"Liberty City." he says mostly to himself, even though two other people stood next to him. "I haven't seen this place in almost fourteen years." He was born in Liberty City. He didn't talk much about his past to the others. He joined the army when he was eighteen. The war ended almost seven years before. He however wasn't lucky enough to be sent home or killed. Instead he was imprisoned. He shut down a lot after being a prisoner of war. All he wanted to do was go home and finally home was within sight. A slight tear came down his eye. Only one tear. That was all he would let himself have.

It's been 4 years since he left home here in Liberty city, he Volunteered to join the military so he could help his parents out. It's been a while since he received any letters from his parents and he hopes they are all right. He has spent some time trying to talk to the man beside him and hasn't really gotten anywhere.

Wow... this place is so much better than home. She had to pull her bangs behind her ears so she could see more of the city as they approached. "So what's the plan boss?" she said to the man standing next to her. She was only sixteen years old, born two years before the war, only an infant when she was saved by her 'boss'. When he was imprisoned, she tried to sneak him food and keep him healthy.

"I'm not your Boss kid." He said to the girl. He couldn't remember when she started to call him boss, but he didn't like it. He hated being a leader. He messed up and got his team caught. He just couldn't forgive himself for that, even though they forgave him over the years. He tried to help them. He tried to calm them and pull all the punishment onto himself. It worked. That is probably why she would always call him boss. As for the rookie next to him... he never hated the rookie, just didn't want to deal with him. When they first met the rookie kept talking so he got the finger. When the rookie wouldn't stop talking it got a fist. The rookie became his friend, even if it was hard to see. "I am going home first. After that kid... I don't know."

"I'm not your Boss kid." I look at Robert surprised
I of Course know at least part of Roberts issues, he was a P.O.W, and if that doesn't mess someone up nothing would.
I first met Robert when I was sent overseas my "mission" as it were is to bring him back now that the war is over. He doesn't actually talk to me at all. in fact this was the first time I've heard him talk...shortly after I first met him I kept trying to get him to talk to me, that's when I learned that when he gives me the finger I should shut up because if I don't I get a fist to the face and believe me he hits Hard

"Okie Dokie" she replied to Robert with a thumbs up and a smile. She knew that she had a temporary visa which she'd have to get citizenship... which meant a lot of studying. "Bah, that's gonna be fun. But to stay here with boss means I gotta do it, then I get to be an American citizen." *does happy dance mentally* "Well, it sure is a beautiful city you got here..."

"She is... from the outside." He said. The City wasn't beautiful in some areas but that was fourteen years ago. It probably only got worse since. Finally the boat stopped. They had traveled by boat because they had stayed a bit longer to make sure 'The Kid' had gotten her Visa. He never understood why 'The Rookie' had waited but he was kind of glad. Once they got off the boat they headed down the ramp and looked around. Nothing. His family hadn't came. They waited about an hour then finally called a Taxi. When they got to the house he looked at the Taxi drive. "Just keep driving." He said. The Taxi driver nodded and kept going. After about three minutes he looked at the rookie. "Where is your place?"

"Corner of obsidian and Columbus" I'm not sure why Robert's Family didn't show like they were supposed to. as we pull up to my families place I notice that all the windows and doors are broken and all the lights are dark. I throw the cab door open and run into the building, I try my key to my parents place the door opens of it's own volition it wasn't shut tightly. there's nobody here and the place looks like it's been abandoned for a while. after looking for some clue as to where they may have gone and finding nothing. I go back to the cab and get back into it...
"There's nobody here, not for a quite a while...where to next?" I sit there quietly trying like mad to think of where they could be

Robert hands the Taxi driver some money that he had been given by the army for his years of service and then opens the door and gets out of the Taxi. He looks at Chris. "Where to next?" he says kind of pissed. "That ally over there looks fun." He then starts walking over to the ally.

She got out of the taxi and followed Robert to the alley, she didn't enter, but she stayed near its entrance. Here we go again, Chris has triggered something.... I think. She wasn't sure, but she figured that Chris was going to get the crap beat out of him. Oh, how that would improve the situation of where we were going. She chuckled a bit as she waited at the entrance of the alley.

Once they got into the alley Robert noticed a man next to a very crappy car called a Vigero. He man looked homeless. Robert walked up to him. "How much for the car?" The guy looked shocked. "Three hundred." He said. Robert knew it wasn't worth three hundred. It was most work fifty dollars but he needed the car. He pulled out three hundred dollars and gave it to the man. The guy took the money and handed Robert the keys and paper work for the car and ran off, probably to get piss drunk. Robert then looked at Chris. "is Hove Beach still cheat when it comes to housing?" he asked.

when we get to the ally Robert Notices a guy next the worst piece of crap of a car I have ever seen the guy is willing to sell the car for three hundred dollars, looking at the car it's not even worth twenty five dollars. Robert hands him the money and turns to me "Is Hove Beach still cheap when it comes to housing?" he asks. "Um yeah, Cheapest places you'll find in this town"

Robert gets into the car and starts it up. It sounds bad but runs. Everyone else, the Kid and the Rookie, get into the car next. They drive to Hove Beach. They drove around until they finally came to Oneida Ave. They saw a for rent sign and got out. After a few hours of talking they got themselves a place. Robert parked the car under a subway station. He then looked at Chris and Tammy. "So here we are, in America. Not fully what I thought it'd feel like again." He then walked to the newly owned Apartment. It was small, having only two rooms and a single bathroom. Once inside Robert looked at Tammy and Chris. "So I guess we are going to have to enlist you in school little girl." he said looking at Tammy. "And I guess you and me are going to get a job. Tomorrow we'll go and do all that. Tonight I think we should go get some food and get some sleep."

Bah... school... perhaps better than my "old" schooling, hopefully more entertaining "Okay boss, so I guess that means I gotta be on 'good' behaviour while I'm at school... whenever we find one that'll accept me." she said with a small sigh, at least she had a place to sleep and her boss to protect her. "What are we gonna have for grub?"
