--News--Well this is my first time creating a rp story and considering the changing and twisting of the topic that I am going to make it will get confusing so pay attention to the statements and rules of this rp.
When this rp starts only Green, Blue, Yellow, and Red Lantern characters will be accepted the other Lantern Corps will be available later.
--Structure--This rp is going to be about the war of the Lantern Corps from DC comics and it is going to be a modified version of the timeline of event in the Green Lantern comics. First off it is not going to take place from the beginning of the Green Lantern comics instead it will start in sort of the middle in order to accommodate my favorite Lantern Corps and so more Lantern Corps will be available for someone to be in instead of just Green Lantern Corps. The part of the story that we will jump in will be when the Blue Lanterns is about to go to war with the Red Lanterns and we will modify the story from there. The ending of this rp that I want to do is similar to the event going on in the Green Lantern comics right now which is called The Blackest Night where the final prophesy from the Book of Oa is unfolding which results in the end of the Black Lanterns and that will be our ending. As we go on in this rp we will have to end many characters that will be created in order to go on in the next part of the timeline. So that’s how the structure of this rp is going to be now read the statements and rules in order to understand this rp’s topic and how to be included in the rp.
--Rules--- I am the author of this rp so what I say will surely go.
- Only original Lantern Corps characters or your own Lantern Corps characters are allowed no other DC or Marvel characters.
- God Moding will be allowed but nothing big that will affect another person’s character like dying or something like that without their consent. That also includes the main bad guys that I will have to be for they will be killed off when the time comes.
- Profanity is allowed to a minimum.
- Pay attention to others posts and keep with the story don’t just make up some random post that is out of way in the story or you will be removed.
- Romance is allowed but keep it PG-13.
- Keep your character’s powers and abilities within the limits of what they are founded on for more info on that see the statements section.
- Plot twists and surprises are welcome but be reasonable and consistent with the story.
- Anything that you say in the story that is not to be included in the story mark it like this (( blah blah blah.)) so it does not get confusing to readers.
- Stay within the rules and statements and have fun.
--Statements--- To be a member of one of the Lantern Corps you will have to know the powers and the weaknesses your character will posses and it also would help to know the Lantern Corps history according to the DC comics so make your choice and follow the links provided.
- Nobody cannot be a leader of a Lantern Corps for I will play out the leaders myself in order to keep the story intact. For this rp is going to be different with the story for you can create your own Lantern character with his or her own story as to how they became a certain Lantern. But if you want to be one of the original members of a certain Lantern Corp then inform me and if it is available then you can be that character, but like I just said no requests to be a leader of a Lantern Corp they are off limits.

--Premise--- In order to understand this story better click the following link and at least read from the Sinestro Corps War to The Blackest Night it is a lot of read and I am sorry but you will understand my rp story better and be able to follow it the way I am doing it.

It is a few years after the Sinestro Corps War and the Massacre of Sector 666 since then Atrocitus remained in imprisonment by Sinestro but discovering the red light of rage he escaped and traveled to the planet of Ysmault and forged the Red Lantern Power Battery and the first Red Power Rings using the blood of the four Inversions. Now creating many Red Power Rings Atrocitus released them out to the universe where the rings found suitable users because of their inner rage and thus his Red Lantern Corps formed and started going out and finding more people to join voluntary or involuntary. Then he made his revenge move and kidnapped Sinestro from the Green Lanterns while on his way to Korugar to be executed ended up with many Sinestro Corps members killed and the Green Lanterns left to die. The Green Lanterns were saved by Troy Beverly one of the first members of the Blue Lantern Corps who was dispatched to bring Sinestro and Hal Jordan to Gantlet. When Troy brought Hal to the planet Odym where Gantlet convinced Hal and other Green Lanterns to help the Blue Lanterns rescue Sinestro and vanquish the Red Lantern Corps. With the Green Lanterns helping Troy and the rest of the Blue Lanterns they will lead a force to oppose the enemy in another battle in the War of Light that would be called Rage of the Red Lanterns.
