About RP

I fail at defining this, so I am going to quote Wikipedia here: "A role-playing game is a game in which the participants assume the roles of characters and collaboratively create stories. Participants determine the actions of their characters based on their characterization, and the actions succeed or fail according to a formal system of rules and guidelines. Within the rules, they may improvise freely; their choices shape the direction and outcome of the games."

3. If you are not part of a PRP, then do not post in it.

Magic/Abilities
Rockhounds are telepaths.

Rockhounds can move rocks that are the same type as themselves as easily as if they were a part of their own body. Rockhounds can make barriers with them, attack with them, or construct makeshift stairs, or pretty much anything imaginable with that kind of rock.

Rockhounds can also sense whatever a rock that's the same type as them has. For example, if a thief stole something from a geology museum and no one was there to see it, a rockhound could've seen it, even if it wasn't around to witness the crime itself.

Gemstone, Igneous, Sandstone, Sedimentary, and Miscellanous rockhounds have additional abilities, because of their mixed heritage.

Gemstone, Igneous, and Sandstone rockhounds are all able to fly.

Gemstone rockhounds can shapeshift. Technically, all rockhounds can, which is why when ascended ones look so different from eachother, but the Gemstone race specializes in it; though, they tend to settle on two forms. They can also make illusions, temporarily blind others with flashes of light, and shoot lasers - it has been noted that rubies, garnets, and sapphires are especially good at it. They can heal physical damage too.

Igneous rockhounds can manipulate fire and find truffles by scent.

Sandstone rockhounds can manipulate air and anything containing silicon, such as but not limited to sand. They also have a syrinx like birds and can say more than one thing at the same time, because of it. This, their opposite element heritage, and an appearance that other rockhounds thought of as a bird of prey has earned them a reputation for being evil. Ironically, they're able to create the most powerful barriers.

Sedimentary rockhounds can manipulate water and anything containing water, such as but not limited to sediments. They can also heal psychological wounds.

Miscellaneous rockhounds can manipulate shadows. If they're desperate, then they can increase the probability of an unlikely event occuring, but it half-kills them and it's suicidal to do it twice in a row. They can also navigate perfectly, even when there's no light for their eyes to detect, because they use echolocation.
