Alsoomse was flying around the Oasis, when it happened, again. He looked down, spied a pretty blue female Shakaiyo and tripped over his feet. When he looked up, there she was, the soon to be mother of his children, Shanna. He smiled at her, "Morning. How are you feeling today?" Al placed his yellow wings against his back and walked next to Shanna.
It had happened unexpectedly, that they would be parents. They barely knew each other. And Al was nervous about being a father and afraid Shanna would chase him off. Almost as an after thought he reached under his wing "Here I brought you some berries." Showing her a couple sticks of different berries.

~Shanna smiles at looks at him as he tripps and falls infront of her. She smiles looking at the father of her soon to be childern~ " Good morning, I'm doing okie, my tubby is getting a little bit bigger." ~She giggles and looks at her tubby. She smiles again, it was fact that they hadly knew another but she felt safe with Al. She hoped that they could rise their childern together.
Taking the sticks from him carefully she smiles and sets them down~ " Thank you! I need your help, if you want to help i mean. We need to start walking on a den so the pups will be safe when they get here."

Al smiles and rubs his check against Shanna's tubby. "The den? Oh yes the den." He nods his head, looking around for possible locations.
"Where do you think would be best?" His tail lightly touching her. He wants to raise their children together, but doesn't know how to go about telling her. His choice might not be the best, his parents left him to fend for himself at a young age. "I am not certain I know what would be safe." Looking over near a tree, it looked like a good place. He shook his head with a sigh. "I will help and do most of the work, Shanna, on the den."

~Shanna smiles as he rests his head against her tubby. Shanna looks around~ " I rised myself here, I know the area pretty well and it is fairly safe.." ~She watches him ~" well since we are going to dig down. a tree or tall brush would be the best place to hide the entance of the den, plus the roots offer a way to keep the pups from getting out until they are big enough." ~She watches by the tree~ " okies. it's not really good for me to move around a lot for right now." ~She smiles at Al, she hoped that he would stick around~

Al makes sure Shanna is comfortable before he starts digging. It was his first time digging a deep place near a tree. He uses his beak to mark an entrance hole, just a little bit bigger then they are. He puts his paws into the job at paw slowly digging the hole. Every once in a while, he looks up to watch Shanna, his heart slowly swelling with affection. Each time he looks at her though, he sends dirt flying out a bit rougher then needed.

~Shanna smiles and lays down to nap in the sun as he works on the den she felt bad that she couldn't help him dig their childerns birthing spot and where they would spend most of their time. While either Al or her hunted for when they get big enough to eat meat. Soon with the heat and warmth of the sun he falls asleep~

Al continued to dig their den. He turned and saw that Shanna had fallen asleep. He smiled, kind of understanding that it must be hard carrying that extra weight. He looks to see that he has done a pretty decent job on the den, there is still some work to be done, but for now its big enough to enter, well at least one of them. He walks over the Shanna, licks her cheek, then heads off to find some extra nutrients for her.

~Shanna wakes up as she cheek is licked and lookings around for Al. She then yawns and stands up then she walks over to the den and crawls inside to check in out. Looking around as she heads down then at the end she turns and heads back up. Once out she looks around again and sits at the entance~

Al returned with some rabbits in his beak. He notices that Shanna was sitting at the entrance and went to land where she was laying earlier. Bringing the rabbits over and placing them near her, he asks "How does it look?" He lays down next to the entrance, happy that she is awake now. His tail wags and he nudges her paws.

~Shanna smiles as lands and brings the rabbits to him. She watches him closely as he places them near her~ " It looks pretty good." ~ She watches him wag his tail and smile as she takes the biggest one and lays next to him snuggles as she starts to eat~ " Thank you Al. The rabbit is really good."

Al smiles when she snuggles next to him. He lifts a wing so he can move closer to her. "I am glad you enjoy the rabbit. Does it need to go back further?" He started eating the smaller one and lays his tail over hers.

~Shanna smiles meet and relaxes she felt comfirtable around him, enjoying the heat beening baked into her skin~ " Yes, it needs to go back a little farther. But we can worry about finshing it tomorrow." ~She watches him lay his tail over hers and smiles as she watches him eat~

Al smiles, raising a paw "You have a little something right here," wiping some off her cheek. He looks at the den, resting his head on his paws. With the sun heating his back, he falls asleep.

~Shanna smiles. "thanks." ~ she watches him fall asleep and falls asleep beside him. In the middle of the night she wakes to great pain in her tubby like she had been kick by a horse. She looks at Al and nuggles him~ " Al something is wrong." ~After a little while she watches their two new blaskets come into the word~
~She smiles at the Al then relaxes and cuddles into between them~

Al wakes up to Shanna's voice. "Wh..What is it?" Seeing her in pain he rubs his cheek against hers, its the best he knows to do, and watches in amazement at the two baskets. "They are beautiful, Shanna." He nudges both closer to Shanna, "I will be back."
