 Finally! Their haul of fish had finally gotten pulled in. Good food was sure to follow soon. I wonder if Taji is a good cook Ace thought to himself. Maybe once we reach shore I'll get to find out~ A silly smile spread across his face as he thought about that... but at the same time he wasn't sure why he even thought that.
"Okay.. So how do we want our fish today?" He was at least good for heating them up. Sitting down, Ace starts pulling out fish and tossing them in nearby barrel. He also managed to find a boot, a ripped up Jolly Roger, a fish head, and a couple other small things. "What kinda catch is this?" he snorted as he held up a pair of underwear. Being mischievous and looking for trouble, he tossed them at Taji's face.

Taji watched as a big grin spread across Ace's face. oh boy, what's he thinking about now? She walks over and looks up at the sail and then back to Ace as he talks. "Well until we can get to shore, let's go with the usual." She grabs her knife and a few fish and cuts them up. "Here ya go. You wanna cook 'em?"
She tosses the fish over to him and goes back to looking out at the ocean. "So, which direction are we heading next Sailor?" She asks as she turn back to face him. Hopefully we're not just going in circles out here.

Ace gives a pout as the underwear don't make their mark for Taji's face, floating out to the ocean once more. He was even more bummed at the fact that she didn't even notice... Ah well... Giving a childish pout he gets back into gear and shakes his hat off letting his hair blow in the cool sea breeze.
"The usual it is Taji!~" He catches the pieces she throws to him, setting all but one down and works his magic. His fist starts getting hot and the flames start to brown the fish quickly. Tossing it up in the air he catches it once more on the other side and gets it a nice golden color. "Heads up Taji!" Ace tosses her the first piece then picks up another.
"We should be meeting some land soon. I saw some birds a few minutes ago that only stick close to a coastline. My guess is we'll either make port or find a beach of sorts soon." He finishes browning the piece in his hand and bite it then slurps it in. He chews thoughtfully then swallows.

Sorry. I forgot about the underwear thing.
"What are you sighing about?" she looks around but doesn't see anything. probably better not to ask.she chuckles a bit to herself and watches as Ace cooks the fish. "Hey Ace, what do you think the chances are of finding another one of those magic fruits?"
She grabs the fish in her mouth as Ace tosses to her and takes a bite looking up at the sky as Ace talks about the birds. "really? hmm. I hope there's something fun to do there. you know, like there was before. Only, maybe a nice beach or a bit bigger port to visit with more sailors, or maybe even more pirates?" she looks back to Ace with a glimmer of excitement in her eyes.

Ace perked his ears back up then laughed. "Nothing Taji.. just.. yeah." His eyes darted from her to the direction the underwear blew, almost relieved now that they were gone. "Just something.. flying by." A snicker came out and he tried his best not to give himself away too much.
Heating up his fist again, he starts cooking up some more fish. "Well.. instead of taking a day off since we already had our fun we can just head out." He turned the piece over to get the other side browned. Blowing on it to cool it down he tossed it to her. "I don't know about you, but as much as I like fish I sure could go for something different!" Ace stretched his arms out and yawned, his tongue rolling out of his mouth. "Man! All this fresh air sure can knock you on your a**!"

Taji grabs the second fish and sets it down as she finishes the first. "Something, flying by?" She looks around at the sky and then in the ocean. "You better not be playing some trick on me! )8< She fumes at him then falls over as well. "A change in pace would be nice, wouldn't it? I could sure go for a drink right now." She starts in on the second fish and yawns after Ace does.
"Don't be complaining now. The fresh air will do good for you. Besides, I can't think that being inside constantly would be good for you, you'll probably burn something down eventually." She looks back up to the sky and watches the clouds in the air. "so it's settled then, shall we try and make land by nightfall?

Ace's ears flicker backwards and he averted his eyes for a moment. "Don't be mad at me Taji... it wasn't anything... that bad." He stifled a laugh quickly because he was pretty much lying right there. Underwear in the face?! That would have been horrid. Now he was totally relieved by them missing her.... she may not have had a Devil's Fruit ability, but somehow he had a fear of her anyways... like a guy normally would when it comes to his lover anyways xD
"I wasn't complaining." He whined a bit. "It's just that sometimes all the fresh air makes me feel exhausted." he laughs and flopped down on the deck and took in a deep breath.
Ace let it out slowly and sat back up, watching the water's edge and grinned... they are getting closer to the land nearby. "Should only be a matter of maybe an hour or so before we hit the shore. I see the coast right over there." He pointed so Taji could spot it as well.

