User Image Petrolling.. that was what he was doing. To get away from the drama.. to get away from the tragedy that was his family. He loved them... he loved Baride.. but he felt as though the drama left.. when he left. being there to be in the middle wasn't fun.. and everyone had their own thing to do.. so he went out petrolling the forest grounds area.. Looking back at the tall walls .. before disappearing within the forest where the tall walls became just slight specks. It was easy for him.. he was black and maintained a stealthy cloak over him.. Warding others away with his nasty roar.. chasing them away.. or just watching as they moved away themselves. It was easier that way.. Beyond the hill side.. there was the long grass... Slowly.. he edged by it.. and when he turned his pride had disappeared.. As if a mirage.. covered his eyes.. when he looked back.. he only saw the vast landscape.. of void. Sometimes he'd catch a glimpse of a herd of zerba.. or something of the sort..Catch a meal. Bring it back.. that seemed to work. Watching.. as he found it hard to keep his attention when there was not a real SET mission.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Chilali was in an adventurous mood. She'd woken up early, brought down a small animal and been on her way. Seems like her feet had been on a mission today. Not that she minded all that much. And the place her feet was leading her to, since it seemed to be leading her to a new area. An area with lush greens. Sorta like the wetland that she usually frequents but.. not so wet. Chilali chuckled to herself, feeling light on her paws. Though, having a light meal, and walking so far was starting to get to her. The leopardess mused that, perhaps there'll be some good eating right where she was heading.

Just walking about.. jumping on logs and trying to balance.. Things like this to get him out of his train of thought. Of what happened the day before.. or his life.. Wondering but also remembering he had a place to go home to now. But wondering got him to many places he'd never seen.. but once he saw something move just ahead of him.. His eyes grew and he sparked to attention. Now.. it was all on the female passing him.. walking in a misc direction.. but further from the pride.. He tilted his head.. and like a guard.. He sunk in to the shadows and started to follow her.. Eagered.. and questioning. 'Who is it. Where did it come from..'

Tail flying in the air.. then sinking down.. as he caught up to her in no time flat.. and it didn't help that he blended it with every shadow that was casted in the lush forest area.

Her feet were on the move, and her ears twitched in any direction they could. When being in a land you're not familiar with, you had to keep your attentions to your surroundings, lest you get hurt. In a slightly shallow way, Chilali had hoped that if a male were to come across her; they'd get distracted by her being..feminine. However, in that same thought, a small seed of paranoia bloomed; and she knew even if a male were to find her it...could turn out badly. For the latter thought, she thanked being a leopard. Having some girth to her and not having a thin frame.

Her tail bobbed to a fro, in rhythm to the gentle movements of her hips. Chilali's personality wasn't too girly, but, she couldn't help too much that her body was. But she took pride in her looks. ..To some small extent, atleast. Poor thing did suffer from low self-esteem from time to time.

Bugie watched her.. She was like someone he knew. But cheetah.. body slimmer. He edged on and prodding the surroundings that he could hide in the shadows of. He was a good stalker and once he found a place close enough. He watched.. her body like Basha's.. So she wasnt a cheetah. His ears went forward as he sunk in and out. She was too close to the borders and if she didn't want to be dragged in.. he would have to lore her out. But how.. he waited to see.. and give her time to move before he moved in closer.

Chilali plodded along, sniffing the air every now and again. She hadn't seen anyone, but something was near. Though far off, she swore she could smell others. That sort of development made her pause for a moment. Did she really want to be confronted with a crowd? Possibly. The monochrome leopard usually did well when confronted with others. Usually. Chilali rolled her shoulders, shrugging to herself.

Then in the instant that she stopped. He did as well then when she continued he growled.. then rushed out of the bushes with another snarl as though prouding her away from the place.. Hissing.. as his claws came out to show aggression but deep down.. There was nothing that angered Bugie at the moment... Just the fact that he would MAKE her run off.. or drag her away if she didn't wanna be confronted with making a living in the pride.. He lowered himself.. "What are you doing here." He snorted.

