The vice captain's office is a large airy room with two big windows. It has a large table and chair, which is always covered with files and paperwork.
The room also contains bookshelves, a large comfy sofa and a coffee table.
The vice captain can be found here most of the time.

Kaede entered the office and closed the door behind her. she smiled and threw herself on the large comfy sofa. She just came back after meeting her captain. It had been a very short meeting but she was happy at least she could meet him in person.
She looked at the huge pile of paper work on the table and made a face. why do I have to do so much paper work? She thought. I'll do it later. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the quiet, drifting into sleep.

Kaede woke up to find herself in an awkward position on the sofa. She got up and stretched and then looked around. ' whoa I'm glad no one saw me like that... it would've been embarrassing' She gave out a small embarrassed laugh. Finally after a quick fresh up, she looked at her table, still covered with all sorts of paper work. She sighed and walked towards her table. "I guess I should finish this paper work now.. so that this place looks a little tidy. She sat at the desk and started to read and fill the papers.

Kaede yawned and stretched. She smiled as she looked at all the sorted, signed and checked paper work. She sighed and got up, moving and straightened her uniform. She looked outside, the sun had set and it was dark. The lights had been lit and it looked very beautiful. 'wow... today was such a good day.' she smiled and fell back on the sofa.

 A knock came on the door outside of the Lieutenants quarters. A strange voice with a greek accent spoke, "Lieutenant var you there?" Altair spoke to the door in a response a voice would return allowing him inside to visit.

Kaede jumped as she heard the knock on the door. The voice was a new and strange one and she couldn't help but smirk at the weird accent. She sat up and cleared her throat and then went to open the door herself. " um.... yes.. hello come in. She looked at the unfamiliar face and put on her best smile.

Altair walked in and took a seat, "I take it you have not heard the ill news have you?" His fingers looped together as he leaned his forehead down, "Ryuta Kyoya finished his duty as the vessel and granted the Soul King full power. Doing so The Goddess of Hueco Mundo killed him. I have transferred from the Greek Realm to fill in for his leave. In the Greek Area I am ranked number two of the kings, but here I cannot replace a king so I took this spot." Altair pulled out a captain's coat and put it on. "From now on I am your new captain Altair Faustus." His pale blue eyes and pale blonde hair glowed for a small moment as he said his name. "I do hope you have no objections to this. If you do than get over it or quit." His voice was stern and blunt getting right to the point.

Kaede looked as Altair came in and sat down. She followed him and took her seat as well. Wondering who this new person was, she analyzed him from head to toe. He certainly had an arrogant air around him, the kind Kaede wasn't very fond of.
Soon he began to speak. The news he brought fell like lightning on her. Her eyes widened and her mind went blank. Captain Ryuta?....killed?...
She only watched silently as this man introduced himself as her new captain and put on the captain's coat.
Captain Ryuta... if only I was there... I wish I could have done something to help....She felt like she would cry, but she wouldn't show such weakness in front of Altair.
The bluntness of his voice really made Kaede angry. Her eyes could clearly show the displeasure she was feeling right now, but she decided to control her feelings of dislike and spoke, keeping her voice calm and under control. I have no objections sir... I will try to do my best under your command.

Diesel stepped into the doorway, not entering, holding Stefan in his arms as he looked for Altair "Altair. You're the head captain now so I think you should call a meeting of the captains to let them know whats happened." he nodded politely to the Vice captain and Stefan was busy with a piece of paper, folding it over and over.

Kaede looked at the door. She had heard another voice. A man came in addressing Altair. She bowed respectfully. She didn't exactly know who this person was but she could feel that he was someone of a high rank.

"Diesel Wilhelm. A pleasure." Diesel returned the bow slightly and Stefan waved brightly, smiling broadly at the woman. He wiggled in his father's arms and Diesel sighed, setting the small boy down so he could stand on his own.

"I'm Kaede Hayashi, nice to meet you Wilhelm san." Kaede smiled and waved back at the child. " Hello and what is your name? She smiled and asked the small boy.
