Name: Itsuki Hara
Nickname: Suki, Sook-sook
Age: 18
Birthday: April 14th
Sign: Aries
Gemstone: Ruby
Blood Type: AB+
Fav. Food: Spicy Tuna rolls, steamed rice, fresh veggies. Has a secret love of empanadas.
Hated Food: Fast food, fried food, almost anything with a lot of grease. Hates spring rolls.
School: Meadowview High School
Hobbies:
Invading Dr. Westerman's Private Space – Perry Westerman is Itsuki's American host. By accepting that role, he also accepted a great deal of snooping, prying, peeking, peering, poking, and spying from his Japanese guest. Itsuki has no concept of personal space when it comes to Dr. Westerman's home, and has made Dr. Westerman very aware of this face. As far as he's concerned, “Perry casa is me casa.” Itsuki is constantly bombarding Perry with questions, pulling books off of shelves, repeatedly inspecting every drawer in the house, and critiquing Dr. Westerman's taste in shirts. He has been known to wear Dr. Westerman's shirts on days of mourning, such as when his betta fish died.
Dr. Westerman gave him a shoe box for the funeral. It was a touching ceremony.
He does, however, appreciate Perry's hiking boots. They are great boots. Itsuki wishes they wore the same size so that he could wear them. Sometimes, when Perry isn't home, he wears them anyways.
They are really great boots.
Pooka – Pooka is Itsuki's second betta fish and Itsuki's closest companion. He is small for a male betta, blue and black in color. Itsuki keeps him in a small glass bowl on the coffee table, and yells profusely when Perry nudges it by accident. Pooka was bought as a companion for Itsuki's original betta fish (a welcome gift from Perry), under the impression that he was a female. Roughly five minutes after being dumped from his plastic cup into the bowl, he violently demolished the first betta (whose name Itsuki now refuses to speak). Though Itsuki mourned the death of his first fish, he respected Pooka's strength and tenacity.
Perry is not allowed to feed Pooka.
Perry may not tap on Pooka's bowl.
Perry is forbidden to give Pooka leftover sushi on the grounds that this will further the beta's cannibalistic tendencies.
Perry may never cover Pooka's bowl with a washcloth because he is “giving him the evil eye.”
Violin – As a son of a wealthy businessman, Itsuki was given a choice of hobbies at the age of five, among them various instruments and sports. He chose cup-stacking, a competitive sport in which cups are stacked in various arrangements and judged on both speed and precision of the stacks. His mother, not being a fan of her only son playing with kitchenware as a hobby, chose violin. What followed is known in the Hara family as the Cup Cold War, in which Itsuki attempted to barricade himself in his room with his cups, throwing them at the heads of anyone who managed to make it past the door.
The war ended after only a few brief hours, followed by thirteen years of violin lessons. Itsuki eventually learned to appreciate the violin and has excelled at playing it, but he still holds his secret love of cup stacking and vows to someday pursue this dream.
Meanwhile, he's a damn good violinist.
Disc Golf - Being the inquisitive person he is, Itsuki has taken an interest in learning some of the American sports. He refuses to play football on the grounds that it is a lie of a sport, since it is played with hands and not the feet, but has welcomed Perry's enthusiasm in acquainting him with some of the lesser known sports. He has taken an unusual liking to disc golf, and will nag Perry excessively to go play on Saturday mornings.
You Teach Me And I'll Teach You – Itsuki says shut the hell up about how cliché he is. His Charizard can beat your Blastoise.
Itsuki denies the existence of all Pokemon past #151.
Virtues:
Today's Forecast: Honorable With An Eighty Percent Chance of Seppuku – Itsuki has been raised to respect his culture and family traditions, although he often does so grudgingly. While he may gripe and complain and shout 'Dishonor on your family!' the way most people scream 'God damnit!', he will almost always yield to his own sense of honor and integrity in the end, whether he likes it or not. This includes an honor code of sorts by which his father (or more appropriately, the tutors and nannies his father employed) raised him. This honor code is long and detailed, but can be summed up as respect for his family and their wishes, strength of character, and remaining true to his heritage.
Itsuki will dryly tell you that this means: Taking over his father's business even though he would rather wrestle a greased up Chinaman, not spending all of his money on Pokemon cards (even though he found a mint condition first edition Charizard for a steal on eBay), and eating a lot of rice and fish. This also means not losing.
Ever.
At anything.
Caesar Milan, Dee Pack Leedur – Itsuki has been prepped to hold a position of power and authority and he takes this expectation very seriously. Whether it is a group project for school or just deciding what movie he and his friends should see, Itsuki always steps up to the plate when it comes to decision making. He doesn't like to wait around for someone to fill the leadership gap, and absolutely hates when he's stuck in a group that is just aimlessly floundering about. Never one to be shy or quiet with his opinions, Itsuki is a born leader.
