When you create your character you have to choose a god or goddess too.

Nophica - goddess of abundance - EARTH - 2nd
Thaliak - god of knowledge - WATER - 3rd
Llymlaen - goddess of navigation - WIND - 4th
Halone - goddess of war - ICE - 5th
Byregot - god of the arts - LIGHTNING - 6th
Nald'thal - god of commerce - FIRE - 7th
Althyk - god of time - EARTH - 8th
Nymeia - goddess of fate - WATER - 9th
Oschon - god of vagrants - WIND - 10th

I believe I am gonna go with Azeyma - goddess of inquiry - FIRE - 1st moon. She's the goddess the miqo'te seekers of the sun worship, even though I plan to be a female hyur. I just like "inquiry" cuz I'm a truth seeker biggrin

I'm probably going to go with Halone.
War all the way. But I'll make my final decision once more information is gained on how the Dieties will effect character growth.
It can't be as simple as the Goddess of war will benefit you only as a Disciple of War.

That's what I would pick if they don't have effects on your character. Maybe that god/goddess just gives you a stronger resistance against that element.

Awh snap. o_o There are so many! I'm leaning towards either fire, ice, or lightning because those are usually the most abundant elements used in games. I like Althyk, the keeper cause of the whole hourglass element too.
I wonder how much the choice will effect in game. o: But I really like this addition, its another way to personalize your character more.

It really depends on if following a particular deity confers any bonuses on your character based on what discipline you choose to follow, but if I had to just pick one, I would go with Oschon. What better way to bless a wanderer than to follow the god of wanderers.
