Domovoi: *won't even look at anything as they walk, just praying to the heavens that nothing happened, nothign at all, just too much fun under too much heat - just delirious from memories and freedom*

Delu - *finds herself following along in Domo's wake in similar silence, She wasn't sure what to say to her steadfast guard after well..there wasn't any need to go into details..the fact was it had happened. She was going to blame the heat for her weariness lately however, she couldn't fathom anything else being the cause."I'm terribly tired" She finally ventured to Domo which wasn't like her to admit but she was and she didn't want to struggle on anymore right now.

Domovoi: *seems a little shaken by the break of silence* T-Tired? Oh, yes, it's been a while longer than usual we've been walking . . . *for the first time in a while he lifts his nose up and scents what is brought by the breeze - more wolves to the north. Mayhaps they coudl ask sanctuary, but to make Delu move through the mountains . . .*

Delu - *She didn't think they had been walking anymore then the normally did - but she didn't feel like argueing that point so she left him that illusion for right now.* "Smell anything?" She asked after noting him scent the air. domo was far better then herself at picking up the naunces on the winds. Probably a talent left over from spending so much of his time wandering with that blasted cat she told herself.

Domovoi: Wolves to the north. The snows shoudl have melted mostly by now, btu the terrain is rough. I'm not sure if there are any other packs nearby, and perhaps in the mountains our unnamed evil will not get to you.

Delu - *mulls over his words for a few moments* Maybe *She finally allowed although she wasn't too keen on staggering up the slopes right now. Safety first though she old herself - personal comfort later!* 'I suppose if you think it will be safer up there then that where we should go..."

Domovoi: Just a try, miss. If things grow too haggard, we will come down immediately. *Hesitates, then slides a little closer to her as they begin to paw their way up* If you get tired, miss, lean on me - you won't be too heavy.

Delu - Very well then *She stated briskly, as though tired of portrying the weary traveller - she was a princess for barks sake! And not just any princess but one on a mission to revive a lost kingdom - she couldn't keep blathering on about being tired and weak. just look what had happened the last time she'd given into such things! and with that thought in mind started working her way up the mountain - though she did shamfully have to use domo to steady herself every now and then when the going to rougher then she was used to.*

Kear: -sniffs about the sounthern border marking the border afresh with her scent and looking out. The pack had continued to grow quite nicely and no disturbances had come about to trouble them in the least. In fact almost all wolven traffic had ceased for a while leaving the pack quiet except for the pups who yipped and howled at all hours with their play fights and mock hunting trips- Hmm, another borning day -sneezes in laughter to herself turning to n** at an itch on her haunch when a fant breeze brings strange scents to her nose.- Something is coming...

Domovoi: *After a while of walking up and up and up, his thighs were beginning to strain under his weight (and sometimes Delu's too), but he shut his mouth and kept his winces silent. Each time they brushed against one another he felt another stab of guilt, and not even the gradual return to less inclined ground would ease him. The scents grew stronger* Close now . . .

Delu - *Had started to pant long ago and given up on tryng to hide thi weakness from Domo. Moons she was pretty sure she could sleep for a week after this excursion. Mountains indeed! Next time she'd just n** that idea right in the behind. thankfully at least the fact that he was so very tired kept her from suffering the constant tortured thoughts that Domo unknown to her was expirienceing. "I should think so!" She remarked in a huffy voice "Much farther and we might as well consider ourselves heading to the moon!"

Kear: -Curiousity piqued she wandered forward just out of the border scenting, she was close enough to their lands that she would be safe, but she could not help but feel the need to investigate and as she moved foward the mumbled sound of a snarled female voice struck her dark auburn ears- Who is there? - howls out, others close to her lands one way or another they would come close to hers and her mates borders so why not seek them out now and find their purpose early-

Domovoi: *Yikes, bad thing to say - oy, where was his mind anyway?* S-Sorry, miss . . . *Then he heard someone howling from somewhere in front of them and, tired and dehydrated as he was, the large omega immediately forced himself into a defensive position before the princess, bi-hued eyes searching about for the source of the voice* Only travellers stumbling into the mountains!

