 The Hidden Caves are an underground system that goes beneath the island. It is here that the shinobis of the Rock Villages can relax and rest between the stages of the chuunin exams. It is an intricate system of underground caves and it takes 1 paragraph of at least 6 sentences to travel in complete darkness in order to reach the houses that are underground

 Konaga Riko Iwagakure | Konaga Clan | Academy Student Following closely behind Shinji as he lead the way from the harbour to the resting area designated for Iwa nin, Riko kept herself occupied with admiring the passing scenery. 'This island is really amazing. To be able to substain so many different kinds of environment, I'm curious as to how this is all even possible.' As the thick forestry around them began to thin out into woods filled long thin trees, small bushes and moist soil, Riko hoped that they were nearing their destination. 'We've been walking for awhile now, just how much longer do we have to go before we're there? The pain is starting to become unbearable even with Shinji-san next to me.' Not wanting to seem like a pain in the neck, Riko continued onward in silence, glancing ahead every now and then hoping to spot the campsite.
After a few more gruesome minutes of hiking through the woods, Riko finally spotted a small clearing where a seemingly plain, giant slab of rock stood blocking their view of the woods behind it. Noticing that the gaint rock formed from within a small trench, made Riko wonder if this might be the base they were looking for. When the pair stopped at the edge of the trench, Riko noticed a hole near the base of the gaint rock, and quickly rushed forward, despite the pain she was currently in thanks to her bloodline, thinking that the hole just might be the enterence they were looking for. When she reached the mouth of the cave/rock, Riko dropped to her knees and placed one hand to the side of the opening and another in front of her to help support herself as she leaned forward to glance downward into the hole. 'Hm, I can't see anything beyond a few meters due to the lack of light but seeing how this is the closest thing to a shelter, I'm going to believe that this is it.' Leaning back out, Riko kept her right hand on the side of the cave as she turned her head back to look at Shinji. "Its really dark in there so I'm not sure if there's actually anything down there. What do you think Shinji-san? Could this really be the base?"

| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | Allowing Riko to lead the way, Shinji followed her and the signs on the dock which would lead them to their quarters for the duration of their stay. Finally dining their way to a long dark tunnel, shinji edged Riko forward as he held onto the walls, using the cold, solid rock to guide him where his eyes would not be able to lead. After several minutes of navigating in complete darkness, through some winding paths, Riko suddenly expressed a concern as to whether or not they were traveling to the right
destination...
"Well, all the signs posted this way, it's gotta be here somewhere." Picking up his pace slightly, Shinji accidentally bumped into Riko from behind, not realizing how much speed he had picked up, but caught her before she fell and moved around her, quickly taking point as he held onto her arm and dragged her through the caverns. after about the 4th turn, then finally were able to see a light at the end of the tunnel as the caverns led into a small area with some houses set up. "Hmmmpph... an impressively designed structure. I bet they think we love this since we're from Iwagakure and all, but in the end, it's jsut annoying."
All in all, Shinji was too tired to care anymore as he waved good night to Riko and quickly made his way to the nearest house. "Sorry for the lack of hospitality or conversation, but I really must rest up for tomorrow. I will see you later Riko!" and with that, Shinji moved into the house nearest to him and closed the door behind, instantly finding a mattress on the ground as he plopped down onto it, immediately beginning his meditation cycle as he was finally able to bring himself to rest.

Konaga Shinji
| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | Having no concept of time during his meditation, the moments seem to pass as if they had not taken place at all. In his usual jarring way in which he awoke, Shinji quickly opened his eyes, the pain of his bloodline flooding into him in an unpleasant morning surge as he was forced awake by the very thing he had suppressed in order to meditate. As the pain subsided back into the base level of pain which was constant for Konaga, Shinji's eyes focused and found a note containing a summons to the first part of the test.
Panicked that he would be late, Shinji quickly doned everything he thought he would need as he left the house, not bothering to wake Riko as he assumed she would do things in her own time and rushed into the dark passageway. Feeling his way through the caverns with his hands, Shinji tried to reverse the route he had taken last night, but still found himself bumping into stone and having to fumble around the walls to get through until he finally came out the other side, the sun beating down on him as his eyes cringed to the sudden change. "Acckk... what do they think we are? Mole-people?
Not wishing to waste anymore time, Shinji rushed over to the first testing area as he tried to mentally prepare himself for what would come next.