Chilali stopped immdiatedly, and stepped back a step or two. She really should've seen this coming, as earlier, she'd smelt someone around. Though, she hadn't put two and two together that perhaps that other was a guard or something. Chilali tried to compose herself the best that she could.. which wasn't all that well. " ..I do not mean to intrude. I merely caught whiff of thers, and thought I could enjoy some brief company. I'm alone much of the time in the wetlands.. "

He growled... but then he lifted his body. "This company. I don't think you'd enjoy." He stopped and lifted his head. "Shuuu." He said quickly as he snagged a whiff of another. It had to be another guard to he rushed at her and headbutted her side. "Lets go. Move it~" Nudging to next to her. "We have to get at least some far away to talk~ or if you dont want to be captured." He looked at her.. serious.. But almost as if he was a knight in shining armor with the kindness he showed in his eyes.. but serious. "Lets go." Pushing her side.

Chilali wasn't expecting the headbutt to her side. Truthfully, she hadn't expected such an encounter at all. But, you live, you learn. Right? It had knocked her slightly off balance, she quickly regained it. Though, being slightly clumsy in the process. The leopardess started to move, even before the male nudged her. Capture? Seriously? Was that merely a trick? Perhaps not, given the serious gaze she'd gotten from her company. Though, for all she knew, he could merely be tricking her. But.. that wasn't something that was something worth finding out.

When she started moving.. It gave him reason to get behind her and warp around. Giving out a, what sounded like a howl. [ to back off ]. As he looked back and darted after her.. and when they got to a safe distance.. he made another sweep before setting off to see her and seeking her out. "Not that you were close- nor far. But you were in territory of a place you shouldn't be. Unless you want to. I can't speak of it.. for it can't be spoken about. Its either you come and get captured and dragged in. Or flee." He looked at her~ getting in bounds of her to speak and be heard. "What exactly did you want out of the company of others.." He saw now a little softer. "I apologize for hurrying you by the way." he shurgged it off.

" It's alright. You.. had your reasons. " Chilali got a good look at the male with her. " I don't get to meet others. This has been the first since.. hm. " The leopardess sat on her haunches daintily, but ready to sprint if need be. Thinking, mulling over past memories. " Probably since I was ..atleast an adolescent. " Chilali sighed a little, " I am sorry to have intruded upon pridal land. "

He nodded to her. Now that his kindness had rended him defenseless on several occassions and the fact that Basha was still out there. It hurt.. and in so he became just a stronger being altogether. One that wouldnt just so kind kind kind on the first meet. More. One cautious but in the middle. "I'm sorry you have been alone." He sympathized. He had taken a close care with a cheetah female within the pridal lands just because she had almost the same alone synthoms. He slowly sat only a few feet from her. Heeving.. "Its quite alright.. Its the fact of being dragged in without will.. is why I chased you here. Now you have a chance to go if you choose. If not.." He looked away from her. "I have time to spare~ so at least you don't have to be alone for too long." He tried a light smile.

This Pride he was a part of, seemed rather mysterious. What was it that they did that was so secretive? Was it so different than what other prides did? Although, she'd only heard of what ranks reside within a pride. She'd never been a part of one, let alone really spoken to a lion before. Chilali smiled a little, " It would be nice to have your company for awhile. "

He didn't mean to stir the suspicion..neither did he mean the curiosity of the other to peak at what the pride did.. No. He couldn't tell and it was a secret that he swore himself to. But he didn't expect for the female to be so inviting..

" It would be nice to have your company for awhile. "

Those words sounded so impish.. yet soft.. and convincing.. And he was the one to be manipulated so easily but such words of lonesome hood and of sad stories.. "In....my company?" He questioned.. His head tilting ever so slightly as his ears went full to hear for the answer.. He hadn't heard it being used so inviting, unlike the girls of the pride where they would spend the night of tales as you fell for each one. He, hadn't- for he was usually on guard or monitoring the outside world for the purpose of the pride. Mana was... quite the opposite to him. Nyoka's right hand man was usually in the company of others to learn and examine them in every way while Bugie had no time to even learn most of the members names. But he knew that were 'family' or so he called them in his head. The kind Bugie. The strong one now.. but still the evil dark bugie lurked inside him..

