I'm wondering, How do I teach my pokes Hidden Power? I like that it could be pretty much any type but I'm wanting to teach Hidden Power to some pokes. (I'm lookin to be AriaG's apprentice but if she is gonna use dummy pokes then i want a team that all knows a different type of hidden power that could work or somethin)

Is it a TM? do i have to buy it? Is it a lvl up kind of move where if i get the poke to a certain lvl then it will be able to learn it?

Please help lol >.<

Edit: Also possibly lookin to be Luther's apprentice seein as how i've taken a bit of favoring to dark type. But also lookin to teach Hidden power to give a surprise to anyone that I would have to face >.<

There are certain Pokemon that can learn Hidden Power when leveling up but the rest have to learn it through TM.

Even if you teach your Pokemon Hidden Power its IVs determines its attack type and attack damage (70 being the max).

*Edit: Forgot to mention but in HG/SS in Celadon City there is a guy in the prize shop (next to voltorb flip thing) that can tell you your Pokemon's Hidden Power type.

I found the guy that can tell you your pokemon's hidden power type so I just have to go to him and ask which type would my Charizard learn or whatev >.<
But where do i get the TM in HG?

I believe you can buy it from the TM Corner in one of the department store. Not sure which one though. It's TM 10 that teaches Hidden Power.

This may sound kind of bad but they can be bought from the Celadon City Game Corner for 5000 coins and on D/P/Pt at Veilstone City for 6000 coins.

If only the slots were available things would have been easier.

Or at least the counter where you can buy the overpriced coins. That's what disappointed me the most. I almost never used the slots anyway. Now they force me to play the game for hours so I can get one friggin TM.
