Midnight Shadow and Richlieu RP:

The white and pink stallion shook of the mornign dew in his silvery mane with rose colored tips, which made him look as if he had recently dipped into rose colored mud. He yawned lazily and looked around to see if he was up too early. The sun had rose above his head, so he overslept--again. He had been meaning to get up early and change his 'camping' place before the sun was so hot it was not very comfortable to move.. but that was left to another day. His recent favorite place was the lake and the area around it. He liked staying in a place for a long time-and his next destination was almost across the boundaries, a day's walk. He wondered if he would ever quit making excuses and actually go there.

Richlieu raised on his pink hooves and walked to the water's silvery surface and lowering his head, drank up as much as he could from the refreshing water. He was planning on going on a little walking trip to see if there were any teepees nearby.

Midnight Shadow gently dipped her hoof into the water on the opposite side of the white and pink stallion. She sighed as she looked at her reflection in the water. The ripples that were forming from her legs caused the image to be distroted, making her face look ugly. Shaking her head, she turned her gaze away from the water and towards the other side of the lake where she spotted the stallion.

She pranced a little bit in place, contemplating on what to do. Her shy nature took over and she suddenly felt like she didn't belong there. She arched her neck gracefully and took a few steps out of the water, her golden tail swishing gently in the breeze. 'What should I do now? I have never been this close to a stallion before,' she thought to herself, panicking a little.

Richlieu raised his head, he was sure he had heard something walk on the grass. He looked around curiously, for he was rarely scared of anything, and finally managed to spot a chocolate colored soquili with honey colored mane. She seemed reluctant to join him. All the mares he had mey this far were shy, but that was ok because the stallion was very soft natured and tried his best to ease new soquilis he had met. Unlike that Zephyr, who seemed to act like a foal despite his age. Thinking about his teepee friend saddened him, he had missed them quite a bit.

He shook the feeling off quickly and trotted to greet the mare "Hi there" he called in a friendly tone "Mind if I join you?" He did not want to interrup her if she was in middle of somehing... but then again what could be she in the middle of next to a lake all alone?

Midnight Shadow flicked her tail slightly as she noticed that Richlieu had spotted her. She gazed around the area, trying to see if there were others of her kin around, but found that it was only her and the stallion. She took a few tiny steps back as the stallion approached her and she flicked her tail again.

She canted her head to one side and looked at the stallion curiously. 'He is asking me to join me?' She pawed at the ground nervously, debating on whether or not to talk to the stallion. 'My master does want me to get over my shy nature. I knew I was going to meet a stallion sooner or later, but none that is as beautiful as this one.' She blushed slightly as she nodded her head as a reply to Rich's question. "Hello," she said shyly. She observed the stallion for a few moments before resting her gaze on the stallion's wings. "Wings. How come you have them and I have none?" she asked him curiously.

Richlieu smiled encouringly at the mare, he was quite docile after all! He smiled at this thought. "I am Richlieu" he exclaimed taking a few more steps towards her and bowed to her gracefully. A lady should be treated as such.

He turned his head and took a look at his own wings.. He actually never questioned their presence "I don't really know... Comes from family I guess?" he said absentmindedly "I rarely use them lately though... Earth seems much more nice with this angle" He smiled again. "You miss all the nice details when you are up in the air!" It was true, airborne he would miss the change to meet so many lovely soquilis.

"Mind if i ask you what you might be doing around here all by yourself?" he seemed to be asking this question quite a bit but he was worried about mares who wander in these parts alone, the forest was near and who might know what it beheld?

Midnight Shadow blushed a little bit more when the stallion bowed to her. "I'm...Midnight Shadow," she said shyly. She turned her body slightly at an angle and rested the tip of one of her hooves on the ground.

She listened to his reply to her question carefully and she nodded her head. She gazed at the wings for a few moments before glancing down at his legs. 'Pink. I always thought that pink wouldn't look good on a stallion, but he looks very beautiful in the color.'

She lifted her head up right when he asked her a question and she shuffled her hooves slightly, causing a bit of dust to form around her legs. "I was looking for my master. She took off without saying anything and left me alone. It has been several days since I have seen her and I am getting quite worried if she is alright."

"Midnight Shadow..." the stallion repeated "A lovely name and it fits your color too" He nodded "Nice to meet you then Shadow" He quite liked nicknames, however with him, Rich sounded more like a pronoun rather than a name... not that he minded what he was being called as long they were within the boundaries of acceptable. He had been called Raz quite a bit because of his color, raspberry pink.

"Your master?" he asked " and you have been looking for her all this time all by yourself?" he continued in disbelief. It seemd like his owner Nephalia was not the only irresposible owner "I would love to escort you in your search until you find her" he said "After all you never know what you might encounter alone out there" Chivalry was not dead yet!

As a foal, Richlieu had seen so much kindness from older soquilis and even humans, it was in his nature to pass down that kindness--he had not been quite selfish at any point in his life, but neither was he too giving that he allowed other soquili use him. He was just the way he was...

'Shadow,' she thought to herself. 'Rather interesting nickname for me.' She had always been used to her master calling her Dark due to her name having a dark meaning to it.

She nodded her head slightly at both question the stallion asked her. "Yeah. I had no one else to travel with. I have always shied away from the other soquili and it is hard for me to meet new friends," she said shyly.

She canted her head to one side and looked at Rich curiously. "Really? That would be wonderful," she said, a hint of joy in her voice. 'Now I can truley have a traveling buddy.' She gazed around the area curiously and sighed. "I wonder where she went to. She said something about the plain land, but I have no idea where that is."