Like a genie waiting to be released from the bottle. He wouldn't mind sleeping around where as Bugie was shy..and probably would detest it for the purpose that it was not Basha... but as he was now.. broken. He could be swayed so easily.

Chilali smiled softly and nodded. " Of course, your company, silly. " Her black tail curled around her feet. She sat down daintily onto her haunches. Comfortable and girly. Was it so surprising for the male? Or was he merely not used to being in female company? If he was always on patrol, than any of those thoughts could apply. A shame, since he didn't look too bad. And he was rather cute.

Astounded by her pin pointing him out.. He blushed.. and looked away. "I don't.. think anyone has just wished...my presense upon them. Only my brothers and sister. Where I don't exactly feel even worthy of their presense as they truly look like our kind." His voice trying to be regal but still one that guarded and patroled. His tail padding.. he hadn't looked but when he did.. she was defiantly distinct in color. Where he could not really put how pretty she really was. "So what does.. one do with company.. I'm not sure since I'm rarely in another's except for being the patrol and guide. But i am a good listener to stories..If you have one to share..?" Looking more like a cub with his facial features.. Innocent and would follow like a cub would to its mother.

Chilali tilted her head slightly, exposing her neck which seemed long because of the dark colour of her pelt. Her tail flicked, but remained curled around her monochromatic feet. " Well, that entirely depends. " Which it usually did. Some would take the hint, while others, not so much. Since it seemed that her company didn't seem to be around others all that often, perhaps he wouldn't get what she meant. Perhaps anyway. Maybe deep down he'd get it. " Hmm, stories, eh? " Chilali put on a thinking face and searched her memories. When was the last time she'd heard a story..?

"Depends?" He was just about hanging on her every word by this point.. and padded his tail excitedly. "Stories.. if your willing to share. I know thats how some pass the time together.. but yea know.. you could always tell me about yourself?" Tilting his head and lowering his body to that of laying up. But always ready for a run if he HAD to. Always aware.. "Its.. easier listening then telling one."

Chilali laid down near by the male, hoping that this wasn't pushing her luck. It would rather stink if the first male she'd come across for awhile ran off. That would really make her feel unattractive. She's was already black and grey and nothing special. Unlike others she'd seen with bright colouring on their pelts. Chilali envied them sometimes. ' Sometimes ' being more often then it should be. " It's been a long time since I've even heard a story. I can barely remember the ones from when I was a cub. " Her ear twitched. She felt sort of bad about that. She used to love hearing those stories and now,, the memories were so faded. " Oh? .. I don't know that you'd want to hear about boring lil' me. "

He sighed.. hearing that she couldn't remember one.. it was a shame.. but then she laid closer to him. His face got shocked for a moment and his ears up and his face lit like a christmas tree.. But he tried to look as though he wasn't nervous. Females were always so much 'closer' to others and they found their way in any nook and cranny. That he knew. Maybe she was lonely and thats why she wanted to be so close. Nodding to himself for confirmation. All systems go. "Boring? I think everyone has .. a story.. maybe not of your childhood.. but maybe just about yourself.. or .. like where you came from. "

Chilali got a little shy for a moment, which really couldn't be helped. Though, it was odd that it occurred now, and not before. But, perhaps it was because she just felt sorta comfy with this male. " I usually hang around the wetlands. It's.. sorta of like here but.. more wet. " The leopardess chuckled. " The story of my life is sad and lonely. ..I wouldn't want to depress you with it. "

Wetlands. He thought about it.. The only places he was were grasslands and lush lands. Now the crater home his family was now. "Wetlands.. well you could-" Bugie's face just changed completely. Again.. hanging by her every word. "No.. no~! I don't mind.. you can tell me! I don't think I heard a story that wasn't at all happy.. there is always sad times.. and good times. I don't mind really.." He got closer to her and pushed her shoulder with his snout encouragingly. "At .. least your not lonely now.. See. You know me.. or.. err.. Sorry.. I don't even remember if I said my name.. I think I just got distracted. My name is Bugie.. so now you know." Nodding confidently.