[The Unstoppable Force] – Itsuki is as self-motivated as they come. When he has a goal, he formulates a plan and then pursues it relentlessly. Once he has set his sights on something, it's easier to stand aside and let him go at it until he either gets it or wears himself out in the attempt. Standing in his way is an exercise in futility, and trying to rationally explain why he should give up is like blowing air into a raft full of holes. You're wasting your breath. Itsuki sets his sights high, but does not believe that if you “Aim for the moon; even if you miss you'll land among the stars”. Why? Because there are no stars near the moon. You will, in fact, land in open space and your eyeballs will explode out of your head like that kid in Event Horizon.
Silly Americans, just don't miss the damn moon.
Flaws:
He's Absolute, He's Absolum! – Itsuki is always right. Always. You had an opinion? No? Didn't think so. Itsuki is supremely confident in his decisions. When Itsuki makes a choice, whether it be what he wants for dinner or who to pick for Dodgeball, he does so without hesitation. Never ever does Itsuki second guess himself. He may agonize over the decision beforehand, but once the choice is made it is final, and Itsuki will defend it no matter how rational the opposing argument.
Itsuki knows everything.
Itsuki knew Bruce Willis was dead from the very beginning.
Itsuki knew that Snape was good all along.
Itsuki knows what happens at the end of Lost.
Everyone's A Little Bit Racist! – Itsuki was raised with very specific beliefs about what is and is not appropriate, and he looks down on those who do not meet expectations. That said, Itsuki abhors American culture. At least, American culture as he perceives it. While he is smart enough to know that not every American is a fat, rich, lazy fan of Britney Spears, he is not likely to give the benefit of the doubt. Guilty until proven innocent is Itsuki's motto when it comes to the average American. Itsuki prefers women who dress modestly, and is outright disdainful of tramps, whores, sluts, floozies, and other variations of loose women. He believes carrying a gun makes you an unsophisticated heathen. If you eat McDonalds, you might as well be ingesting cyanide, and Itsuki has no respect for people who are trying to kill themselves. As with most of his opinions, Itsuki is not shy about his disdain for America's culture (or lack thereof) and will vocalize it frequently.
Beware the Jabberwock, My Son – Itsuki is usually a very calm, collected individual who remains pretty even keel. He favors logic over extreme emotional reaction. Unlike e certain overdramatic Seal he knows, Itsuki does not have very many extreme ups or down. When he is happy, he smiles and laughs quietly. When he is sad, he puts on one of Perry's shirts and mourns in silence. Anger, however, takes Itsuki for an ugly spin. Itsuki's temper is a violent one, complete with forehead veins and clenched fists. Itsuki has, at times, been known to throw things while upset. While it is unlikely that Itsuki would ever hit someone, it would not be beyond him to grab someone by the shoulders and shake them until he felt like they had absorbed some sense.
His temper comes into play most noticeably when he loses. Itsuki can not stand losing at anything. While he may bite the inside of his cheek and congratulate the winner (depending on how well he knows them, close friends are more likely to see him storm out of the room or flip over the game board), the moment he is behind closed doors he will start screaming foul play. Itsuki carries a grudge for several days when he is beaten at even minor events, and has yet to forgive the kid who beat him in the 2008 Pokemon TCG World Tournament.
Unfiltered, Fresh From The Springs Of The Douchebag Mountains – Itsuki's brain-to-mouth filter seems to have not developed in the womb. While he may eventually yield to what he knows is the right thing to do, the road from A to B is a bumpy one. Itsuki is honest, brutally so, and frequently comes off as being a Grade A Douchebag rather than just giving his honest opinion. Itsuki believes that not being honest might as well be the same as lying, and as far as he is concerned saying something that is not fully honest is a waste of time.
Physical Description
Eyes: Almond shape, very deep brown in color.
Hair: (Leaving this blank until his student art is done)
Face: High cheekbones and sharp, angular features. Usually frowning in disapproval of something.
Clothes: When not in school uniform, Itsuki wears the same thing almost every day. Dark skinny jeans with a pair of red converse shoes and a casual button-down shirt.
Leopard's Eye
Element: Fire
Powers: Itsuki, as Leopards Eye, has minor but flexible fire magic. This is not particularly powerful (not like a senshi's attack), but can be used in a variety of ways. These include creating heat to warm things, minor fire control, giving minor burns, and throwing minor flames as he fights. As an Eye, he has the ability to remove an individual's dream mirror and look into it.

This was LOADS of fun to read! =D The only thing I'm worried about is that his personality could very easily be overbearing and too much for some RPers. ^^ Other then that quick warning, nice job!
