[AIM RP]
NessBanji began to stir at the first moments of day light, today was the day he was goign to be sorted, he wasn't going to be just a member of legio, but a member of a specific house a house that would be his for the rest of his life, a house that he would contribute too. It woud be weird though his siblings might not be in the same house as him, but it would be a good change.
The wrong cub got up and started out of the den, he wasn't just excited about his sorting that was going to happen, but today he was going to be tied to his familiar, something that meant he is was getting older.
Seaki
Mufasa watched the water with sharp eyes, dazzling like light against a muddy lake. The sorting would happen today, of Hetal's cubs. They were growing nicely, and he felt they were ready. Cognosco of a specific house to learn a trade.
As far as he could tell, none of the cheetahs were seers. It was still early, however, and he would find out soon enough.
He gave a wide yawn, breaking his eyes away from the waters. Small whispy images formed upon its surface when he stared, letting his third eye take control of his mind. It would bring forth images of events he had no dealins. He saw lions he didn't know and bloody fights and butterflies. There was no limit.
But today, he would have to focus, and for that, he was bordering on worried.
Ness
Banji waited at the mouth of his den for his siblings to get up and for them to all go together to find Mufasa. Mufasa and his mother were very close friends, and Banji knew that his mother was very proud to see this day come, today her babies would be on their way to being contributing members of the colliton that she was incharge of... or at least that is what Banji thought.
As Banji waited he thought about the houses, he might become a part of, there was Dolosus, they speacialized in medicines and herbs, he might be good at that, Consillio the educated bunch, Fidelitatis the ones who where brilliant with their words and minds, and Coraggio the brave ones. Banji had some ideas of where his siblings where he might go but he didn't know where he would be sorted.
SeakiThe white and dark lion sighed, the muddy gaze searching across the lush lands. He normally sat near the Great Willow, staring into the swirling mossy water for his scrying and to relax and watch the fish at the surface.
Today though, he would move away from the Willow. This would be where the sorting would take place, he figured.
He would interact with the Novum that would become Cognosco today, watching them and getting a feel for them. He already had a pretty good idea where they would all go, but the sorting would solidify the choice
Ness
Banji lead the way to the willow tree, a beautiful location in the lands. He felt a smile move across his face when he saw Mufasa already waiting at that tree. Banji found himself amazed by the white and dark lion, he was always a step ahead of everyone else, yet distant at the same time.
Upon reaching his destination Banji driffted back to the end of the line wanting to see his siblings get sorted first, he was after all one of the last born, and there for felt it right his other siblings go first. Suddenly the cubs stomach was doing flips and he became worried about what the outcome could be.
At last it was Banji's turn, he moved and step foward approaching Mufasa, he noticed the serval Draii standing near by Draii was going to his familiar very soon. He took a deep breath in as he sat before Mufasa looking into the eyes of the lion that he had the upmost respect for.
Seaki
The sorting went a bit quicker then Mufasa thought, as he touched his muzzled to one of the last cub's heards. He whispered to him a few words before calling out their house. He gave a small mile as the last cub came forward and sat.
"Hello, young one," Mufasa said in a low rumble. He didn't like being overheard when he wanted to talk to an individual. The words he spoke were meant for this cubs ears only.
He gave a small quirked smile. "Do you wish to figure out where you shall go first?" he asked in a low whisper. "Or would you like for me to tell you, Cognosco?" he adressed the young male by his soon-to-be title. Once he sirted him into his house.
He gave a comforting smile. After all, the cub would go to study under his new house. It could be nerve-wrecking.
Ness
Banji thought for a moment, he wasn't sure he would be able to guess which house he was going to, he had a 25% chance of getting it right. "I think maybe I don't know I don't think I will go to Corriogo I am not brave enough he said with a smile, but I dont know about the other ones."
Banji had seen the leader of Corragio and he knew that he didn't want to be in her house. He looked up into Mufasa's eyes to see if he could get any hints but found now. "I don't know where I am going, you will have to tell me." he said with a smile, he was nervous he could feel his stomach doing flips.
Seaki
The lion gave a small chuckle. "Alright then, young one." He could feel the strong pull of where the young male should be, but he decided he should give a small talk to the cubs as they passed trhough him for sorting.