Kaze ArashiIwagakure| Yonbi Host | Genin Tactical | Speed |Lazy| Unpredictable 
"Hello?!" Kaze shouted down the hole in the rocks. 'Would anyone really be living here?' Kaze thought as he looked around to see the sign that indicated that Iwagakure ninja were staying here. 'Well..That sucks. Staying in a cave..Great.' Kaze thought as he walked down into it. 'There is a familiar chakra down there, too...' Kaze thought. "Hello? Hello?" Kaze continued to shout going down the hole. Kaze had his hand on the wall, which was cold. The wall was, that is. 'Is this really where they're having the Iwagakure ninja stay?' Kaze thought. Cold, dark cave. Flippin' amazing. 'Putting Iwagakure ninja......In a cave...' Kaze thought. He couldn't get off this thought of the Iwagakure ninja...Base being a CAVE. "Hello--" Kaze was then cut off. By what? Himself. He tripped down the pathway. Kaze rolled down the remaining path until he hit the secret underground housing.
By the time he was at the housing, Kaze was lying face first on the ground. So, solving this problem, Kaze got off his face, and sat on his back side. 'Huh...No wonder.' He thought as he looked around. An underground base. No one would've ever thought of that. Though, it was so fitting for an Iwagakure Ninja.

Konaga Riko Iwagakure | Konaga Clan | Academy Student Riko remained silent as Shinji came over and edged her forward down the cave. Trusting in his judgement, Riko began the long decent downwards while never allowing her right hand to stray to far from the wall of the cave that was now her guide. After a few more minutes of travelling in darkness, Riko once again began to question if they were really travelling in the right destination. 'I mean, I like caves and all but right now I'm just really to tired to care. Besides which idiot was it that decided to create the base in some freaken tunnel anyways?! There better be decent lodgings or who knows what I might do...' Riko nodded her head in understanding though she doubt Shinji could've seen it but did bother to vocally reply to his statement as she continued walking forward, allowing her annoyed thoughts to keep her company.
"Eek!" Riko felt herself suddenly pulled from her thoughts when Shinji accidently bumped into her from behind, causing her to loose to footing. Before she could fall, Riko felt a tight secure grip on her arm as Shinji caught her and manuvered himself around her to continue leading the way through the caverns. Riko muttered out a quick 'thank you' as she felt herself get dragged around through the caverns. About the 4th turn after the change in leadership, Riko was finally able to see a light at the end of the tunnel. 'Yes! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!...About time...'
Upon reaching the tunnel, Riko was instantly awed at the sight. The cavern before them had opened up into a small area filled with servel small houses for lodging. Scanning the area, Riko wondered if the place contained anything else beside houses. At Shinji's statement, Riko nodded her head eagerly in agreement. 'At least I'm not the only one thinking that that trip down the tunnel was a pain in the a**. Now, to get some rest...' Not sure if it was appropriate or not to just up and leave to the nearest lodging and rest, Riko was grateful that Shinji took the leave first. Not minding his lack or hospitality or conversation, Riko just simply waved goodbye to Shinji before heading off to the next nearest set of lodgings.
Entering the house, Riko immediately noticed its size. 'Pretty big for simple shinobi lodgings...but I guess since the exams will probably take a long while that they wanted to provide a decent lodging for the competitors...*yawn* I need some rest...' With her thoughts already starting to be somewhat laggy, Riko headed directly to the bedroom where a bed was set up by the back wall of the room. Plopping herself onto the bed, Riko made herself comfortable aginst the bedpost before closing her eyes and starting her meditation cycle. Her body relaxed as it freed itself of the fiery raw chakra that was the source of her daily pain, allowing her mind to drift off to some old memory, Riko was grateful for this brief chance at rest and freedom...
Loosing herself to her meditation, Riko felt contempt to just stay in this state forever but she knew that that wouldn't be possible. 'Just a bit longer though...' Riko mind was instently snapped awaked as the sound of someone crashing against the hard dirt ground echoed throughout the cavern. Opening her eyes, Riko instently felt her raw chakra rush back into her bringing with them an all to familiar pain. Biting her lips as she tried to hold back the pain, Riko found herself unconciously trapping a nearly pillow in a deathgrip. Once the pain subsided back to there usually constent level of pain, Riko manouvered herself off the bed as she left to see what it was that caused the ruckus awaking her from her peaceful meditation state.
Opening the door and stepping outside her lodgings, Riko spotted a shinobi with really familiar red hair looking around the cavern most likely trying to spot another living being. Finally remembering where she had seen the shinobi before, Riko wondered if it really was a good idea to greet him, 'All he did was just stare, glare at me while in the Tsuchikage's office...I'll have to meet him sooner or later so why not sooner...' Closing the door behind her, Riko called out to the shinobi still aimlessly looking around for another source of life. "Hey! You with the batch of red hair, what are you doing here? Are you here to watch the chuunin exams too?"

