Anything to sell products
they use everything, graphics, sex, lies, photos and money
What do you guys think they are way over-doing it

The best way to sell things is to grab peoples attetion so that is why businesses appeal to peoples hrmm...

Yes thats ture but to sell a product they have to lie.
you see young people around around 5 to 6 years) with babie dolls. otherwise lying about how beauty must be.
With Females (and it slowly happening with men too) you need to have high cheek bones, cryistal skin (no redness or pimples), high shoes and the latest fastion clothes.
but what younger people dont realise, no one is that beautiful. the images on magazines- its all photoshoped.
We - the adults - are telling the lies to our kids. its unfair and it needs to stop.
"the perfect image just doesnt exist" - we only make in it exist with films, computer graphics and books.

Sex is the easiest way to sell anything due only to human nature. Sex means babies, babies mean survival of the human race. It's so hard wired into our instincts that we don't even think about it.
The whole point of advertisement is manipulating human nature. It's actually the basics in studying anything along the lines of graphic design, typography, design in general and advertisement.
And really...how do you think you will even have kids? Once they get old enough they will learn the vertical tango as well. The world goes around and a new generation is born. I can understand shielding them from that kind of thing while they are young, but it's not right to keep them from reality. They'll have to know at some point.
As for the vanity...Good looks are just a sign of good genes. Good genes mean better babies. That's how two intelligent people are able to produce a "good looking" child. It's all apart of reproducing.
My whole rant in a nut shell....Everything comes down to one thing and one thing only....reproduction.
