This is who I am. I hope it's okay... Name :: Ronen Cian Hazuki Nicknames :: Nen-Nen, Blue Born on :: October 6, 2005 Age :: Teen (~17 years old) Race :: Stegosaurus Gender :: Male Height :: 5'9" Weight :: 160 lbs (most of the weight is his tail and the spikes themselves - Ronen is overall pretty lanky.) Eye Color :: Red, with yellow rims on the outside Hair Color :: What hair ? Skin :: Pale Blue, scaly Distinguishing Features :: Dorsal spines, spiked tail, glasses Likes :: Warmth, hot chocolate, hugs, carrots, pineapple Dislikes :: Cold, pears, loud noises, any kind of meat (even the smell can make him ill if it is too pronounced) Fears :: That he's going to be all alone one day, death Image Songs :: Final Fantasy 7 - Cosmos Canyon; Xenogears - The Stars and The Tears Personality :: Ronen is gentle, caring, but shy to an extreme, due to some extremely bad experiences in his childhood when he attended a private school. He is starting to open up again, but still do not instinctively open up toward others unless he knows them, which is where he reveals his true nature. The dinosaur is a perfect person to confide in, and a very good ear that will listen without imposing any judgment, gentle as a lamb and probably the most creative person Zero has ever met. While he is very good at finding ideas, he usually needs some encouragement to put them in motion, due to insecurities only made more prominent by teenhood. He can go as far as being ashamed of himself because he looks so different from even the other fourth wall children - an habit that his mother is working slowly, but surely, to unroot from his train of thoughts. Sweet as he is, and mind often bubbling with originality and artistic revolutions, Ronen tends to be absent-minded and misplace things constantly - the prime example being his copic markers, which he often tuck in between his glasses' rim and his head, only to promptly forget their presence there mere minutes later, and does the fretting artist's equivalent of calling a search party for them. Ronen tends to live in a small scale hurricane, his disorderly habits, coupled with his own absentmindedness, creating hilarious situations indeed. However, only the spaces that are his suffer from this face, as he will keep the shared areas in a decent enough state. Abilities :: Summoning small balls of light. It is not something he seems to be able to do consciously as of yet, so they simply happen while under stress, or subconsciously.

This is who I am. If you don't like it, you're more than welcome to get the hell out. Name :: Aylen Shanza Nicknames :: Ayl, Firebird Born on :: Unknown (She affirm August 1, but it is impossible for her to give an actual year, as it would most likely be inaccurate) Age :: Teen (~16 years old) Race :: Phoenix Gender :: Female Height :: 5'6" Weight :: ....you can go ask her if you want >>;;;; Eye Color :: Purple Hair Color :: Orange, red and purple streaks Skin :: Covered in red/orange feathers Distinguishing Features :: Beak, feathers, wings, the works. Likes :: Skirts, sunflower seeds, lavender and rose scents, incense, Ronen's drawings, celery sticks Dislikes :: Any lack of respect toward herself or others, feeling ignored, injustice Fears :: Any body of water deeper than your average bathtub height - Aylen cannot swim at all, and rather dislike water to begin with, so she only use it to drink, and to clean herself (quickly thanks to this thing called the shower). Image Songs :: Wild Arms 4 - I look up to the sky because you are here; Nana - Rose Personality :: Aylen is, overall, extremely moody and ever-so-changing, like a proverbial firestorm. She, of course, strive to be pleasant, polite, and friendly, and while she mostly does success, and is by no mean a little monster brat, she becomes wild and uncontrollable if angered... and unfortunately, she angers quite easily, and as no qualm into wandering into the realm of a physical fight if rilled enough to do so. She had her own sets of morals and beliefs, and the best way to upset them to to attack them. On the flipside, she DOES respect diverging ideals and opinions... as long as they're not shoved in her face. Feeling forced to do something irritate her greatly as well, but if left on her own, it is very likely that she will do most of everything on her own, as she is very orderly (Ronen's room is her own personal worst nightmare). Most of all, Aylen strives to see, talk, and interact with others - her previous life didn't allow her to do much of that at all, neither did it allow her to be completely herself - as a priestess in training, she had to be as perfect as possible, but now as she has no "standard" to meet anymore, she is finally allowed to be herself, and has no one that she need to completely please, or high bars raised to her - and the whole thing is making it easier for her to interact, and has caused her to open up greatly, also creating the "need" for her to interact with others, in order to fill what she consider a void inside of her. Overall, the phoenix girl is intelligent, charming (with no qualm against using those charms), and by no mean boring at all. Abilities :: Aylen can create and control fire, using heat from her own body. The flames can become intense enough to allow her to burn to ash should there be a need to, and her control over this is nearly flawless, having gotten a massive training as early as toddlerhood. After all, a phoenix unable to control her own flames would be quite dangerous indeed.

