I'm not too excited for the theme cause it's kinda old school (John Williams.. Star Trek... Robin Hood.. Blah.) but, it'll be my senior year. YES!

Not too much.
Our show is Dante's Inferno, which I'm kinda interpreting as an unintentional metaphor to what the band has fallen into. Our program's kind-of a mess right now due to financial struggles and an unwillingness to make things work. And on top of that, we have no strong student voices, not that section leaders or drum majors have much power anymore anyway. : Not to mention our freshmen class is going to be the most obnoxious ever. @___@
I hope it's not bad though... Time will tell.

I'm excited, but nervous at the same time. Our show sounds awesome, but I've been having a lot of physical problems lately (bad ankle, bad knee, really tight muscles that make marching horrible plainful)...so time will tell. Not sure if I'll get drum major or not, either, but if I don't, then I guess I'll just stretch a lot more than two times a day (which is what I normally do), get a knee and ankle brace, and take lots of pain meds...nothing like vicodin, of course. xd

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance...
I AM SO PUMPED FOR MARCHING SEASON TO START UP!
Seriously, I'm really bored and need some physical exercise.
... In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace, what did they produce? The cuckoo clock.

I'm so tired of waiting for marching season, but we don't start practice until July-ish... After being crippled all last season (hurt my knee) I can't wait to get back into it. I'm so out of shape now though XD

Me toooo. Marching band is my only form of exercise. I'm sure I'll be getting more of it this season too, our new DM seems really tough and he'll probably have us march pregame like three times a day. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is it being my last season as I'm graudating college ;_;