Hearing commotion in the underground base, Kaze wasn't sure if it was an enemy or an ally. So, he reached for his sword, which was in its sheathe, on his back. 'Wait...This chakra is coming closer....But its also familiar.' Kaze thought as he released his grip on the handle of this sword.
Kaze saw a familiar figure open a door to a bed room. Her green hair was the only thing that actually reminded Kaze of that time in the Tsuchikage's office. 'Oh, so she's here? Whats she doing here?' Kaze thought as he felt more relaxed from the familiar person here with him. "Chuunin Exams? Er....Yeah, I guess." Kaze said, not sure what he actually was here to do.
"Oh, I guess I should introduce myself." Kaze said, ruffling his hair with his left hand. "Names Kaze Arashi" Kaze shouted, extending his right to shake with hands with this Iwagakure ninja. "Oh, might I ask, what are you doing here?" Kaze had asked out of curiosity.
"Hmmm." Kaze said, pondering. Kaze ruffled his hair once more while thinking.

Konaga Riko Iwagakure | Konaga Clan | Academy Student Riko watched as the boy came over and introduced himself. Seeing his outstrected hand, Riko extended out her own right hand and gave Kaze a firm handshake, "Konaga Riko, I recently got accepted in the academy and I happened to bump into Shinji-san of my way to the tower. He told me about the chuunin exams and when it took too long for the Tsuchikage to become avaliable and deal with my citizenship, I sorta followed Shinji-san out of the office to come as his guest. I'm treating this as a learning expedition so I'm sure the Tsuchikage won't mind too much. Besides, I'm not even offically registered yet. How about you? Are you a genin participating in the exams?" Retraching back her hand, Riko waited patiently for Kaze's answer.

Kiyoko Kaguya

--------------------------------------------------- Kiyoko arrived at the entrance of the caverns. She sighed as she would have to walk in complete darkness. It would be boring but she would have to do it. As she walked in, the further she got in the cave, the darker the way become, though it was not difficult to find her way. It wouldn't take her much more time to get through this kind of maze. While still in the tunnel, before she would get to the underground base, Kiyoko didn't resist and shouted "Hellooooooooo!" allowing her voice to echo through the tunnels.
Kiyoko then arrived at the underground base...but it didn't really look like a base. There were...small houses built there. 'No fuuun...an underground base would be a lot better...' she thought after looking at the houses.
Walking outside the houses, Kiyoko saw two people chatting, Kaze and Riko. She walked towards them, she knew that Kaze was here because he came here with her, but why was Riko, an academy student outside the village? Well, first things first. She would get to know about that later. "Looks like you weren't chased after you arrived here, right Kaze?" she said and right after she greeted Riko. "Hello!"---------------------------------------------------

"I see." Kaze simply responded to her statement. Kaze then retracted his hand, putting it at his side after the two shook hands."Riko...Okay.Wait...Who is 'Shinji-San' ?" Kaze asked, ruffling his hair once again. "Me? Oh, I'm a Genin, but not participating in the exams." Kaze continued to explain, then moving onto the next topic. "I doubt the Tsuchikage would mind....Or..Maybe she'd be very angry." Kaze said, pondering on his thoughts at the moment. "Hmm. I don't know her well enough to say, but, it'll all be fine!" Kaze shouted after ruffling his hair, while laughing.
As the Tsuchikage came down into the cave, Kaze laughed and looked toward her. "Speak of the devil and she shall come!" Kaze said. He would probably get a...Unhappy comment back, but, whatever. "No, I wasn't chased. You were too slow!" Kaze exclaimed.
Kaze then put his attention back to Riko. "Well, well, how about you two talk this over, while I go explore the island more~" Kaze said, wanting to just explore. He was letting his curious side take the best of him.