The guardian and her family~ Zero used to be a reploid - a type of sentient robot - but she is now a cyborg due to a series of odd events. She is the adoptive mother of both Ronen and Aylen - while Ronen looks up to her as his mother, Aylen doesn't quite see things this way, given that she still has memories of her family. The firebird tends to see her as a guardian.
Uno is Zero's doppleganger - once named after her brother, Wren, she assumed her own identity once her power reached an high enough level to reflect Zero completely. Uno lives with Zero and passes for her twin if anyone asks, and is considered as a second guardian to the children in the house.
Wren is Zero's brother - not related by blood due to their nature, but as they where created by the same person, they consider themselves family. Wren also had become a cyborg now, in the same series of events that hit his sister. He lives nearby and tends to visit often.
The other children~ Sei is one of Zero's earliest adoptees - a fa'e child, one born from actual parents - a relatively rare thing for their race, as they tend to pop out of nowhere. Nonetheless, Sei cannot live with his mother due to his nature as a fa'e, and needs his bond to Zero to stay alive. Both Ronen and Aylen gets on well enough with the fa'e, but Aylen in particular seems to be able to crack his shell like no other...
Alden is Sei's adopted son, a fallen angel. The idea of having to act as a father figure so young was a bit overwhelming, so Aylen stepped in to her strengthen his resolve. She doesn't realise it, but Alden was named after her. Since he was born after he moved out, Ronen has had little contact with his nephew of short.
Hana is Wren's adopted daughter, and has recently shed her leaf-like form to take one resembling a monarch butterfly instead. Wren's little princess, she rarely ever leaves his side.

Ronen's parents where the last two shamans of the tribe, who had known each other since they where children and married rather early in their life. His father, Koran, was by 2 years the elder of Mai, his mother.. They knew the decline of their race was coming near... and their attempt to call over the force of nature to heal the sick and stop their kind from dying did nothing. It was only after many attempts, and only after the chief died and only 5 of the tribe remained, that the decision that no more children would be born into this world and that they would allow themselves to fade, as nature itself seemed to want it. Fate would have it's way, however, and 3 days later, Mai laid her egg. The option of the opening trough the wall was brought up, but the faint chance that he, if he survived long enough, would live on took over any logical reason. From that day on, the life of the 5 survivors focused on the egg, the last child of Bashal Aran. Koran was the first to die of his illness, soon followed by the chief's young son, Mai's mother, and the daughter of the elder, leaving Mai herself alone with her son in the span of 3 weeks. She stubbornly continued to incubate, but was growing weaker and weaker each passing day, and had to admit herself that there was no way she would survive to see her son hatch. And then, even if he would hatch, he would die quickly without the care of his mother. Mai then took the decision that her son would not die without experiencing life, and that she was to send her son into the other world. Once she reached the opening of the wall, she removed Koran's necklace from her neck and gently warped it around the egg, tightly enough to that it would go trough with it, but not tight enough to snap the leather cord. She ran a finger on the top of the feather, knowing that she would be reunited with her love soon but that neither of them would ever see their son's smiling face. "Goodbye, my son." She whispered, leaving a kiss on the smooth surface of the pale eggshell. "May we live on trough you, last child of Bashal Aran... I love you." At first, she was almost taken by panic with the fact that the egg seemed to be too big to go trough, but after hours, she finally managed to send it trough, slowly working herself to her feet and watching the wall sadly before turning and leaving, to die in the village she was born with, surrounded by the spirits of those she loved. This is the end of the tale of Bashal Aran, and the start of Ronen's story. ---- ???

