LittleWind carefully strolled along the dirt path, observing the blades of grass that grew by, the flowers, the sky, and all the wonders she never knew in the meadow she used to live in with her parents. Upon reaching adulthood, she had finally decided to take the world into her own hooves, and part ways from her parents and brothers. With a tear filled goodbye, Windy set on her journey, not knowing her path, but instead, taking her where the wind guided her. She was named LittleWind for a reason afterall. An ache still exsisted in her heart, for she had left behind those she loved, but she had to set off someday. She would go back someday, someday as a grown mare. Maybe even with.. a family of her own.
Windy shook these thoughts from her head however, blushing abit as she thought about mating or having foals with a stallion. That type of love was still a foreign concept to Windy. She didn't understand sometimes you liked things just because well.. you liked them. She never had the chance to figure it out. And today was not going to be a day for her to be able to figure it out either.
"Oh wow.." Windy gasped as her hooves stepped into soft sand, lifting them in and out, amazed by the softness and how she seemed to sink into it. The beige tone almost matched the sandy tone on her rump and neck. "OH WOW!" Windy gazed around in such wonder, her gray eyes filled with such amazement. The air, the wind, they all changed! Even the water! Look at that! This is a beach! Gosh it was so amazing! Windy had never been to one with her parents, so the sea was so new to her. She quickly abandoned her worries for another day, leaping into the sand and laughing, her deer tail waggling excitedly as she galloped at full speed across the sands, slowed by them, but not caring at the least. The fresh sea air! The soft sand between the split in her cloven hooves! All was right.

Sena stood close to the water's edge, poking one yellow green hoof into the wet sand. It felt so different from the warm, dry stuff he'd tumbled out of his basket onto. Everything was still so new to him, and he wanted to explore it but at the same time he wanted another nap. That big ball of orange in the sky - the sun, he remembered - felt so warm on his spotted white coat. It made him even sleepier. Poking again at the wet sand, he wondered how it would feel against pastel rainbow stomach. He started to kneel in it, but stood back up almost immediately. It was cold! He didn't want to lay in that.
Slowly, he made his way away from the wet sand and into the dry part that he knew would be warm. He lay down in the warmth and let it soak into his skin as he wiped the remnants of the wet sand off of his knees with his muzzle. From his comfortable position, he looked around the beach and could see another horse in the distance, though he couldn't tell whether it was a male or female yet. So much of the horse's coloration blended in with the sand, three of the legs and the mane stood out, the darker colors framed well against the sand and pale blue sky. Perhaps he should go say hello...but it was so warm where he was...

LittleWind laughed wildly as she ran through the sands, feeling sprays of sand she dislodged brushing against her legs, warm, the ocean tides crashing rythmicly alongside her. All was well, in her exploration, everything was going according to plan. Then one thing made Windy skid to a halt, and squint. Ah, no. She was wrong. All was going way beyond well! There was a foal in the distance! Ears perking up in joy, she began approaching, soon realizing it was a colt. She laughed, waggling her tail, watching the little one sit and watch.
"Hiya! What'cha doing here little one? You look really comfy." She observed, smiling brightly as she stopped a short distance from him, gray eyes shining curiously. "My name's LittleWind! I just found the beach a moment ago! Do you live here? Where are your parents? How old are you?" She asked quickly, smiling brightly and hopping alittle almost, waggling her deer tail side to side. Windy had gotten abit of control over her frantic questions in the past few months, but she was still quite fast in her speech, and very chattery. She just loved talking and getting to know people. She waiting semi-patiently for the little colt to answer her, smiling at him.

Sena smiled as he watched the other horse run in the sand. It looked like they were having fun until suddenly, they skidded to a stop. Moment later, the mare - for as she came closer, Sena could see it was indeed a mare - headed in his direction and stopped in front of him. He smiled up at her as she spoke to him and laughed as she shot question after question at him.
"Ha-hi!" he said brightly, still new to this speaking thing. "M-my name is Sen..Sena, n-nice to meet you!" Planting his front hooves firmly in the sand, he lifted first his front half, then the back out of the sand. "My mother is over there," he said and nodded farther down the beach behind him when his mother sat with his siblings. He paused for a moment, trying to remember what else she had asked him in her flurry of questions. "Oh! I'm not that old, I left my basket not long ago." He blinked up at her. "How old are you?"

LittleWind laughed as the little colt stuttered alittle, adoring the little one and how he acted already. Windy had always loved foals afterall. They were so cute! And this one was surely no exception! She had to adore the little pastel rainbow spots going on. They intrigued her interest, and caught her attention. Ah, how she loved rainbows.
Shaking her head free of all these stray thoughts however, she focused her attention back to the colt, bouncing on her hooves. This little guy was like her brother! He didn't have cloven hooves or a deer-like ear, nor fluffy ears. Though RhyRhy had little horns when he was little, and this one didn't. "It's nice to meet you too! You remind me of my brother! Really? She's here? So you live here! Wow this place is so amazing! It must be awesome living here! I lived in a meadow with my mommy and daddy!" She exclaimed, babbling quickly again, cheerfully expressing her thoughts to the little one. "That's so cute! Me? I guess you'd consider me a new mare! I just grew old enough to travel away from my family and search the world! I'm having alot of fun doing so too! Do you ever wanna search the world when you're older?" She asked, hopping alittle again, smiling brightly.
