There are sparkles in EIs and RIG items. Weird huh? Do you like it or find it annoying?

What do you think of the new manga?
Does this mean that there's going to be another RIG coming soon?
What do you think it means when the Cash Shop area is sparkling from the Shop area?

I can't be annoyed, since these will doubtless only be temporary. And they changed the background, so yeah, I'd say it's a new rig coming up. *Makes sure to stand somewhere out of Ruby's way, in case of getting trampled.* There does seem to be an explanation, which I found in these threads (there's a link within the one I give, 'cuz I'm lazy). me It seems that many of the items in our inventory are sparkling. There is an explanation for this, or at least, part of one. http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/questions-assistance/sparkles/t.60883425/?_gaia_t_=3934 It's the Collectible items (rigs, EIs, Aquarium, etc.) which are sparkling, and as time goes by, you may see other items sparkle which didn't before. That's because there are still some items left which haven't been made to sparkle. It seems that Titan's Legacy doesn't sparkle yet, but is meant to, and the artist for it will soon fix that. As for me, I'm equipping as many as I can fit. Maybe you randomly have a chance to get something for it? I dunno, but it's worth a try! ^_^ Edit: Also, I don't read the manga. xP

while I do think its a cute idea and a good way to combat scams, I wish the sparkles weren't so.....obnoxious XD
like if you're shopping for premium items in the marketplace, just going down the list makes your eyes hurt

It's a neat idea to sort out from shop items to Mcs to EI's to prevent scams. Sparkles are not annoying, but it could have been worse. So far I came up with sparkle color code legend to help others to determine which item is what. I will post the legend here and also I will be making a stickie in Amy's Info Desk.
Color Sparkle Legend.
Monthly Collectibles --> Pink color
Evolving Items --> Light Blue/Silver color
GS Shop Items --> Yellow color
RIG Items --> Rainbow (mixed colors)
Aquarium Items --> Cyan/Turquoise color

The sparkles are annoying X_x; Too much inventory... Pretty, but still. Some of my items are glowing rainbows even though they're not Rig items.

I think the sparkles are kinda annoying. This idea would maybe work, if it only sparkled in the trades. Instead of when I'm changing my avatar, my inventory, or if you try to view my equipped list.

All they have done is lag my computer, annoy me, and force me to wipe at my screen thinking it was a smudge. "No wait, it is just a sparkle frozen in time because of lag stare "
I love sparkles, but I am loving these about as much as I love Twilight. confused

I am with other people and equipping tastefully what I can. I hope Admins and NPC tell us something soon. Also anyone have a hat or accessory that can goes with outfit? Trade for Perfect Tragedy.

Sailor Solaris: Thanks for the help, Solaris. I don't read the blog so I was very confused.
cherub_Shagami: You can always go into your Internet Options area on your browser and turn off the animations ability then it will stop the sparkling.
I wish that someone in Gaia will let users know what's going on with the sparkles in an announcement or the reason why because to me it looked like something from the new manga. Anyways I hope the new RIG comes out. I'm defiantly going to put up the RIG list when it comes out.