Ronen's tribe, Bashal Aran, has existed for centuries in the dimension on the other side of the wall, and was still the most recognised and one of the oldest established tribe before it became instinct. They where mainly forest dwellers, keeping to themselves and creating literal villages into the treetop of the dense, warm jungle. They where formed of various species of herbivorous dinosaurs, accepting each and every species over the span of centuries that, well... wouldn't try to eat the rest of the tribe by instinct. This selection was done long before the current rules came in application, and it simply remained that way. The tribe followed a very specific system of a chief being in charge, and the son/daughter taking over, the only way someone not blood-related to the previous chief could take over was if he or she was appointed to do so. The tribe had shamans that worked in much the same way, trough there it was believed the power of a shaman could only be transmitted from parent to children, and only they would be allowed to become shamans. Their rule system worked mostly around the respect of nature and each other, and surprisingly enough it was very rare that anything would happen that would require the chief to act as a judge. The initial reason of the Bashal Aran's forming was to protect each other from predators, and it simply remained that way over time. They did not worship gods, but rather nature as a whole, as a force. The shamans where the messenger in-between the force of nature and the tribe, hence their high social status. For reproduction, the races, after years and years of being one near another, seem to have grown to share similar incubating times. It takes on average 5 days for the female to lay her egg, and a month of incubation before it would hatch. The father would build a nest of dried grass and leaves even inside the house, in order for the egg to stay warm when neither parents could be present to keep the egg warm. ---- ???

The stegosaurus (IPA pronunciation /ˈsteg.əˌsɔː.rəs/) meaning 'roof-lizard' (Greek stego-/στεγο- meaning "roof" and saurus/σαυρος meaning "lizard") was a genus comprising several species of large herbivorous, quadrupedal dinosaurs from Upper Jurassic strata in western North America. The stegosaurus is one of the more common dinosaurs found in the Upper Morrison Formation, some 155 to 145 million years ago, in an environment and time dominated by the giant sauropods Diplodocus, Camarasaurus and Apatosaurus. It is among the most easily identifiable dinosaurs, due to the distinctive double row of kite-shaped plates along the animal's back and the long spikes on its tail. These armaments were necessary as it co-existed with such predators as the fearsome Allosaurus and Ceratosaurus. The stegosaurus was the largest stegosaur, reaching up to 12 m (39.4 ft) in length and weighing up to 5,000 kg (5.5 short tons). However, 7 to 9 m was a more usual length. The skull of the stegosaurus was long and narrow and, due to its short forelimbs, its head was carried close to the ground, probably no higher than 1 m (3.3 ft). It has been thought it was a browser of low-growing vegetation, because of this. The front teeth had disappeared, being replaced by a horn-covered beak or rhamphotheca. Stegosaurian chewing teeth were small and triangular and apparently did little grinding as they lacked wear surfaces. Nervous system : Stegosaurus had a relatively small brain (about the size of a walnut), compared to its large body. The sacral ganglion, a bundle of nerves near the base of the tail, responsible for controlling reflexes in the rear portion of the body, was actually larger than the brain. This has led to the famous misconception that dinosaurs like Stegosaurus had a 'second brain' in the tail. Limbs : Stegosaurus had very short forelimbs in relation to its hind legs. The hind feet each had three short toes, while each forefoot had three toes. All four limbs were supported by pads behind the toes. Posture : Soon after its discovery, Marsh considered Stegosaurus to be bipedal, due to its short forelimbs. He had changed his mind, however, by 1891, after considering the heavy build of the creature. Plates : The plates of Stegosaurus were highly modified osteoderms (bony-cored scales), similar to those seen in crocodiles and many lizards today. The largest plates were found over the animal's hips and measured 60 centimeters (2 ft) wide and 60 cm tall. The arrangement of the plates has