Zerachiel was rather pleased with himself and actually had been enjoying the time he had been spending with Kanti. giving a toss of his mane, he had gotten up early to get a drink and then return to Kanti since they where still traveling companions. grinning, he came to the entry to their cave they been staying in and spoke in his most charming voice. "you awake yet Kanti dear?" oh how he loved to rile her a bit by calling her dear when they where not mates. but little did he know that he was going to have one hell of a morning.

She could feel a tremble in her stomach, something was moving causing her to feel uneasy almost sick like. Her eyes narrowed as the stallion outside of the cave greeted her with the typical sweet words that made her ears cringe but today she didn’t feel like arguing with him. Instead she felt like doing nothing, not moving, not arguing, speaking, even more she just felt extremely hungry. To make her hunger worse she had been gaining weight quickly, she could see the round bulge poke out from each side and it created more of a sinking feeling in her body. What was wrong with her?
“Leave me alone Zer.” She replied sending a small hiss across the cave letting it echo, “I’m in no mood today.”

Zerachiel raised a brow at how he was just hissed at and giving a pretty moody response to his charming words. snorting, he wondered why the hell she been so moody as of late. it was not as if he was purposely trying to piss her off or make her in a foul mood. "what's up with you?" coming closer to her, he wanted to find out why she been so overly snappy. "something going on?" wrinkling his muzzle, he knew something was off about her and had been for a while now.

Her eyes narrowed as she looked at him, for once he seemed even more lost of her bitter mood swings. Usually he took them in stride thinking she was playing but lately her temper was even worse and she knew it. A sigh escaped her lips as she looked at him again and back at the edge of the cave.
"I'm fat." Kanti replied not looking at him. Sure he would say something amusing about her thinking she was fat or say something like she wasn't or so forth but she knew she was fat. It was too obvious. The only time she had someone seen gain so much wait was... her mother. But no that couldn't be right.

well crap, what was he suppose to do to help her when all she was going to say was she was fat. in his mind he wanted to bang his head against the wall, with how her damn mood swings where driving him up the wall. "oh come on don't be saying stuff like that." frowning, he didn't really know what else to say since he never had to deal with anyone having mass mood swings and weird weight gain suddenly. " is that the only thing bothering you?" god he felt like such a damn fool, trying to make her feel better. but it was his fault he got to close to kanti and now had feelings for her. "if there is something i can do..." metaly banging his head, things where not suppose to be like this with her all snappy and gaining weight.

Kanti’s blue eyes stared at him before looking towards the cave wall and back again, no her being fat wasn’t what was bothering her it was why she was fat that was having a slow mental sinking problem. She wasn’t ready, there was no way in hell she wanted kids and to all of the sudden wake up one morning realizing her stomach was heavy and that something kicked at the sides and pushed into her ribs was frightening. She raised a brow as she thought about her mother… was she ready? She had already had all three different pregnancies each with lovely kids but what about her first batch? No, she probably was ready, the difference was Cyrus by her side wasn’t it, meanwhile she had… well despite caring about him he wasn’t her mate. Not officially and he despite being the father he could escape running like the hills were on fire, leaving her dealing with kids on her own.
Omg kids…………………. She was not mother material far from it; she had no idea how to raise foals let alone what she was even supposed to do with them. Her mother always knew what to do or say but she had even the hardest time watching her younger siblings. Shaking her head she didn’t know what to let alone even what to say, to her mom, to herself, or even the stallion that was standing in front of her.
“No Zer, that’s not all that is bothering me it’s the sinking feeling of why I’m fat that is bothering me, as for you helping me I don’t know what you can do….” She replied looking at him her brows knotted with worry.

Zer was now pretty worked up himself and now was having a sinking feeling of his own. it now all was making sense and its not like he had never known a mare that had been preggo before, since he had been a adult when his grandfather Rahu had foals again with his grandmother Aruna. he was not prepared or ready for foals ether and had no clue what in the hell to do. his mother and father where going to kill him when they found out he was having kids with someone he was not lifemated to. " Kanti.........you can tell me anything. not like i'm gonna up a run off when we been companions for this long." he wanted her to confirm what he was now suspecting since it would make him seem like an a** to assume.

Kanti’s face still remained with her brows knotted in a rather tense expression, whatever she was about to say was sure to be painful regardless of how many times she said it over and over in her head. She could have surprised him with a “hey Zer you want kids” but that sounded like the stupidest thing she could do to someone like him, not saying anything was just as stupid though. Her tongue was in a knot and she could feel her throat growing dry her lips felt numb never had anything in her life felt so difficult to do, a tear almost started to slide down her cheek before she sucked the air back down her thoart.
Her eyes remind pinned themselves to the ground, “Zer……. I don’t know how to say this….. but I’m sure, really sure that this is something big that you may or may not want to be around for… so before I say anything I really need to know if this is something you want to stay for or walk away from because if you can’t I don’t want to put the thought worry or concern into your head. I would feel better if you just simply walked away from it then know about it and refuse to do anything to help.”

Zer defiantly was shocked and a bit hurt by her words she spoke to him. he huffed a bit a bit insulted she would think he would just walk away from something like this. wrinkling his muzzle, he then softly nosed at her. " only reason i would walk off is if you told me you never wanted me around, but even then i probably would still be around because I'm stubborn like that. i wont be like those other idiots who would walk away when things get tough."

"Zer.." Kanti remained pausing as her breath lingered in her lungs, the pain nestling deep in her chest as the words she was trying to squeeze out refused to budge from her throat. She could feel his warm breath as he nosed at her, though she knew he was only trying to make her feel better she only felt worse on the inside.
"Zer........ I'm pregant." She said her eyes darting at him and then to the ground she couldn't look at at this point. It was like facing her mother as a foal and telling her she broke something and had to face a scolding, except this was still worse. She would have traded a thousand scoldings from her mother than to say what she had.