Delu - *her ears pricked up as the howl came from in front of them and she didn't argue when Domo pushed to the front, that was after all his job. Instead she turned her eyes to the area's behind and around them wary of being surrounded in the unknown area. They had only heard one voice but that didn't mean there weren't more wolves hiding out there.* "We mean no harm.." *She added her voice to Domo's answer "Merely a chance to rest"

Kear: -tilts her head at the replies, a couple of travellers that were looking for rest, well they had spare dens and plenty of them. A few in fact very close by with a small water source and away from the main lands where the common dens were, trotting forward and carefully scenting out the couple she spied them, an odd looking couple, she was larger than the both of them, but in a way as an Alpha she should have been- Looking for a place to rest. If you are interested I have an empty den just on the edge of my Mates and my lands. My name is Kearith one of the Leaders of the Ignis Renatus pack. And who might you be?

Domovoi: *As simple as that? He remained suspicious as always these days, lifting himself up from the agressive stance but still remaining on guard* Domovoi, madam alpha - *He almost used "servant" next, but it wouldn't be wise to continually show their relationship: not when they were on the run still* My friend and I, as she said, only hope for someplace to rest and recover. We have been travelling for too long.

Delu - "Delusion" she introduced herself, though she like Domo thought it wise to keep th truth of their relationship secret - not everyone reacted well to the thought of a visiting servant and princess in thier lands. And she certainly didn't think it wise to tell this Kearith wolf that she thought they might be followed by spies."We would be most gratefull for use of the den" She added - suspicious or not delu was not going to give up the chance for a real den to sleep in - a luxury not seen since they had left her hompack.

Kear: -nods to the pair with a wave of her tail- It is a pleasure to meet the two of you. Well if rest is what you need, as I can see for myself, we have a den you can use that is very close to hear on the edge of our lands. You are welcome to use it as long as you please. -gives a toothy grin and lowers head a bit in assurance that she meant well, though her mate would not have been so quick to let them in, she would keep her eye on them and send a wolf each day to check on them. She was kind, but she was far from stupid-

Domovoi: Thank you. *too tired to return the smile, just lets his head hang for a bit as he issues a long, deep, and relieved sigh; after so many days (weeks maybe?) of walking, perhaps they would end up just staying there. But then, if . . . But he shook his head of those thoughts, not needing a new problem dumped upon him just when it seemed like they were solving one*

Delu - "You are quite kind" Delu told the reddish colored alpha. She would recall this wolves kindness later on - once she'd restored her kingdom and then thank her properly. But for now the thanks Domo had issued would have to suffice. "If you would just give us directions to this den we'll stop taking up your time" She continued with a fleeting smile.

Kear: -shakes her head- I shall take you there myself, give you a...bit of a tour. -chuckles and bit an pulls herself around back in the direction of the den- There is a small pond close to it with plenty of fresh water and even some fish and the game around here is good, but we never take more than what we need to feed the pack. The den should be clean as well, we make sure our unused dens are clean in the case of visitors. So tell me, how far have you traveled?

Domovoi: A good few leagues from the south east, Miss Kearith. Until now we have been skirting pack borders, relying solely on what information we could glean from other travellers about them. Really it was more a mishap that we managed to find ourselves so far north.

Twiddle: *is happening to be cleaning said den, picking up a rather spread out frond that managed to get blown into its depths; holding it in his mouth, he uses it as a crude broom to begin sweeping up dust*

Delu - "quite a ways" Delu agreed with Domo's words, a slight nod of her head as she thought back to just how long they have been traveling "And far to long without a nce place to sleep" She added with a tired but sincere laugh.

Kear: I see, I once traveled far south, but I found myself banning together with my mate and coming back to the north and we happened to settle here, though for a while it was just the two of us. -she could see the den up ahead and just as soon as she looked at the mouth of the den she could see the faint plooms of dirt and dust rising and falling- Hmm, looks as though one of our cleaners is tending to the den now. I'm glad to see that. -waves her tail happily and lets out a yip to call the attention of the unknown cleaner-

Twiddle: *pokes his head out after a few seconds, frond still hanging limply from his mouth* Visitors. The den is clean enough.