" Ah, forgive my manners. I'm Chilali. " The leopardess gained a slight blush from Bugie's encouraging nudge. " Well, that is true. I'm not alone right now.. " Chilali looked at the ground, fiddling with some of the lush grass that she was laying on. Her black flipping around, then curling, settling on something that she figured was a rock or something. " My parents had me later in their lives. So, when I was growing up, I had to face the reality that they'd die while I was still young. " her silver eyes glanced over to Bugie for a second. " ..I thought that maybe they'd go naturally. But..When I was on a hunt to get food, since.. they were too old to do it themselves.. " Her sentence trailed off, and Chilali rested her head onto her paws for a moment, then shifted a little before looking at Bugie. " ..I came back to the den, and some lions had killed them and were gorrging themselves on my parents' bodies. When they spotted me, I dropped my kill and ran as fast as I could. I climbed the tallest tree I came across and stayed there until they left me alone. "

He slowly moved closer as the tale continued.. he felt so horrid by the act. It was why Nyoka didn't let lions in. It was a miracle that ONE was there.. but she was teh lowest of teh low and kept in so much check that she would die with a mistaken leading to a hurt of a member. When she looked at him.. he was quite intrigued and almost appauled and sad at when she must have been through.. His ears down to his face. Why must every story be sad.. it was horriable! And if it was a lie he would probably have believed it just the same. "Thats.. so sad. Scary a bit- I'm glad you made it." Absorbed with her.. as he lightly put his tail on top of hers. looking at her with such innocently sad eyes.. "The way you must have felt.." His voice low as he lowered his head.

Chilali felt something on her tail, but didn't move it. She nodded a little, though her head was still on her paws. " .. it still hurts. Not long before that incident, I'd lost my Grandmother too. ..I'm still not entirely sure what was wrong with her though. " And looking back, she still didn't really know. The leopardess didn't even know if her Grandfather was still alive, either. " ..She got really thin suddenly and couldn't eat. ..So Gramma basically starved to death. " That also brought some pain, but that pain was always there. Just like with her parents. " I was close to my Mother and Grandmother.. "

His head lowered in to hers.. to hear all that she was saying then to lose a grandparent. He never knew his grandparents. His mother cheetah never really showed or told of her line of family. They didn't know their father yet the head of the pack back then tried to be their father. Tried to shun Bugie away from his mother because he was different looking. But this was on another level.. Softly, he turned to affectionate since that was probably the only thing he felt that he could do. A loss that big was too much to say in words .. so. He licked her cheek and ear in a grooming like fashion before nuzzling her lightly.. "I'm sorry."

Chilali got a little chocked up from the affectionate actions of the male with her. She'd hoped it was only noticeable to herself, and didn't want to alarm Bugie. Though, his affections were very welcome. Chilali scootched over closer to Bugie, and nuzzled back. She never usually talked about her past, because she didn't like making others sad. ..Not that she came across many others anyhow. But, this made her feel a little better. " ..It's okay. I know they're watching and protecting me fromt he next world. " Chilali nipped Bugie's ear playfully and then nuzzled his neck.

Now knowing apart of her didn't make it awkward for him. He was affectionate towards his family and her sharing the story with him. It felt like he too accepted her. But something felt weird and he pulled back to look down at her as he rose his head.. Thoughs words.. he smiled.. and of course let her n** his ear and nuzzle against him. As though it was his very sister or mother doing it. "My mother used to say the same thing." He said. Almost marveling at her memory. She died naturally.. though it was hard on them all. Softly smiling.." Maybe we have that in common then. Stranger. "
