Arizona Steampunks are in luck there are quite a few of us. I haven't made it to any of the meetups yet but http://www.meetup.com/steamhub/ is the official group and there is even a convention lined up next year that's already booked Abney Park.

After the size of the Tempe, AZ gaia meet up I'm SHOCKED at the lack of steampunks though I confess I didn't get a chance to dress up either.