Domovoi: *blinks; they had servants here too?* E-Er, yes. Thank you. *waits for Delusion to move in first, as she looked to be the more tired of the pair*

Delu - *oh well thi plac was turning out to be far more comfortable then she had originally thought! Perhaps wolves from the north had mor sense then those from the south she pondered as she noted this so called clearner poke his head out - they after all seemed to have servants that cleaned thier dens for them. Perhaps this was a pack of royal wolves? Well that would all come clear soon enough on its own she figued as she glanced into the den "It shall do quite nicely" She proclaimed "And your cleaner has done a wonderful job of cleaning it out" She added with a slight smile to the ervant wolf in thanks.

Kear: -nods at Twiddle and nudges him with her head and licking his cheek in a friendly manner, he was an odd wolf but she respected him and had a strange liking for him- Twiddle always does a good job, he is a very valued member of our pack. As are all of our members. The pond is just passed the willow tree a little to the southwest of here. Please make yourselves comfortable. -bows her head and little and smiles at Twiddle-

Twiddle: *blinks at the lick and compliments, off-set by how one cheek was warm and now one was cooler. He sneezes off to the side and pads out of the den fully, some random bits of dirt and grass clinging to his pelt* And the next one shall be next. Two dens or one?

Domovoi: "Two dens or" . . . Oh! Oh, well, er, if you don't mind cleaning a second one, I-I'm sure my friend needs a den to herself for now;. *sheepishly* I take up too much space.

Delu - "That would be for the best..." Delu managed to say, her eyes suddenly unable to look at Domo as she recalled just hwat she'd beenmanaging not to think about for the last little bit "something close though?" She inquired after a few moments - it might not be wise for them to share a den given thier er..transgressions lately...but she didn't want to be alone in a strange land either

Kear: Of course, there is a Den just behind this one. Twiddle, if you don't mind or if you haven't already cleaned that one out will you for our guest? -wags her tail at the male, though she knew all to well there was really no point in asking him if he mind, he always seemed to so indifferent-

Twiddle: Very well. *dips his head to the trio and trots off, gnawing gently on the frond's stem as if in thought to go clean up the second one*

Domovoi: *sighs inwardly in relief* Thank you very much for your hospitality, Miss Kearith. We are unused to this sort of kindness. *bows his head*

Delu - Being both tired and now somewhat embarrased delu thought it might be a good idea to just excuse herself from the entire situation. Surely no one could blame her? It had been a long trip - and Domo would understand she was sure "I think if no one minds..I need to go and rest for a spell" She stated in an apologetic voice before slipping into the Den and curling up somewhere in the back though her thoughts kept her awake for longer then she would have liked*

Kear: -tilts her head- I am sorry to hear that you have found little kindness. It seems that times are hard with the whispers of pup thefts and a pack that demands tribute from every other. It's bothersome to anyone who roams about Telk truly. Luckily we have had no problems. My mate and I pray that we are far enough north to escape these dangers. -sighs and smiles- Times may be hard, but we carry on, keep holding as strong as we can. It is funny I believe that in times of hardship how the most unlikely of wolves can ban together for safety don't you think? -looks at Domovoi curiously-

Domovoi: Mayhaps, madam. *a weary yawn* Forgive me, I might just go and sit down for a while near the den your cleaner is attending to. My legs feel as if they might give out any moment.

Kear: -nods- Please do rest, I will have someone bring you both food later after our hunt you two need rest and I am sure you are hungry. -bows her head and stands up and shakes herself- I need report back to my mate as it is and tell him that we have guests.

Domovoi: Yes, madam. *bobs his head slightly and shuffles over to flop beside the den Twiddle was cleaning, wanting to sleep but also tormented by doubts, by the guilt of having free will. Thinks to himself as he settles down* 'Let it be nothing more than overactive imaginations . . .'
