Team Rocket Grunt, Faleen, reporting for duty. From what she could see, she was the first one to arrive at the storage garage were all the vehicles Team Rocket had were kept She knew she was in the right place; here she was going to meet her team mate, the one named Damon that would be sharing this mission with her. The thudding of her boots made the only sound echoing around the garage so far. This said to her that perhaps he wasn’t here yet. Figuring she was just a couple if minutes early, Faleen took a few moment to relax while she waited. The female grunt let out a slight sigh as the bag on her back was shifted from her shoulders, sliding the gray pack down her arm to place it on the ground in front of her boots, then shifted her team rocket jacket, draping it over the fore of her arms. Faleen wore the standard issued grunt winter uniform, for the cold weather. The uniform looked as crisp as ever; worn with care. The girl wearing it however didn’t seem to be in the same condition. Though her eyes were alert, light hazel gaze moving slowly around the room to the different machines and vehicles Team Rocket possessed, the tone of her skin looked a little pale, with uneven blotches of pink on her cheeks and darker bags under her eyes. Even her hair looked like it just didn’t want to stay brushed. Her stance was also off, shoulder sagged, posture lax, and a little hunched. Faleen hadn’t slept much the night before, almost relating to feelings to being nervous about a test next morning at school, only no school test was nearly as important as this, not to her anyway. There was a lot going through her mind, thoughts that only grew weary of tormenting her when it was merely four hours from when she had to wake. Her side was acting up a lot, finding that the more her heart beat, the more the healing wound throbbed. She hoped once they got a move on she would be able to ignore it better. Aside from that, she was ready. Or at least, she would be once her team mate showed up. Swaying softly, Faleen glanced around, making sure she wasn’t just missing someone. then, stepping gingerly around her bag, the grunt made her way over to one of the vehicles, head tilting slightly as she moved around it, studying the machine curiously.

Zach had been told about this mission only 1 hour before it was scheduled to start, he knew the reason he was going was due to his reaction from that Team Galactic b*****d. Ugh. The mere thought of him being in the same building as that bowl cut son of a muk left a bitter taste in his mouth.
Even though there was only 1 hour to prepare, Zach had no intention of being unprepared. Therefore, he had packed plenty of supplies for winter travel, 3 sets of winter rocket attire, a bucket load of ice heals, and various other pokemon supplies. As such, Zach got there a little late, 10 minutes to be exact.
As he walked in, backpack bulging obscenely from the large quantities of stuff packed, Zach noticed another grunt in the room, examining the vehicle they were probably using. "Hey, sorry I'm late. I was told to replace somebody for this at the last minute but I hate being unprepared, especially for something like this."

The time had nearly slipped her mind, unaware of how late the other grunt was until she heard brisk bootfalls coming into the garage, and sudden explanation. Straightening up herself, and turning her attention away from the vehicles to face the man. He had a grunt uniform on like the one she was wearing, blond hair, taller then she was, and he had a bag that looked quite full. She would have assumed this was Damon, except for the fact that he had said that he was there replacing someone. "Your replacing Damon then?" She questioned, "what happened to him?"

At the mention of Damon's name, Zach raised his eyebrow. "Damon? THAT'S who I'm replacing?" he laughed incredulously, "It's funny, because the last time I saw him, he had to be replaced then as well. I don't know why I replaced him, but it certainly makes me curious."

Faleen’s eyebrows arched slightly, “oh I see.” That certainly made her curious as well, such a quick change of plans like that, and she hadn’t been told about it… but she was just a grunt, why would they bother having to tell her? with a small incline of her head, Faleen reached up to push her unruly lock of hair back behind her ear, walking over to the other grunt. “ So it looks like you’ll be going with me then. I’ve got that you’re not Damon-” she started, pausing directly in front of her bag before she reached down to heave it up with difficulty. “My name is Faleen if you haven’t already been told, and you are…?”

"My name is Zach, nice to meet you." He held out his hand, offering for the age old gesture of polite greeting. "Here's hoping we get along better than my last pairing." He managed to both grin and wince slightly at his mention of that.