long been a subject of debate but most paleontologists now agree that they formed a pair of alternating rows, one running down each side of the midline of the animal's back. The function of the plates is also debated. Their large size suggests that they may have been used to increase the apparent height of the animal, in order either to intimidate enemies or to impress other members of the same species. The plates appear to have been too fragile and ill-placed for defensive purposes and both male and female specimens had them. A recent theory proposed that they may have helped to control the body temperature of the animal, in a similar way to the sails of the large meat-eating Spinosaurus or of the pelycosaur Dimetrodon (and the ears of modern elephants and jackrabbits). The plates had blood vessels running through grooves and air flowing around the plates would have cooled the blood. This theory has been discounted, since the closest relative to the common plate-wielding species, Stegosaurus stenops, had low surface area spikes instead of plates, implying that cooling was not important enough to require specialized structural formations such as plates. A study published in 2005 points to a simpler function: identification. Researchers believe this may be the function of other unique anatomical features, found in various dinosaur species. Tail spikes : There has been debate about whether the tail spikes were used for display only, as posited by Gilmore in 1914, or used as a weapon. An study of tail spikes, by McWhinney et al., which showed a high incidence of trauma-related damage, confirms the spikes were indeed used in combat. ---- In ancient Egyptian mythology and in myths derived from it, the phoenix is a mythical sacred firebird. Said to live for 500 or 1461 years (depending on the source), the phoenix is a male bird with beautiful gold and red plumage. At the end of its life-cycle the phoenix builds itself a nest of cinnamon twigs that it then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix arises. The new phoenix embalms the ashes of the old phoenix in an egg made of myrrh and deposits it in the Egyptian city of Heliopolis ("the city of the sun" in Greek). The bird was also said to regenerate when hurt or wounded by a foe, thus being almost immortal and invincible — a symbol of fire and divinity. Originally, the phoenix was identified by the Egyptians as a stork or heron-like bird called a benu, known from the Book of the Dead and other Egyptian texts as one of the sacred symbols of worship at Heliopolis, closely associated with the rising sun and the Egyptian sun-god Ra. Myth origins : Phoenix (also known as Garuda in sanskrit) is the mystical firebird which is considered as chariot of Hindu God Vishnu. Its reference can be found in Hindu epic Ramayana. The Greeks adapted the word bennu (and also took over its further Egyptian meaning of date palm tree), and identified it with their own word phoenix, meaning the colour purple-red or crimson (cf. Phoenicia). They and the Romans subsequently pictured the bird more like a peacock or an eagle. According to the Greeks the phoenix lived in Arabia next to a well. At dawn, it bathed in the water of the well, and the Greek sun-god Apollo stopped his chariot (the sun) in order to listen to its song. One inspiration that has been suggested for the Egyptian phoenix is a specific bird species of East Africa. This bird nests on salt flats that are too hot for its eggs or chicks to survive; it builds a mound several inches tall and large enough to support its egg, which it lays in that marginally cooler location. The convection currents around these mounds resembles the turbulence of a flame. In Russian folklore, the phoenix appears as the Zhar-Ptitsa (Жар-Птица), or firebird, subject of the famous 1910 ballet score by Igor Stravinsky. The phoenix was featured in the flags of Alexander Ypsilantis and of many other captains during the Greek Revolution, symbolizing Greece's rebirth, and was chosen by John Capodistria as the first Coat of Arms of the Greek State (1828-1832). In addition, the first modern Greek currency bore the name of phoenix. Despite being replaced by a royal Coat of Arms, it remained a popular symbol, and was used again in the 1930s by the Second Hellenic Republic. However, its use by the military junta of 1967-1974 made it extremely unpopular, and it has almost disappeared from use after 1974, with the notable exception of the Order of the Phoenix.
