"Mind if I join you?" Fabian asked, sitting down next to the captain. "If we aren't on formal terms, of course... taichou." He added the last part in a semi-respectful voice, wondering how much the 4th captain had had to drink already.

"Part of my nature, taichou. And I wasn't aware that third seats and captains were equal..." he trailed off in mock-thought. "Nah, I'm joking. Anyway, was that for me?" he asked semi-jokingly and the rest flirtily, testing the captain's level of inebriation. Hmm... inebriation. That was a cool word. He internally laughed, making a mental note to use that word sometime.