Her Hazel eyes fell onto his hand when it was offered to her, but upon his last remark, seeing him wince ever so slightly pulled a slight grin from her. “Yes, let’s hope we do.” She commented, looking quite amused. “If we can’t then we can at least agree that the mission is first and foremost. I’m hoping we get there find that bag quickly and get back.” It was then that she offered a smile, a tired smile but still polite, reaching her own gloved hand out to take his. She wanted this to work after all, if they didn’t get along it would be a lot harder. “On that note, it’s good to meet you Zach.” Pulling her hand away to reach into her pocket, pulling something out that jingled lightly. “Are you ready to head out?” she questioned, holding up the keys to the vehicle they would be taking.

Zach smiled lightly, "Yes, I'm good to go." after this, he grinned slyly, as though making a joke. "I took an extra 10 minutes to be sure." With that, Zach took his backpack out and slinged it into the back of the vehicle they were taking, then took his place in the passenger side of the vehicle. "Oh, before I forget. This was a point of contention between my last partner and I, so when we come across pokemon, how do you want to determine who gets it? Is there a specific pokemon or type you have in mind? I know that's not why we are out here, but it would be good to address this I think."

"Good" she replied with a smile of her own, hitching her bag up once more and starting toward the driver side. It might be silly, but she was so looking forward to driving a vehicle again. Faleen moves slower then he did, from the other side of the car she glanced up to him through the open door when he brought up a concern of his about pokemon, sliding her bag off and climbing in stiffly and carefully. "I'm not interested in anything but dark types" she answered simply "If we run into a dark type that I might want, I -will- do everything in my power to obtain it, anything else, is yours" Making herself comfortable in the seat, she reached down to slide the key in the ignition, pausing only to give him a side glance, and a small smile "does that sound fare?"

"That sounds more than reasonable, I can certainly agree to that." Zach replied. "Besides, I have a dark pokemon, so if you prefer them over others, I think you would be better off with it since I'm trying to make a team that is elementally balanced." Zach buckled his seatbelt as he said this.

Pleased to hear that he agreed, Faleen turned the key, holding it as the vehicle started up. "well, I think so far so good" commenting on the fact that they made an agreement quite easily. "so you have a dark type huh? what is it?" she asked, glancing Over him as she pulled them into reverse after letting the exit open.

"My dark type? It's a Spiritomb. I'm really pleased to have gotten him, they are pretty rare, not to mention powerful. The fact that they have no conventional weaknesses is also very neat." As he said this, he watched as they pulled out, looking over the desert landscape as he was talking animatedly about his Spiritomb. He was obviously quite happy about his newest addition.

She probably would have been interested in any dark type he said, but hearing about him owning a Spiritomb eared him a glance, taking her eyes off the land ahead of them for just a moment, her eyes wide, lips parted slightly. "Oh yes, I'm quite aware of that particular pokemon" she said, turning back to the road "its a must for dark type trainers, and Sableye, I wouldn't mind seeing one of those" she was impressed, it could be heard in her voice. "so you've got that pokemon, since we're going to be working together for a while, what other pokemon do you have?"

"The only other pokemon I have is Yasu, my Espeon. I raised him from an egg, and for awhile now, it's been the only pokemon I've had until Ishiyu, my Spiritomb." He noticed her reaction, and was pleased that she seemed impressed. "I'm hoping to pick up more pokemon on this mission, as you could probably tell since those are the only 2 I have right now. What pokemon do you have?"

Her reaction to the Espeon wasn't nearly as interested, for a moment she didn't even make a movement or look that she had even heard what his second pokemon was. Instead she sat up a little higher, peering out of the front windshield. "If you get the opportunity you should go for it, going to be enough Ice types up there." pausing another moment before he asked what her pokemon were "I have an Umbreon and a Shuppet" she answered. Settling back into her seat with a soft sigh. It felt good being in control of something mechanical again, she could feel the power rumbling under her, and grasped in her hands, Faleen tapped her thumb on the wheel fondly a few times, enjoying the beautiful sound of the engine revving as she sped up a little more.
