Corasett was padding through a little meadow near the shop. There were all sorts of small and cute creatures that she loved to watch and chase. On this particular day she was busy stalking after a little bunny rabbit. Her stomach growled and she almost wished that she could eat normally.. bunny stew sounded like such a treat. She kept her self occupied by simply chasing the little bunny till it ran down into it's burrow. She crouched down and tried nosing her way in, but had no such luck. It was just to small for her.

With some frustration, she flopped on her side, sighing, and looked up at the sky. The clouds were puffy, but a little dark, like they were about to send rain down her way. Her eyes closed and she took in a big breath through her nose and let it release slowly between her stitches.

And just as Cora has been stalking the little rabbit, another creature was now stalking her. Oh so quietly, which was quite the accomplishment for her, Rhunirien crept towards the darker female, ducking under the grass playfully to avoid being spotted even though Corasett's eyes were closed. One could have easily mistaken her for a serious predator if it weren't for the ridiculous grin plastered to her face and the fact that, while she managed to keep her tail from showing her excitement, her rear refused to do the same. Closer and closer she crept towards her friend until finally she was within striking distance. With a less than mighty roar she jumped from the grass and towards her friend with a devious grin and every intent to tackle her.

Corasett's ears flickered at the little sounds they picked up nearby. Luckily for her, since she had no sense in the way of sound, her other senses were heightened. Her nose twitched as it picked up a vaguely familiar scent... yes.. she knew that scent. The corners of her mouth curled up in a mischievous smile, full well knowing what was sure to happen next. And she was right. She readied herself as she heard Rhu's voice and rolled on out of the way, giggling as she rolled.

"CoraaaaaOOF!" Instead of landing on Corasett as she had planned, Rhu landed face first onto the ground as the other anticipated her moves and rolled out of the way. With a groan she rolled over onto her back and pouted as she turned her head to Cora, "You weren't supposed to move~ How am I gonna tackle you if you move outta the way, Cora~?" Her pouty face didn't last long, as her excitement in seeing her friend was far too great, and the grin quickly returned.

"So, how ya been, Cora?" Now that she wasn't "hunting" any more she could freely let her tail wag as she waited for a response.

As quick as can be Corasett hopped up and pranced around her friend. She couldn't help but beam at her senses. Her mouth widened into a grin and pulled at the stitches in her mouth. A slight pain came, but it was nothing compared to once again foiling another pouncing plan of Rhu's. Tail wagging, she flopped onto Rhu and giggled. Giving her friend a reassuring nuzzle and purr she snuggled in with her.

Corasett's head bobbled a bit and gave a bit of a bored sigh in response to Rhu's question. It really said everything. She had been so bored lately with nobody around to make friends with. Playing with the little meadow animals just wasn't the same for her. She perked her head up and poked Rhu with a finger, asking her the same question in that way.

Rhu stuck her tongue out as Cora pranced, knowing she was flaunting her victory over her, but definitely didn't feel any hard feelings over it. She grunted in protest as Cora flopped on her, giggling as well and wrapping her arms around her affectionately. It had been way too long since they had last seen each other.

"Well that's no fun!" She responded to Cora, understanding the sigh quiet well, as she did with most of Cora's nearly silent actions. For as thick as Rhu could be, she had managed to pick up on Corasett's motions and such as a replacement for speech rather quickly. With a couple taps to her chin and a thoughtful glance to the sky she replied to the poke, "Well, not too much has happened. Coran, one of my housemates, had kids. A boy and a girl. The girl's so pretty, she's got a long braid of hair and his pretty sky markings. Oh! And the robot too! But his are still bowls. And MP's come back. He's not nearly as mean any more either." She continued on with little updates like this for a short while before finally finishing up.

Cora giggles at Rhu sticking her tongue out... it only made her victory sweeter. She snuggles into Rhu's arms more and purrs louder. She missed her bestest friend lost so this was making her very happy.

Cora bobbles her head a bit, sighing again. Things have been very boring for her and she hasn't had much fun at all lately. She was glad for someone who could understand her though. She listened intently on the updates of Rhu's housemates. Her tail wagged at the mention of kits and her purr rumbled out even more than before. She thought bowls and kits were so cute. After Rhu finished Cora grabbed her paw and started writing something out on the palm slowly. 'D-o y-o-u w-a-n-t t-o g-o- d-o s-o-m-e-t-h-i-n-g-?' ^w^

While Cora was glad to have someone who could understand her, Rhu was glad to have someone who would just listen and not get bored of her ramblings. Often times she could tell others got bored of her chatter but she just couldn't help herself. There was so much to talk about and she didn't much care for long awkward silences.

Once she had finished Rhu watched eagerly as Cora wrote on her palm, concentrating hard to catch every letter. After taking a moment to piece together the letters into words, she nodded vigorously, the grin that never really left her face widening even more, "Yeah! What do you want to do? We could play games, pick flowers, arts and crafts, go swimming, take a hike..." Once again she trailed on with a rather large list of possible activities for them to do. Rhu was the type to be easily entertained, so any number of things that most other foxes might not find entertaining at all were certainly on her list of fun things to do.

Cora couldn't help but giggle more. Her friend was so talkative. Rhu certainly talked enough for the both of them and that made her thrilled! She had always worried about being a bore to others since she couldn't talk.

When Rhu got excited about going to do something fun, Cora bounced about. FINALLY! Something fun and someone fun to do things with~ She quickly settled back down, carefully listening to catch every suggestion Rhu tossed out to her. So many fun things they could do! Oh the fun they could have. Her ears perked up even more at the mentioning of arts and crafts. She had never gotten to do anything like that and it sounded like so much fun!

Quickly she grabbed for Rhu's paw again and took a breath to calm herself so she wouldn't write it out super fast!. 'A-r-t-s a-n-d c-r-a-f-t-s p-l-e-a-s-e-!-!-!' She flopped over and rolled about all excited.

As if the pair of them weren't already excited enough, the fact that Cora seemed to be jumping with anticipation just made Rhu even more excited. She could very likely have burst from all of the excitement building up. As Cora grabbed her paw she once again concentrated to catch every letter drawn out on her paw. Of course she missed a few of them, but she figured out enough of the letters for realize what her friend wanted to do, "Oh! Okay, arts and crafts, yeah? What kind? Want to make bracelets or like pottery or, or maybe we could make macaroni pictures!" She giggled at her last suggestion, quite amused by herself and the mention of kithood activity. Of course, she would be more than happy to actually make macaroni pictures if that was what Cora wanted to do that.
