Okay, rhetorical questions and possible flaming over religion aside, I propose an Idea.
"Idea!" :
What happens, when you woke up in a world, as pale as death itself, AFTER committing suicide?! You still have all of the memories of committing suicide, plus a few of the minor physical changes, I.E: wrist injuries, bruises over the neck by hanging yourself, and a point of your head blown off by self-inflicted gunshot wounds, etc. You know exactly how you died, but you dont know what you can do now. You're living a secondary "Life" with people who're already "dead", ya!
What would you do? Accept the surreal reality of being one of the many suicides, ones who have ended up in this "Other World"? Would you try to find a way back to the land of the living? Or to go to the land of the dead and "Pass on"?
