Griffith Park
Welcome to Griffith Park, the Central Park of the American West. Host to the Los Angeles Zoo, Greek Amphitheatre, Observatory, Museum, and even the Famous HOLLYWOOD letters.
By daylight this park is fun for the entire family, full of cheering children and underpaid staff. Nighttime brings another crowd entirely to the paths and parks, carefully looping around patrols and doing their best to avoid the vigilanties who keep the night safe for mortals.
Even today, much of the park is uncultivated and wild.

Imogen slithered as fast as she could, winding carefully between trees, the sound of footsteps running after her the only sound louder than her own labored breathing. 'They can't catch me. They can't!' the Lamia cried to herself, desperately trying to escape the humans that followed her.
And they were humans, she knew that much. Slayers most likely, she could smell the iron bullets, the blessed weapons they would use against her. She would not be caught, could not be caught, after coming this far. Leaving the southern dens only to be captured, to betray her race and be the first to be counted as evidence to the existence of her kind... she would not let that happen.
Quickly Imogen slithered up into the branches of a tree, curling up tight against the darker side of it she spread her tail out in one direction, hoping in the shadow her indigo scales would appear a plain tree branch. They would chase her forever, she could only hope that they'd run past and leave her, undetected.

Slvr lay on the soft grass by the large O that made up HOLLYWOOD. The second O. The one after the H. Right after. Anyways, he lay there staring thoughtfully at the sky. HIs mind was a buzz and empty all at the same time. However, this gave him a head ache as he would get a good idea, and would not remember it, so he just closed his eyes. His swords lay next to him, wrapped tightly and covered, looking like no more than a oddly shaped back pack. His bandages wrapped tightly and freshly changed after an awkward adventure that is to be told another time. He did enjoy the peaceful LA area. Mostly peaceful.
