It was the middle of the night and a sneaky little kitty had gone EXPLORING. Somehow, she'd managed to get out of the house while everyone was sleeping and fly around in the dark, looking for people to play with. It was a scary and surprising trip - she'd never been away from home without Mommy!
Frequently, she'd crashed into trees and bushes and stuff till she'd ended up at the doorway of a very familiar home. The toddler was a bit winded, flying hard into the doorway and making a loud thump. But hey, she'd made it to Kaito's house!

Bright eyes peeked around the corner. So far it looked like everyone was too busy with stuff to notice him. A triumphant grin flashed the boy's fangs as he slipped down the stone wall with the shadows as ropes. Though it did feel weird to be slipping away without his twin. Kaito frowned, he really hadn't wanted to bother her though 'specially since they were talking girly stuff. Eww. No way was he gonna sit through that!
A loud thump crashed through his thoughts and made the toddler drop the rest of the way down with surprise. "Eh?!" He hissed in the dark and blinked until his eyes focused. What had made that noise? The dogs and other pets were kept on the other side of their home...so what was it?
Peering around Kaito grinned as he recognized the shape. "Hey! Hey!" With a happy whistle the toddler jumped from the shadows and tackled Cookie. "What are you doing here?"

Cookie mewed happily and hugged her friend. She'd found Kaito! "Visit!" she declared conspiratorially - how does one do that anyway? The girl curled her tail and smiled brightly, rubbing noses with Kaito in a playful manner.
"Sneaky?"

"Visit?" Kaito grinned happily, "Ya remembered me!" He laughed softly - not many he knew of would come to visit his home willingly. Then again Cookie probably didn't know his family that well yet. The toddler almost flushed at the contact before he pulled back.
"Sne-sneaky? You?" He peered around in the dark with a grin. She was alone! Like him. Kaito laughed, "Me sneaky too!" His tail twitched as he listened for noise and tugged gently at Cookie as he led her away from the doorway.

The girl nodded and mewed again before being pulled away. Sneaky sneaky! No getting caught! "Sneaky." she agreed quietly again.
"Boing boing?" if they flew away, they could escape!

Kaito grinned at the suggestion. "Boing?" He repeated softly as he scanned the area one last time before darting into the open and back around to another side of the castle. "We could. Buh we'd have to be careful."
His grin flashed white in the darkness as he looked back at Cookie, "Wanna do it?"

Cookie nodded profusely and stretched out so he could climb on her back. When he was ready, she lifted her body with her arms, slamming herself down once before bouncing, bouncing again and they were OFF! Zooming through the night sky, wind in their hair.
"Boing."

"Whee!" Kaito screamed into the night air - quietly of course. Soon enough his playful screams turned into laughter as flying took its hold on him. He'd nearly forgotten how fun playing with Cookie was!
He just hoped that the shadows behaved this time. Though it had been fun Kaito remembered how scary that place could be. With a shiver the toddler hugged tighter to Cookie. "Fasta?" He asked with a mischievous grin.

The kitten blinked but nodded, pulling her arms into her chest and diving forward, body stretched out straight. "Down. Lay down." she told him, trying to make them more sleek and aerodynamic as they zoomed.

"Kay." Leaning forward Kaito pressed himself tight against Cookie and stretched out as far as he could. Even his little demon tail which normally stuck out at an odd angle was lying straight against his left leg. Closing his eyes the toddler enjoyed the chilled night wind that rustled around them in the sky.

The pair zoomed around for a while in the cold winds before Cookie started to feel tired. She was going to falter and crash soon, so it was time to get her friend up. "Kaito up! Kaito off near ground." she instructed, trying to be clear in her directions.

Kaito frowned at Cookie. He didn't want to get off. "Why?" He nearly pouted before realizing that Cookie must be tired. The toddler looked down at the ground before swallowing. He wasn't a scaredy cat, but...suddenly Kaito grinned.
"I gots it!" The toddler laughed as he let go of Cookie and dropped, "Cookie follow!" A shadow cast by the clouds started to swallow Kaito while he reached towards Cookie to get her to follow him.

The kitten didn't have much choice but to follow, falling down into the shadow after her friend and yawning a bit. "Tired cookie crash."

Kaito reached out for Cookie before the shadow closed and the two went tumbling. In the shadows Kaito could barely see but somehow he managed to reach out in time to be able to roll back into the outside world with Cookie.
With a small yell Kaito went tumbling down a small hill that was behind his home. "Cooookie!" The name turned into a fit of laughter as he landed on a pile of moss and grasses.

Cookie made a noise somewhat like 'wumph!' when she hit the ground by her friend, face first in the moss. The kitten sat up after a minute, some of the green stuff poking out of her mouth as she chewed on it, curious about the flavor.
