SO YOU WANT TO FIGHT A BATTLE?

It's inevitable. Whether you're Horde or Alliance, you've got to be wanting to show off just what you can do with those weapons you spent so much gold on. And this is just the arena to do that!

Signups will be open for up to two hours or until I get 64 participants. Why 64? So that I can divide you all into even brackets, of course!

Participants will be assigned brackets simply based on who signs up when, and the brakets themselves will just be on my computer. After the brackets are complete, I will post the list of who is fighting who in the first round! Each pair will have a Fighter A and a Fighter B...read on to see why!

Each round will consist of four phases:
Phase one - Fighter A attacks
Phase two - Fighter B defends
Phase three - Fighter B attacks
Phase four - Fighter A defends

Only half of the participants in a given round will progress on to the next - and there will only be six rounds in total. The champion will have their choice of the two hounds, with the other being raffled off amongst the other 63 participants.

WHY YES, I WANT TO FIGHT A BATTLE.

I'm sure you're wondering how this works specifically.

To attack you will roll five 20-sided dice.
To defend you will roll one 100-sided die.

I will subtract the defense from the attack to find out how much damage is done, and no, there will be no negatives in this. Just 0. The winner of each fight is the one who does more damage to the other player. There is no cumulative damage.

After I post the matches for a round, those people labelled as Fighter A (for that round only) will then attack. After five minutes I will then post for Figher B to defend. After another five mintues I will post for Fighter B to attack, and then five minutes later for Fighter A to defend. Then I will compare the rolls in each match, announce the winners, who they are fighting next, and who is Fighter A and Fighter B in the next round. This will continue until all six rounds have passed.

CAN YOU HANDLE A BATTLE?

Rules

No mules (accounts under 2 months old or less than 1000 posts) allowed.
Proxies are allowed only if you clear it with me during signups. You must tell me who is proxying for you when you sign up. They cannot sign up to play for themselves. You must also tell me when you are leaving and they are taking over.
If you have already won (and accepted!) a freebie from a previous game, you cannot participate!
Except as a proxy with no claim whatsoever on the pet.
If you do not post your attack or defense roll before I announce for the next phase to begin, or close the round, your roll becomes an automatic 0.
No deleting posts! It will get you disqualified.
If you forget to roll your dice or roll the wrong dice, try posting again before the phase ends. Otherwise it's an automatic 0.
If you have lost your match do not continue to post in the thread. It makes it harder to keep track of the people still in and I will remove you from the raffle list.
