I got a coupon for a free manicure. And I want some ideas for nails. Maybe nails you got for prom or something? Give me crazy ideas!
I've never had a manicure before. Are they awesome? I am kind of looking forward to it.

Personally, I'm not a manicure fan. I'm rough with my hands and I bite my nails. BUT, I think french tip nails are really cute.

If I get them, I LIKE to get gels with French Manicure and a design on each middle finger. So I can be fancy when I tell people to ******** off. :3 Sometimes I just get a full set with a solid color.
My nails are too crappy for just a regular manicure. I can't grow them at all. i tried back in december and they all got to a nice length for a week or two and then they just started cracking and tearing.

I currently have gel nails with silver tips. My friend owns her own salon near Gifu Station and did them for me. Gel nails don't seem to be that common in the US yet (I'm surprised Xippy knows of them O_o), but they're supposedly better for your nails than acrylics. My nails:

I looove manicures! Its so fun, but pedicures are better. For a manicure it's really nice because they lotion your hands and massage them and your wrist/forearm. When I got it done I just got a dark blue colour and she shaped them sort of 'square'. After they felt so healthy and niceee.

I usually keep my nails very long. I have never gotten a manicure. I don't really like painted nails unless its a neutral white, gray, or flesh color but I really never paint them.

The only thing I know about nails is dark colors look good on short nails, and light colors and french tips look good on longer nails.

I see them on the signs of services offered at almost every nail salon I go to. Maybe it's an east coast thing though, because most nail salons I've been to are owned and operated by people of asian decent.

Personally, I like to get gels with a french tip but with a design on the tip instead of white and a "candy stripe" is what I call it, which is basically just a stripe of color before the tip. Last time, I got black and white zebra print with a white stripe. I'll see if I can find a picture as I just took them off.

Cause I NEVER saw gel nails advertised in Cleveland. Every single nail salon in town was run by Vietnamese and only did acrylics.
