T'was a lovely spring day out in the grasslands. The birds were singing, the flowers were in bloom, and the noodles of the land were having the time of their lives. A rather small sized noodle had woke from the sun's rays hitting it's face. The small orange colored noodle yawned after waking for it's sleep. It was a female noodle that goes by Kitsune. She loved to have a relaxing sleep under a shady tree. " Good morning Sun!" She said aloud happily. She enjoyed tell the sun good morning and the moon good night.
Kitsune was alone under that tree. She had no family and no real place to call home. Nature was her home since she could remember. She had met a very kind noodle by the name of Maelios. She enjoyed his company as much as she enjoyed nature. " Can't wait to see him again. I wonder how Maelios has been since I last saw him? She had asked him to have a loving day with her.

Maelios let out a long breath as he stepped out from the shop into the soft spring sun. It was a rather lovely day, and hopefully for once the usually calm and quiet noodle could find something to do, perhaps for once even putting aside his nature and finding something he actually enjoyed. Though he had to admit that that was an adventure all too himself. He would prefer helping the noodle he had come out here for. Kitsune... she was a rather cute fox, though he was saddened by the fact that she seemed to never quite think enough of herself. Perhaps some day she would, perhaps he could help her with that.
Smiling, he continued his venture forth, looking for that very vixen, she couldn't be far, could she? "Kitsune? Are you there?" His call echoed toward the trees.

Kitsune's ears moved around to find the source of the voice. "Is that Maelios?" She asked her self as she rose to her feet. She shook her body to be rid of any unwanted bugs or grass sticking to her fur. She trotted out into the open to see if she could spot the blue and orange fox.

Maelios mused, looking around for a while as he continued to call her name. Suddenly, he stopped. Hearing a small voice on the wind, a smile came to his face and he began to sprint in that direction, "Kitsune! There you are. I thought I might be lost.." Laughing at himself, he scratched the back of his head in nervousness.

Kitsune smiled with a little wave to Maelios. " I'm sorry, should have given you a better place to meet up." She apologized as her tail swished behind her. She giggled at Maelios' sign of nervousness. " I'm happy that we could have a relaxing day together. How've you been since I last saw you?" She asked as she motioned him to follow her back to her shady tree.

"Umm... fine I guess. Been sort of bored. Most of my housemates have been rather busy, except Aianii... but she's been... avoiding most all contact these days. Its given me too much time to myself, I can't really say that I like that at all." Giving a quick frown at his contemplation, he shook his head and followed her paw steps. "How about you?" Stopping near the tree, his eyes ventured upward, taking in the many leaves that were swaying in the breeze.

" Been enjoying the spring life among the plains. Don't get any visitors out here." Kitsune told Maelios as she sat under the tree. She up rooted a small daisy that she began to pull the petals off one by one. " good day, bad day... good day, bad day... Looks like it's going to be a good day or says the flowers." She told Mael as one petal was left on the flower. She usually did this to determine how her day would turn out.

Maelios tilted his head to one side to get a better look at what she was doing. He hadn't quite expected that, his brow furrowing slightly in what he couldn't tell was interest or curiosity. "The flowers can determine that?" He wasn't quite sure what to believe on the matter for he could tell (or thought) she quite believed it. He couldn't decide if he should just accept it or find it strange. Regardless of the fact though, he did find it oddly... mesmerizing. He had never met anyone with such a quirk, and it was a little endearing in a strange way.

" Well flowers can't actually tell how the day goes by. It's just my way to see if it'll stay that way or not." Kitsune explained as she held the most picked flower. She pointed to the last petal as she told Maelios that their day was going to be a good one with no or very little problems in it. "I pick the flower petals as a way to know the outcome of the day. I'd guess most foxes would find it very strange." She said with a slight frown as she picked the last petal off, tossing the petal-less flower.

"Its.. definitely different. Not that its a bad thing." He gave her a quick smile to try and reassure her, leaning his head over to nudge her with his nose. "Its... kind of cute." He blushed at his own words but said nothing else as he moved from her side, glancing out at what laid before him. "So then... what are we going to do today?"

Kitsune blushed a little at Maelios' kind words of encouragement. " Well we could always explore the plains, go down to the lake for a swim, or have a relaxing snack by the lake side." She suggested as she rose to her feet. She shook off any unwelcome guests on her lovely orange fur coat. She looked at Maelios with a smile," you are my guest so you can pick!" She said to him then nudged him with her nose.

"Well umm..." He took a long moment to think it over, almost pushing it on her to pick... like he usually would. But instead, he took a deep breath and mustered up the courage to actually do something. "How about we do all three? We could find a snack to take with us to the lake... and hang out there, and explore the area after swimming, or if you're set on exploring the plains we could do so after hanging out at the lake, if its not too late?" He looked at her while saying this, hoping he was suggesting something bad.

Kitsune smiled with a nod to Maelios' suggestion. " Sounds like a great idea! There's some berry plants by the lake, wild carrots in the bushes near there, and we can always try to catch a wild chicken for dinner." she suggested as she tried to think of more foods that were close by. She knew how to make some good fire cooked chicken, but it was usually something that involves another person to help. She stretched a bit with a small yawn. She walked around the area a bit to see if there was anything else she was forgetting. " Well... we can also star gaze when the sun goes down. It's a rather nice view to look at when heading off to bed. There might be a full moon tonight, Maelios." She offered since she loved to look up at the stars before she went to sleep.

Maelios thought for a moment, "Sounds good." Though he had never caught anything wild before, he wasn't sure how to go about it. Though, chicken did sound good. He wondered if he could bluff the ability to hunt, though he knew he'd make a fool of himself. "Star gaze?" At the sound of this his ears perked up and a smile grew on his face. "It sounds fun, I'd love that." He knew he had never admitted to her that star gazing was one of the few things he actually enjoyed on his free time. "So... where should we begin? Should we gather up the carrots first?" He took a look around to see if there was anything they could carry the vegetation in.

Kitsune smiled at the comment of lving the idea of star gazing. " I have a sack up in the tree. Lemme get it down!" She told Maelios as she began to climb up the tree. She was in the nest of many branches as she tossed down a burlap sack. She slowly climbed back down to keep her from falling. She picked up the sack with her teeth. she motioned Maelios to follow her towards the lake. " Wets go!" She said to him as she tried not to move her mouth much.
