the only part i remember is when he was trying to keep maka from being harmed, i forgot the attackers name, probabl free the immortal or something sweatdrop

When Maka met Crona for the first time in the old Church Soul was protecting Maka at the last minute and got slashed by Crona.

it was about episode 7 or 8, maka had sensed a soul while she and soul were on a mission in italy (i hope i'm getting these facts right...haven't seen this part in a while...plus it was eng dub) and she met chrona. the door only opens inward and maka was trpped, unable to attck because of the black blood, she kept trying to defend but didn't want to because she found out that ragnarok could harm soul even in his weapon form. maka was freaking out and soul said to defend herself cuz his job was to protect his meister. she wouldn't defend herself when chrona attacked and soul went to his human form to block maka...u know what i don't get? stein comes in to save the day and says something along the lines of "he's in bad shape, we need to get him help-fast" then turns around and spends the rest of the episode fighting...then they decide to finally move and help soul...oh well, good entertainment!!! augh!! must work on shorter posts!!!
