These are the steps outside of the Jedi Temple. Here, droids will check your identification papers if you have them, and jedi guards of Knight rank will ask you your business. If it is important, they will decide if you may enter or not.

Guards can only be controlled by a member who is a Jedi Master and who is a Crew Member.

Entering in from the direction of the East Landing Zone for Coruscant, Zach approaches the large Jedi Temple. He looks around at a bit to take in its size and its brilliance. The perfect construction of the entire temple makes it one of the more wonderful sights of the the world. He lets out a slight laugh, remembering that he has never once actually took the time to come and see the temple before. With this, he takes a step forward and begins walking up the stairs up to the temple. When he gets within about twenty feet of it, he slows his pace and waits for the guards to approach him, knowing that in a place like this, they are definitely going to check him out to make sure he isn't trying anything . . . sneaky.

"There is no emotion, there is peace
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge
There is no passion, there is serenity
There is no chaos, there is harmony
There is no death, there is the Force"

High above the steps of the Jedi Temple, in the skies of Corusant, a relatively small chunk of debris was angled for entry into the planet's atmosphere. Though sensors might have picked it up, this particular meteor wasn't simply a dense piece of metal from a ship destroyed in orbit and wasn't being propelled by gravity. After a long flight in space, curiously unknown-design engines fired shortly after entering Corusant's orbit, causing the vessel to rocket down towards the planet's surface.

In the next few minutes, a blazing white hot object could be seen on a fast, drastic approach for the ground. There was little anyone or anything could do to stop the vessel from landing, though its actual touchdown was not as destructive as its descent. Several meters from impact, powerful thrusters in the nose of the pod fired and rapidly slowed the vessel's descent. However, minor destruction could not be avoided and the pod penetrated the ground a good seven of the ship's fourteen feet. Upon closer inspection, one might see into the pod's interior through a small viewport, but only to view a closed iris. As the vessel's surface cooled, whatever lay inside awaited discovery.

Turan Uruk flowed out of the front gates in great haste. Proximity alarms had informed him of the incoming object and he had called out for the Guardians at the main doors to stand back. This thing whatever it was had come through the atmosphere on a direct line to the temple and had not deviated even a millimeter. It was an alarming event in the least.

Two of the other council members had accompanied him down to the main gates and witnessed the crash. Each agreeing that the object in question was some kind of pod. Unfortunately it had buried itself deep in the stairs of the temple and was covered in rubble. To many this would be an inconvenience, a task that would require the hiring of a construction crew and a long process of removal, but currently there was a much easier way to remove it.

Coming up along side the crater Turan balanced himself precariously on an edge and watched as roots from his feet grew down into the crater. Much like any tree, Turan's roots were strong and with enough pushing could find any and every crack in the ground and expand it. By doing this it allowed Turan to gain an actual grasp on the item physically. With much effort and a push or two from the force, Turan was able to wench the pod from the ground and set it carefully next to the crater. With this accomplished his roots shrunk back to normal sizes and became his humanoid leg once more.

"Could you all bring a turbo lift and help bring this inside. I can feel something within, let's take it down to the halls of healing so we can assess it if need be."
