was a shame that Hiniko went on ahead without him becuase he loved watching her in that swimsuit she had. He was also thankful that his pack was waterproof.
Inching his way into the water it grew deeper with each step he took. With the water at his chest and neck level he began to swim across the lake. He brought one hand over the other in the regular swimming form. Only stopping to check to see how close he was to the island and if he had veered off course at all. Thankfully he hadn't and the island was in closer view than before. Starting on his swim again for what must have been at least three minutes and as his hand came down through the water he could feel the bottom. He looked up and saw that he had reached the shallow water of the island. Getting up he came onto land and saw his teammates.
"Hiniko!" He called out, "Zin!"
