So, lets say you have a post on your computer, or in your head, that was deleted in the purge. Maybe it's important to plot, maybe it helps with the timeline, maybe it sets up for future plot for your character, or is central to past events. What do you do?

Post it here.

Anything and everything, if you have it, post it. This post will stick around for a while before being moved to the OOC Subforum.

So, what are you waiting for? Let's post.

((Time meant nothing, never would agaaaain~))
((Let's do the Time Warp again! mrgreen ))

Black.

Darkness, more or less. The quiet calm of sleep, blissful dreams sliding through her mind.
Suddently, there was a yell from beside her. Wenda sat up and turned to Mark, wondering what was the matter.
She saw him looking at his stomach in terror, then saw the hole through his skin. Confused, Wenda looked up at the woman who had caused it.
Maren stood, chewing happily on Mark's kidney. Blood, Mark's blood, ran freely down her chin. Wenda's mind struggled to comrehend what had happened, her thoughts still slow from sleep but her instincts yelling for her to get away, to run while she still could.

"Go back to sleep, dear."

It was now that Wenda's thoughts came into order and a scream issued from her lips, highpitched and terrified. Mark was dead! Dead! This woman -this monster- had killed him!
There was a sound, a movement from the woman that she did not recognise, and suddenly Wenda found herself exhausted. She could barely keep herself sitting up and her head hit the pillow, her eyes beginning to close as a dreamless sleep overtook her.
No.
She would not fall asleep, not while that monster was in her house. She had to fight, to resist, to survive. Mark was dead, she could hear the squelching noises as the monster tore at his body, devouring him until his life was extinguished.

"Mommy?"

Wenda froze, realizing her screams had sealed her children's fate.
No! Run! Please, run! Run _____, take your brother and run!

A twisted grin spread across the monster's face as she put what she had been eating back into Mark's body. She stood and turned, opening her arms for Wenda's children.
She waved them forward, "Mommy belongs to me now dear, and you soon will too."

Desperately, Wenda struggled inside her mind. She had to move, had to get up, had to stop the monster from devouring her childen. But it was no use

Maren woke with a moan, reaching to stretch. Suddenly she stopped, feeling a wall behind her. And to the sides. She kicked, and felt her foot touch wood. She reached above her, and felt a heavy lid. Below her, an inch of dirt, grave dirt. Her dirt, from her grave in Europe

Well, no matter,
Maren thought, It's just my coffin, has the sun set yet?
She stopped, something was wrong. Her coffin was moving, and she didn't remember Vlos turning her. Her last meal had been nearly a year ago.
Maren held her breath and closed her eyes.
Her heart was still beating.

She planted her palms against the lid of her coffin and pushed.
Please, let me not be buried. That would be too cruel.
The lid flew open and Maren bolted upright, looking around wildly. The room was dark and stank strongly of salty brine, confirming her suspiscion that she was on the ocean. But where? Voices from above spoke in Afrikaans, but the tongue was too modern for her ancient knowledge to follow.

"I've been waiting for you, Maren."

Maren instinctivley looked in the direction of the voice, her eyes wide. No.

"I've missed you so much, you know, Maren. But I am patient. You were useless to me unless you could be independant, so I let you travel on your own. Then when your first child died, I let you stay a little while longer, so you could heal. It's time to come home, Maren."

"N-N-No, please! Lilit-"

Pain shot through Maren's body.

"Do not call me that, Maren. Not until you are ready."

"Yes, My Lady," Maren whispered, her skin prickled with pain and fear.

The figure drew closer, and now Maren could see her properly. Pink eyes, the same as her own. Rarely, if ever, did Maren fear things. To fear something was to give it power of you, was to give it control. But this woman, alive or dead, terrified Maren in ways she would never be able to understand. She would rather bite of her own tongue than to let Lilith touch her.

As if reading her mind, Lilith ran her fingers along Maren's face, along her jawline and down her neck. Maren shivered and Lilith grinned, showing rows of pointed teeth.

"You've been a very bad girl, Maren. Gossiping about me. The things you have said have been very unkind, true although they may be."

In a fluid movement Lilith drifted across the room, her skirts trailing after her in a supernatural effect. She faced the far wall, but her voice echoed around Maren like she was whispering in her ear.
"You will say no more about me, to anyone. Not my location, not my habits, not any part of your history that crosses with mine. Do you understand me?"

Maren shook in her coffin as she felt her head nod of it's own violition. She could not disobey a direct order, no matter how badly she wanted to.

"Yes, My Lady."

"Good girl," Lilith smiled, "That's exactly what I wanted to hear. Now lay down, it is time to forget all these silly notions of love and family. In the end, all you have is me."

Maren felt her legs straigten and herself lean back into her coffin, unable to resist Lilith's commands. She closed her eyes and bent her arms over her chest in the old pharoah's cross, as if she were preparing for her final rest.

Lilith stood over her coffin, resting her hand on the edge of the lid.
"I will see you soon, Maren. It is time to come home."

The lid shut, and Maren was in darkness once again.
