I got the flu yesterday, which happened to be my birthday, and today I feel wretched and puky and and and old!
crying
So I wanted to whine about it.
I've been sitting in my bedroom drinking salt-ginger-water and watching hulu all day.
I was logged on Gaia for like.. ever, but I just lurked around like a lurker.
Good news is the LoTS episode with Richards real dad was a lot better than that mummy one.
(Gross that he was friends with Zedd, considering he raped his daughter and sired Richard.)
Bad news is I feel like a monday morning in tartarus and I'm being all meh meh meh to you guys.
At least I know that Xena isn't invincible either, and succumbs to many ailments throughout the show. Coma, gimp leg, poison dart, the loss of Argo, death, eternal damnation, lice, temporary blindness, stomach virus, and traveling with Joxer.
Half gods get sick too, sometimes.
But wanna do me a favor by telling me whats going on in the world outside my sick-nest?

That sucks - a lot. I hope you feel better ^^
As for the real world, the only real world I know is full of homework, then no sleep, then class, then work, then homework, then no sleep, eat, repeat! Thank the gods there's only a week and a half left!

As long as we're in a thread made for whining....
I would feel bad for you honey, but I'm too busy being sorry for myself. I spent my birthday alone, in a state of critical depression, until my mom got home, yelled at me for not wanting to celebrate, threw my cake in the garbage, snatched away my present (lord only knows what happened to it), and spent the rest of the evening occupying my sister (the last nice person in the world) with her sobbing and long-distance guilt tripping me from the other room, while I tried to tune it out and go to sleep. xp
I think, between the two of us, we probably had the worst birthday ever. ninja sweatdrop

Sorry about the flu thing. sad That's not such a great birthday present.
In the real world, I've been keeping myself busy by keeping score at my high school's softball games. It's nice to hang out with the girls I haven't really seen since I graduated and get to meet some of the newer people. Good times. XD They're really funny.
I've also been spazzing about coming to meet you guys this summer!!!!

Cage- Tanku, I wish you luck with your man-eating college piles of homework.
Duck- Sad. sad I had some friends over for dinner and a small bonfire, but they left before I started feeling really sick. So it was pretty pleasant except for puking the next morning and becoming delirious and super weak.
So, for the record, I think you chkrmd my birthday on the pity scale.

Skillsys- Hahaha, I was almost a hockey score keeper, but I was intimidated by the chaos of the game. Yeah! Even though I already know you look/sound like, it'll still be great and murderful cool!

I don't know why I agreed to be the scorekeeper. I can handle doing the board where you just have to push a button but it's really hard for me to keep up with the scorebook. Especially when I'd rather talk to the girls on the bench rather than actually pay attention to the game. XP And hockey is very, very chaotic. I wouldn't want to try to keep score for that. lol
