A habitual club jumper, Barnaby had recently tired of the gardening club and moved on to the next best thing: year book. Nothing quite like spending your afterschool time reminiscing over the past school year while you were reminded by looming deadlines that it was coming to an end. And who didn't like to be reminded that school was almost done? The redhead was already ticking off the days on his calendar for when he would be free from school forever. Of course his mother would probably insist that he pick up a trade of some kind, but at least he wouldn't be in school.
Thus, with a bit of a spring in his step, he headed down the hallway of Meadowview high school in search of the somewhat reclusive year book club. Upon finding what he thought was the proper classroom, he knocked first and then stuck his head in to ask the nearest available student, "This is year book club, innit?"

Kallista glances up from what she was doing at the boy at the door and nodded her head "Yes, it is" she said. Before setting down her camera since she was browsing through the pictures she had taken over the school year. Some of sports games, events and a bunch of some other activities that happened at the school.

Right room? Score!
Pleased with his intuition, the redhead sauntered into the room and dropped his backpack on the nearest available desk. The girl who had answered him seemed like a good target to continue talking to. He had, after all, interrupted her, thus making it easy to keep her attention before she got too focused on her work. That, and she didn't look like she would bite his head off for talking to her.
"This your camera?" He asked as he gestured to it. "You're the one who takes pictures at events, yeah? Sports and stuff?"

Kallista nodded her head in response to both his questions, she picked up her camera "yup..this is my camera and I am the person who does take pictures of events and sports at Meadowview high" she stated. "I like using my creativity to create the year book, its always been a hobby of mine" she told him.

The redhead nodded, tipping his head so he could look at the camera over Kallista's shoulder. Maybe he should inquire about joining the photography club. Taking pictures of the school sports teams didn't sound all that bad. "A hobby, eh? Did you work on it last year?" The girl couldn't have been much younger than him. It was hard to tell with girls. They matured so much faster, or something like that.
Not the type to keep quiet for long, he followed his first questions with another one, "So d'you just put the pictures on the computer and mess around with 'em until they look nice?' Barnaby certainly hadn't taken art class because he was good at it. He just liked working with his hands and making stuff. The explanations and thought that went with it were definitely out of his league but hey, at least he tried.

"well, I did some of the work for Last year's year book" she said "just the portion of choosing right backgrounds and borders and what not to go with the chosen picture" she explained. "as well as the placing of the photographs, its a indirect way to design the page to your liking" she continued.
She nodded her head "basically" she informed him. "But we don't like change anything in the photos we just choose pictures that would look good with the page and by doing that we narrow down the list of photographs that we have taken to use for the year book" she finished.
