After a hearty breakfast (which had been thrown up when no one was looking) with momma Linn and daddy Zuzu, Zul'brin set out to meet up with her friend. She was sneaking off so to say. Linn knew where Brin was going, knew she was heading off to be with a friend... But she didnt know the whole truth. In all honesty Brin feared the repercussions that may arise if she were to tell her mother she was heading off to spar. But that didnt matter to Brin right now. She had made a promise, and it was one she was not intending on going back on. She hoped that in the end much good would come from giving her bronze friend the adrenaline fix he needed.

It was after a good long breakfast that Enzo slipped away from his family. His mom would be super pissed later that he was missing the morning run but he couldn't really care less right now. His bronze and black legs shook with need and excitement has he ran through the field of tall grass, heading right to the meeting spot of the two foals.

He'd gotten there before her, not surprising since running was even if he didn't want to say it in his blood and he was faster then the normal colt. His chest rapidly rose and fell with him taking deep quick breaths trying to not only calm down but to catch his breath before his little girly friend got here. Still he couldn't hold it back so to keep from going and tracking down her he paced back and forth why he waited.

Brin pushed aside the plants and foliage around her with her tail as she weaved in and out of the scattered trees of the forest. She should have chosen a closer meeting spot for their sparing, but the trees and shrubs would have only gotten in the way. Light could be seen on the horizon, the open fields of the plains were near. It was a bit uncomfortable for Brin to be this far away; she had only been this far out once before. But... She had to.

As she stepped out in to the open she had to squint, the light was too bright for her out here. She wasn't quite use to it yet. It took only a moment for her to adjusts before she was looking out over the flat area with ease. Not far in the distance a bronze spec stood out vividly next to the bright green spring grass. "Hey!" She called out, somewhat not surprised that the foal had reached the spot before her. Trotting steadily, as if in no rush, Brin made her way to the boy.

Enzo sighed as he shook his mane for what could have been the thousand time today. He was starting to think the little filly wouldn't show up, even if he doubted that was like her but you could never be too sure. He was contemplating just going home when he heard a shout of "HEY!" coming from behind him. His spotted ears flicked up at the sound and he quickly jumped around to see if who the hell was coming. And boy did he smile when he saw the white and purple spec coming out of the forest, so she did show up! Finally.

But Enzo toke his time walking, not wanting to seem too eager to meet up with her. He could often scare people with how hyper he could get all well he didn't want to make the same mistakes with his sparing buddy.
His normal cocky smirk formed on his face when he met up half way with the filly. Hold his head high he circled her before walking besides her to where he just headed from. "What toke ya so long girly? Got caught by your old rents?" He asked with a raised black eyebrow.

"Ya'know... Next time we'll make the spot in the forest closer to my home instead of closer to your home if you like? Besides, I didnt see a point in rushing!" Brin said with a devilish grin as she saw the boy's smirk.

She gave a sigh as she came to a stop, lowering her head slightly and closing her eyes. Taking a deep breath she flared her wings slightly, readying herself for the sparing. "So, how do you want to do this? What sort of ground rules do you want to set?"

Enzo shrugged at her request, his smirk widening just a tiny bit. He didn't really care where it was set, as long as these sparing matches happened he was quite happy. Besides if it was closer to her home, then it was more ground for his parents to cover before they found him there for more time alone, always a good thing. "Kay, just tell me where you want to do it and I'll be there."

He paused in his walk along side her when he saw she stopped, quickly he turned around to face her before bracing himself. "Rules? Ummm." He paused as he pondered for a minute. Well there were only a couple, very basic at best. "First, no killing each other. I don't feel like dying anytime soon. Second when someone yells stop, we have to stop, kay? And last...none of our parents should know about this, these matches are between you and me only. Sounds good?" He asked with a grin.
