This is the center of the territory outside of the RiverClan camp. I don't know whether I'm allowed to make this topic or not, but Whitepool and Sandpaw need somewhere to be roleplayed.... To Cupcake or Memories: you can delete this thread if you don't like it....

"So, what are we working on now??" asked Sandpaw for the millionth time, brushing against the slender reeds. Her pale ginger pelt stood out against the gray bark of the willows and birches, the silvery water, and the rocks, pebbles, and shells on the lake shore.
Whitepool replied, "For the last time, we are working on the badger attack today." She stopped when they padded into the clearing, littered with rainbow-colored leaves of auburn, violet, amber, and yellow. "Pretend I'm a badger," she instructed, "and try to attack me."
Sandpaw narrowed her eyes, trying to decide where to attack her mentor. Whitepool was rolling her eyes; Sandpaw could tell she was exasperated. Sure, you think I'm stupid, she thought angrily, but I'll show you! When she finished probing her mentor's body, she focused her green eyes on Whitepool's left shoulder. Sandpaw saw her mentor tense, as if she thought that the apprentice would start there. Now who's stupid? she thought as she lashed out a paw at her right shoulder.
Whitepool felt Sandpaw speed past her, and tripped her as she went. Well, 'tried to trip' would be more accurate. Sandpaw countered with a hop and a jump onto her mentor's back, digging her claws deep into Whitepool's silver fur. "Ow!" she yelped, feeling blood welling up in her should and back. The deputy rolled over, squashing Sandpaw beneath her, and pinning her down. She licked at the scratches, flame burning in her gray eyes. "Claws sheathed," Whitepool growled.

Sandpaw's emerald eyes widened in shock. She'd never seen Whitepool so angry like this. "Oops," she mewed weakly. "I forgot."
Whitepool sighed, letting her bristling fur lie flat on her back. "Sandpaw," she meowed finally, "let's try that again. See, here's how you do a formal badger attack." She indicated with her tail that a nearby boulder was the 'badger', and jumped into the air tail-lengths above the already-very-tall boulder. Twisting in the air, she landed squarely on the badger's 'shoulders', and clawed at it fiercely. Whitepool had a feeling her claws would be very sharp at the end of the training session. When she landed, she cuffed it around its 'ears' and fastened her teeth in its neck, using her claws to scratch at it.

Sandpaw stared in awe at Whitepool's move. "Like this?" she squeaked enthusiastically. She leaped into the air, twisting. Her paws landed on Whitepool's shoulders, and Sandpaw pretending to bite her. She hadn't jumped high enough, though, and had lost her balance as she twisted so that she fell off Whitepool.
"Close," admitted Whitepool, nodding approvingly at Sandpaw, "but bend your legs more when you spring and land. It'll make everything lighter. Try again on the boulder."
By the end of the session, Sandpaw had mastered the badger attack, fox attack, and leap-and-hold. She could now easily be the victor in a match against Whitepool, although the apprentice suspected the deputy's wounded shoulder had something to do with it. Whitepool was limping by the time they got to the camp, her sapphire blue and stone gray eyes full of pain and exhaustion.

Icepaw had been watching the two cats train. Icepaw purred with amusement. Then she trotted up to Whitepool. Icepaw knew what would happen. She'd ask Whitepool if she could simply battle the apprentice. Icepaw had a secret move planned. Sandpaw had just mastered those moves. But Icepaw's mentor Yellowtail, had taught her those moves on her very first day. Icepaw would win the battle, and Sandpaw would be jealous because she was half a moon younger then him. That would mean one step closer to impressing Sandpaw. I don't know why i like him. Icepaw told herself. But this'll be fun too!
Icepaw following her plan, trotted up to her deputy. "Can I take him on?" she pleaded.

Whitepool looked up in surprise. "Oh, good morning, Icepaw," she mewed. "Sandpaw, you mean?" She glanced at Sandpaw, who was jumping up and down. "Fine."

Icepaw purred with ammusement and crouched waiting for Sandpaw to jump.

Sandpaw began circling Icepaw, narrowing his emerald eyes in concentration. With a quick leap, he bowled Icepaw over and cuffed her around the ears, then quickly jumped back, adding an extra blow with carefully sheathed claws.

Icepaw immediately sprang in the air, using the Hawk eye technique Yellowtail had taught her a few moonrises back. Before she knew it she was on top of Sandpaw, pawing at him.

Sandpaw rolled over, squashing Icepaw beneath him. "Nice one!" he grunted, pinning Icepaw down securely as he got up and making sure she wouldn't wriggle out from beneath him.

starkit paddled in the shallow water near the nursery giggling, she spotted a fish in the water she squealed in delight and dived for it. Emerging with it clamped tight in her jaws ""ook at is ook ook!"

Scarletpaw waited by the river. Any second now... Suddenly she saw a fish dart in front of her. "Gotcha!" she said as she pulled the fish up out of the river.

Icepaw dropped the fight and ran over to the kits. A fish appeared and she swiftly caught it. "Watch and learn little ones." she said.
Yellowtail emerged from the bushes. "You went hunting and didnt tell me?" she spat. "How disobedient Icepaw!"
