It was the appointed hour and the dark skinned woman had found her way to the store front that the merchant had directed her to. With luck she would be able to make this a fast deal. She disliked this merchant. Something about him didn't sit right with her. After knocking the door opened and Otiian ushered the woman into the shop so they could further talk about the painting she wanted to see.

-After departure from Roman he was on his own with this one which he much preferred as intresting enough this involved one of his paintings. It didn't take much to follow the old blood and the scent of the one that trailed with it and he kept to himself as he walked casually along the street boarders with his bottom face covered and his cloak huging close. he gazed at the store fron that the woman walked into and he looked around to see if any small detail was out of place. Oddly enough he looked around the building to see if he could pick of sounds of voices that were from the inside the store to see if an entrance was needed or not.-

Apparently Otiian was a little paranoid about his store because white the lights were on in the windows no sound managed to leak out into the night air. That material over the windows made silhouette barely distinguishable. Gaining entrance could be possible through one of the five windows or the back door but if the merchant was paranoid enough to find a way to keep sound in what did he do to keep thieves out?

-Micheal eyes narrowed as he continued to look upon the building avoiding the windows by staying below them. 'was this worth the effort?' he walked carefully to the back door and looked at every crack along the door frame then he thought 'what would be the worse possibility out of this.' he then looked up at the fifth window and wonder how little noise he could make with shoes on if he hopped up to it and tried to get in.-

The fifth window was pitch dark as was the back door. The sound of a window, the second window to be exact, being opened broke the silence from the place. "...want air. I leave if this window closes." The woman's voice drifted out of the now open window. "Alright. Have it your way." Otiian's voice came out then but he didn't sound too happy about it. "Now about this painting..." "I see it before I buy." The woman said. "But if I buy you get good price."

-He shifted a smirk under his mask as fortune came when the window open he walked quetly so he was just close enough to the window and leaned against the wall while closing his eyes so he could focuse more on listening to everything that his ears could pick up 'wonder how many this owner has or is it just one, or how many she has and if she has noticed at all.'-

"Here." Otiian unveiled something from the sound of fabric being lifted. "An original. It cost me a..." He stopped suddenly in the middle of his sentance and there was a pause. "Fake. You have a real one. Show it." "I take it you have seen his work before..." Otiian said sounding more nervous and unhappy. "I collect. Try to con again and I collect something other then painting."
"No need for threats. I was just testing you." Otiian said moving further from the door and then he grunted in effort in getting the real painting. "This is what you want right?" "How much you want?" The woman's voice said.

'Fakes, who would go through so much trouble to do so.' -that was a thought that did not come across his thoughts till now and it irritated him more, his paintings were supose to be one of a kind of the souls, and beatuty he captured and destroied.- "Can't even..." -he stopped when he realized he growled out loud those words. It was another moment when he thought 'who was this woman again to reconize art with in seconds?' 'how much of a problem is this going to be now with a collector such as her?'

"It must be worth a lot to you if you let me name the price." Otiian said amused. "I could take it. I give you a chance." The woman said and then there was a pause before the heavy thunk of a bag of coins hit a table surface. "Enough?" the woman said and the merchant laughed a little. "I will keep you in mind in case I acquire another of these. Just out of curiosity why does it mean so much to you?" "Family matter." Was the short answer. "Shall I have it delivered to your inn then?"

-Once talk started again he focused on the words exchanged again. He looked around breifly to make sure one part of the conversation didn't come from another location finding any excuse to make that statement untrue, but it was clear that it was exactly what he heard. He thought about it carefully now, 'How careful was this woman? He didn't have much time to study her at the tavern nor any clues about her gave much away other than it seemed she traveled alone.' -he pulled his mask down as he licked his fangs to tuck them more behind his lips and waited to hear her answer before he decided on anything.-

"I take it now." The woman said in answer to the merchant's question. "Very well then. I shall wrap it so it doesn't get damaged." Otiian offered. "In front of me. I will not be cheated." She said and it caused Otiian to sigh. "Of course. I will get the paper from the back room." A light went on in the fifth window and shortly, after the sound of paper being shuffled around, they spoke again. "There. Wrapped for your journey. Do you need an escort? I know you came alone." Otiian offered. "No. This is fine." She said and then the voices grew softer. The bell that was on the front door tinkled meaning that the woman had stepped out into the streets with her purchase.

-The decision was made as he ran out of the alley turning right into her while calling with his hand cupped around his mouth- "Rex... ooftp" -he bumped right into her and then fell to the ground on his arse like a perfect innocent human would do he checked himself. - "oh my... I am so sorry, I hope I didn't damage anything."

The woman staggered a little and then checked to make sure the painting was in tact before looking at the one who ran into her. The painting seemed safe enough for the moment. "Hope not either. You might have to pay if damaged." Her accent was a little thicker in person. She even set the paper wrapped image down to peel back part of the covering to make sure it was still alright. "Rex who?"

-He looked at the size of the painting and then looked at her, and then got up straightening his cuffs and carefully spoke.- "I am sure I could affored any damages done considering it's just a item." -he then looked at her and paused before he speaking again.- "Rex is my dog he has been missing for a few days now and.... well what do you care it's not your problem now is it?" -he placed his eyes down looking at the ground makeing sure no things were knocked loose to the ground. then readjusted his coins tighter on his belt just running though the whole chrade for the sake of looking human, it's been awhile since he had to go this much in detail about it.-

"Must be white dog." The woman said as she lifted the painting again and looked at him. "Strange looking for dog at night." She looked around a little seeing if she picked up anything.
