 Eviotil was annoyed with how things had gone, first she'd had two baskets, then one disappeared on her. Now she only had one, and that one was running around. She growled, who knew where the little fiend was? It was far too cheerful to be of any good use really, but there was something underlying that was sinister about the little foal.
She looked to see where the fiendish little thing had managed to get into this time, since she had no idea about the other one as of yet, likely the trifling little snot had been eaten, or maybe even just disappeared. Eviotil silently puzzled over how the little thing had ended up with only a single horn, then figured it was all part of the rather odd way she had no memory of who it was that had gotten her knocked up.

 Enali smiled to herself absently as she made her way around the field of flowers. She watched the butterflies go over the flowers, and the hummingbirds flit between them. It was fun to watch the fast-moving birds and the crooked-flying butterflies. They entertained her greatly, and she loved watching them, despite what her mother said. And they made really good snacks too.
Enali giggled, and licked a small feather off the side of her lips. With them being so full of nectar, hummingbirds were the sweetest treats she had run into yet. And their speed made them a challenge the catch, which made catching them all the sweeter. she couldn't keep up with them before, but she had learned the trick. Apparently, the birds hadn't learned the trick about her yet though, as these seemed relatively unafraid. She flicked her fuzzy tail in anticipation, and she watched the small birds quickly fly around.

Eviotil stared at her daughter who had developed a rather interesting game. The child liked birds. Particularly humming birds. Her eyes narrowed as she watched the foal scamper after her next treat. She had to admit the little thing was crafty, especially with how she faked them out, and used those odd blue tufts as a way to lure the little things in.
Shaking her head she laid down and watched her vile little spawn feast on one feathered creature after another. It was odd to watch the little thing, but it was...refreshing how nasty and devious she could be. So much easier to understand than those annoying Unicorns or normal soquili. Those good natured things drove her to the brink, this. This was good abnormal behavior for a Kalona...Even if she did have one horn.
Getting up, Eviotil snorted, "Enali, if you eat too many sweets you'll get fat. Come on hyper demon, you need to go for a run, sharpen those skills of yours and work with what little flame you have." She didn't speak as though the foal was...stupid. Simply as though her foal had a bit of an attention span issue.

Enali turned to her mother, crunching down on another flying treat; small feathers sticking to the side of her mouth. "There's hardly anything here to count as being anything too filling," she complained, but headed over to her mother, her cloak fluttering behind her. In kiddish joy, she kicked her heals as she trotted, and snorted in an emotion that came close to mirth. She would be back, and hopefully, the little birds would have forgotten about her by then.
"And I have been working on my flame mother. I can control it better then last time." She giggled a bit with a disturbed sound. "And maybe this time I won't catch the grass on fire."

Eviotil snorted at her daughter, "Perhaps you won't, or perhaps you'll be able to control it so well you can burn your name into the grass and trees. It all depends on if you're focus is good enough." She smiled a bit darkly, "And those sweet little treats you love so much will be easier to catch if you're able to convert your flames into a thin blue fog." She was learning that it was easier to get Enali to practice when the girl found there was a reward for her hard work.
It wasn't that her daughter had no ethic, but she was a dubious little foal, and thoroughly felt that she could argue her way out of anything, especially if it didn't involve a reward of some sort. So rather than argue with it, Eviotil put on a good face and worked with her daughter's little quirks, thickening the foal's blood lust at the same time.
