Kai walked through the streets of Rukongai, gathering information and different things. He went district to district, asking many Patrons the same questions, even paying some. He found where the arrancar was staying and searched the house finding it deserted. He could feel and hear in his head Kurosame's snickering and mocking laughter. He cursed and left the house. Finding nothing of value though he gave up his search in the area after many hours. He cursed as he left Rukongai and headed back to the barracks defeated.