--------------------------------------------------- Kiyoko heard Kaze's laugh and comment. "Looks like I was mentioned while you two chatted...What do you want from the devil?" she said. "Slow? If you were faster than me I would think about considering what you said as an offense." Kiyoko replied to the boy.
As Kaze mentioned something they would have to talk about she got curious. "Talk about what?" she asked.---------------------------------------------------

Konaga Riko Iwagakure | Konaga Clan | Academy Student As Riko listened to Kaze's response, she found no clear opening to intrude with a response before they were interupted by the sound of another person entering the cavern. Turning to see who it was, Riko was surprised to see the Tsuchikage herself. 'Wow, Shinji-san wasn't lying when he said she would come watch. I just didn't think she would come this soon.' Nodding in a silent responce to Kaze's joke, Riko listened slightly surprised at the way he spoke back to the kage. 'Is everyone like that when they speak with her? First Shinji-san and now Arashi-san too? Wow.'
After Kaze's last statement, Riko flashed him a friendly smile before uttering a quick, 'sure and thanks.' Riko waited until the Tsuchikage finish speaking before opening her mouth to reply. "It's about my citizenship papers mi'lady, they've yet to be fully approved by you yet and I believe we haven't formally met yet," Riko then paused momentarily to give Kiyoko a respectful bow, "Konaga Riko, age 15 and I've just recently been accepted into the academy. I arrived yesterday afternoon at Iwa to have my citizenship approved which was neccessary for me to study here since I was born outside of Iwa." Taking a deep breath after talking for so long, Riko flashed the Tsuchikage a friendly smile as she waited some sort of response from her.

Laughing at the whole joke itself, and the Tsuchikage's response. "Ahaha! I won the race, Tsuchikage." Kaze said while laughing,"But, I did get a head start, and you didn't even run!" Kaze continued. He moved his hair out of his face once more, it entertained him. Something as simple as that, amazing.
"Well, while you two chat, I'll just...." Kaze said in an attempt to leave, but, the Tsuchikage would catch him, so, Kaze decided to stay, like he had anything better to do though. So, Kaze listened to Riko as she introduced herself to the Tsuchikage. 'Konaga...' Kaze thought, engraving that word into his mind. It was an interesting name indeed. Anyway, Kaze adjusted the sheathe on his back as the two ninja began their conversation. 'This is just like back at her office.' Kaze thought.

--------------------------------------------------- "A head start? While I waited for you at the docks, you appeared running as if your life depended on it hahahaha. Then you went straight over the water." she said and laughed. "Just after that I got a boat to get to here, without any hurry." she then turned to Riko, to listen to what she had to talk about. "Citizenship...right, don't worry I believe it will be done quickly once I get back to Iwa." she answered the girl, who introduced herself afterwards. 'Konaga? That is Shinji's last name too...isn't it?' Kiyoko wondered and replied to the girl. "Nice to meet you Riko. I'm Kiyoko Kaguya. Don't worry about your citizenship it will be approved." It was obvious that the people who were from her village and many of those outside the village would know she is the kage but since her name is rarely used, everybody calls Kiyoko by her title, she wanted to make sure people knew her name. Being known as Tsuchikage, when nobody knows the name Kiyoko Kaguya wouldn't be good.
"You should get informed about when the chuunin exam will start, and observe what can be observed. Untill then you can do whatever you want in the island, as long as you don't yourself in trouble." she said and sighed. Trying to keep him in the base would be just as boring as staying there without doing anything. "You could use your time to train aswell." she told him without even looking at him to see he was trying to get away.---------------------------------------------------

'Well, she doesn't seem to be mad about me just taking off like that but it'll probably still be best to apologize.' Nodding her head happily in response when she heard that her citizenship will be well taken care off, Riko noticed that the Tsuchikage went and introduced herself with her name. 'I guess, she would perfer to be known by name. It might be wise to start addressing her with her name then.' Once she spotted an opening to speak, Riko opened her mouth to talk, "Thank you so much Kaguya-sama. I'll do my best to learn from this experience. I'll take in all that I will observe so that I can become a better ninja for Iwa." Glancing towards the house Shinji had entered last night, Riko wondered if he was still 'sleeping'. As another wave of pain surged through her body, Riko winced slightly at the increase in pain, indicating the loss of the calming pressense provided by another Konaga. 'Did the exams start already?' Looking to the Tsuchikage, Riko voiced out her question, "Um, Kaguya-sama, by any chance did the first part of the chuunin exams already start?"