"You'll know soon." He answered with a grin. "You're a very nervous young one, Banji," he commented lightly. "But I'd like to have some words with you." Mufasa leaned forward to whisper some words to the cub.
"You must remember to work hard. Everyone has a place here, you must remember this." He paused for a moment, pondering where to go next - he had to choose his words wisely, even though the small notes were anything but prophetic.
Ness
Banji listened to what the male lion said to him, his words were obviously filled with wisdom, and it was well known that Mufasa could not only only see where members of the pride belonged but also future events, some say it was the cause of the distant look in the lion's eyes.
"We belong here, work hard." Banji whispered the lions words back at him. After the sorting took place perhaps Banji would see if he could stay with Mufasa and talk more, the lion seemed to have a ton of wisdom that Banji was sure he could benefit from.
"Ok Mufasa, I am ready to hear it I think." The cub tried to stand with his head held high, summoning ever ounce of confidence he had.
Seaki
The grin on Fasa's face grew a bit wider. "I'm glad to hear this," Mufasa told him sincerally. He placed his muzzle upon the cubs head and breathed slightly against it. He could feel the painful clouding of his eyes before the vision engulfed him for a split second.
He wasn't able to see what happened, but it was enough to know where to place the cub - where he knew would bring the pride in its progress as well as make the cub happy.
Still, the sortings hurt him, though he showed it not. His seer powers would eventually stop taxing him so much.
Ness
Banji lifted his head further to meet Mufasa's muzzle, he felt the lion breath in his fur. He felt all his muscles tense in antisipation, where would he go, would he move towards a medical field or perhaps the house of politcaly driven individuals, it was bound to be interesting either way, he could learn losts and that was what excited him the most.
He knew that his siblings had been sent to various housese and he wondered if perhaps he would be with one of them or be in another house all together. It was a world of possiblities either way.
He shifted his weight in anticipation.
Seaki
Mufasa gave a small grin, leaning back on his haunches. "You'll make a wonderful addition to the Dolosus Domus, young Cognosco." He said with a grin, amusing by the shifting anticipation in the boy. He shifted his weight with a small mill, glancing a Draii from the corner of his eyes
"There's another thing though, that I must do here," Mufasa stated, not at all solemn. "If you could wait for a moment."
Ness
"Dolosus!" Banji was happy with this placement, Dolosus was after all a house that hold a great deal of interest for the young cub always wanted to know more about how the herbs worked to heal and all the powers of them, he was excited to be on of the smartest members of the colition in his mind.
Banji shifted his wieght again when Mufasa mentioned one more thing that he must do. Banji knew that he was officially going to be paired with Draii. Draii was the daughter of Kona, Kona being Banji's mothers familair. Already Banji and Draii had become close, she had saved Banji from so many close calls of trouble, not that he had meant to caused trouble.
Seeing the nod from Mufasa Draii stepped forward away from her mother's side, she was excited and she knew that today was a very honorable thing for her to expereince and she hoped that Banji felt the same, she already felt a great deal of love towards the little cheetah.
Seaki
Mufasa gave a happy smile and looked up the hevans. "I formally acclaim these two Bonded familiars." he called out to the pride. He felt a little silly doing so, but he would get over it.
"May their remaining days be at eachothers sides," he said, though it was not solemn. He expected it to be. It was not a vow of matehood, after all, he mused amusedly.
Mufasa gave a breathly laugh. "And so concludes the ceremony," He smiled slightly and forcing his body not to sag with the exertion on his body for the day. He would sleep soon, letting the days events wash over him like the waves.
Ness
Banji let out a yelp of excitment he turned towards his siblings and gave them all congradulatory nuzzles, it was an amazing feeling to belong to a specific house, to know that he was going to belong to and learn more about.
Banji turned back towards Mufasa a wide grin on his face, "Thank you" he said in a low tone trying to sound manly. He then turned towards Draii and nuzzled her, he was happy that they were officially bonded she was after all his bestfriend.
Draii smiled and laughed watching Banji's excitement it was really oen of the best things she had ever wittnessed. She was also happy because she would go along with Banji to Dolosus, she too would be able to learn some of the things that the house specialized in, she would never hold a rank other then Banji's assistant but she would be able to help him, and to her that was amazing.
