After wandering the Crime Syndicate's halls for about an hour I stumbled upon what seemed to be their armory. I gazed upon the massive amounts of blades, guns, armor, and so much more. It was actually quite astounding. At first I was little hesitant about joining the Syndicate's ranks since I was so used to the little that I had, but now I know that this was a great opportunity and that I should take advantage of it.
I figured that my scythe could use a little sharpening. It's been quite awhile since I've even polished it. I took my scythe by the grip and slid it out of it's carrying case on my back. I used both hand to spin it a couple of times. It made a circle of silver. When the scythe came to a stop I then noticed how worn my scythe was... Many scratches, chips out of the wooden grip, and the blade was rather dull. It looked more like a relic than a weapon right now. That's when I noticed a scythe on top hook of the left wall. It had a black handle and it's blade was new and silver.
I knew it was time to put my old scythe to rest. I walked over to the left wall. I stared at the magnificent scythe. It was quite beautiful. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I finally took the scythe off of its' hook and I replaced it with my old one.
The handle was refreshingly cold. It felt right. Me joining the syndicate felt right.