Taji chuckles a bit at Ace's reaction. "Oh come now, you know I couldn't get too mad at you. Annoyed...possibly, but never mad." |3 She watches as Ace flops down and then sits back up.
"Land?" She looks over in the direction he was pointing and sees shore off in the distance with trees and what seems to be some buildings. "Oh hey! It looks like there's a port right there!" She jumps over to one side of the boat to get a better look at the shore.
"Looks like we're ahead of schedule then. Aren't we?" She lays back down over by Ace and starts to think about what to do when they arrive. "I can't wait to get there, I wonder what kind of adventures are waiting for us. Maybe we'll get to see more pirates." 8D

With a sigh of relief he grinned at her. "I can live with annoying you!" Which was the truth... He thrived on annoying his little brother when he saw him so he needed someone he could annoy from time to time with Luffy not being around.
He gave her a nod as his eyes stared at the land that was getting closer and closer with each minute. He wondered what kind of place it was... and if he would run into trouble again. He laughed at that thought, then tugged Taji to him, wrapping his arms around her and laying back against the side of the boat.
"By a bit I think. The current seems to kinda be rushing the boat towards that place. Seems like nature likes me for once." His paw slid down her back and he give her a** a couple little playful smacks and smirks. "So do we have any money left? I can't remember. Maybe we can sell some of our fish to make a quick buck if we need to." He laughs at her excitement at meeting more pirates. Her enthusiasm was cute, but the fact of the matter was that even most other pirates would love to try and turn him in for the bounty on his head.

Taji lets out a small gasp as Ace tugs her close and smacks her a** playfully. "hey now, how about we save that for later?" wink She chuckles a bit and turns her head to look at Ace. "We may have a little bit left, I really can't remember either.
She giggles when Ace mentions selling their fish for some money. "Weeelllll, we could. Or, did you forget that you're a pirate. Besides if where we're going DOES have any pirates around, I'm sure someone like me..." She starts to tease Ace and nibbles at him a bit then stops suddenly. "...Could easily gain their trust and turn them in for an even bigger buck."
She looks past Ace towards the shore and sees that the port is already considerably closer. "wow, this town is a lot bigger than I thought, it must be at least a few times bigger than that last one." She scans the coastline seeing people off in the distance going about their work. "I think we can have lots of "fun" here." She grins and puts her head back down on Ace's body.

"I guess we could do that." Ace laughs then gives her a slightly serious look. "Well missy.. even though I'm a pirate I can't go getting into trouble everywhere. We're not all the crazy S.o.B.s everyone thinks we are."
Ace stops to think for a moment and grins. "Let's just find out what kind of place we're dealing with first Taji" l'D
His gaze falls to the coastline and he feel ready for land and food. The scenery is pleasant and the town was much bigger... giving them a chance to at least enjoy themselves here for a bit... provided no Marines or other pirates give them trouble. He thought Then again Taji seems to live for that stuff
He laughs to himself and stands up to stretch. "Time to get this baby ready to make port!" He climbs up to the crow's nest to scope out a good place to try and dock. After to spies a place he jumps down and goes to the boat's helm. "We're gonna dock just off the starboard!"

Taji sighs as Ace talks. "Well that's no fun." She gives him a smug look as he jumps up the crow's nest and back down to the helm of the small boat.
She dashes after him up to the front and looks ahead to the shore. "so anything you need me to do?" She watches as he gets the ship ready to dock.
"Hey, before we get to shore, tell me; you're a pirate, you have the power to shoot flames out of your paws, and I'm sure you've used it plenty of times before. So, how much is a bounty on your head anyway? I mean, I'm not planning on turning you in, I would never do that." She giggles a bit "I'm just curious is all."

Ace rolls his eyes at her disappointment with a small smile. What a chick she is he thought to himself. "Ummm... how about looking out up front for me so I can bring in our little boat without killing it on and hidden rocks!" he laughed.
His ears flicker back and pin against his hair at her question. He gives a little smirk then beamed with pride, puffing out his chest. "My last known bounty was at about four hundred million Beli." The thought of how jealous Luffy would be at the amount of his bounty compared just about sent him into stitches. After a minute or so he regained his composure and grinned at Taji. "I am one of the most wanted pirates in the world.. believe it or not. I just don't always go looking for trouble cause it finds me all too easily."
Ace's eyes started to focus on the shoreline as their small boat got closer and closer. He steered the boat carefully around obstacles he could see, then pointed to the bow. "Taji.. go to the bow! Keep an eye out for me!"

"Aye aye captain!" Taji snickered a bit as she said this and ran over to the front of the small ship to keep an eye out for hidden rocks and other debris.
"F-four Hundred million?" She stammered. "Hmph" She quickly regained composure in time to spot a big rock underneath the water. "Hey Ace! Big one right in front of us!" She pointed towards the rock so Ace could see it in time to avoid it. "Anyway, I figured someone like you would be worth a bit more, doncha think?"
She hopped back down to the center of the small boat as they made dock and went down into their quarters to get what little money they had left and any other items they had left down there. "Alrighty then Sailor, let's get to shore!"

Ace smirked as Taji took her spot as look out. It felt good to have someone calling him captain again... it had been a long time since he had traveled with anyone else, so this adventure was making him happy in more than one way.
He waggled his eyebrows at her. "Didn't see that bounty coming did yah?" Then at her directions he steered the boat over to the right.. and luckily made it past the rock. "Thank you First Mate!" He saluted her playfully, then bobbed his head side to side. "I guess so." He laughed to himself.
After they finally made it into dock, he slipped away from the helm and roped a nearby rock. He made sure it was secure on the boat end then jumped off, just barely making past the water. "Oh s**t!" He leaned himself forward and falls into the sand. He breathed a sigh of relief then scooted himself away from the water. @@;;; "M'kay Taji.... Just.. need.. a moment..." Ace rolled over on his back and took a deep breath. "Okay... Let's go." He picked himself up and headed towards the town, only pausing for a moment to look back to see if Taji was following.
