Heh, so I got this question from watching the absolutely ridiculous RENT videos from Chris Trew and Arthur Simone. I was wondering, have any of you performed a RENT song, for school, or just for fun? And, was it videotaped or in front of an audience? I have never myself, but I hope too. whee

I choreographed a dance for Out Tonight to do at my choir's fall show. I wasn't very prepared so it didn't get in.
In my English class, I did this interperative dance to Will I. I got an A for my project because according to my teacher, "That was the most creative thing I've ever seen done by a student."

choirgal I choreographed a dance for Out Tonight to do at my choir's fall show. I wasn't very prepared so it didn't get in.
In my English class, I did this interperative dance to Will I. I got an A for my project because according to my teacher, "That was the most creative thing I've ever seen done by a student." Heh, I'd like to see that interperative dance. ^_^ And the choreography for "Out Tonight".

[ Amputated Freckle ] I would if I could, but I can't D: Actually, I have performed Seasons of Love, but that song is so non-Rent-ish it doesn't count >.< I wouldn't call "Seasons of Love" non-RENT-ish, but it's true that it's the most sung piece from RENT; which makes it lose its RENT affiliations...I suppose? There's this great tower at the mall where they say whats on sale and what not. When the board is blank, I would love to go up there and video tape "Out Tonight". xD ....Yeah, I'm a crazy dork.

I have majorly considered performign a bunch of songs with my friends. But our musical director for the showcase I'm in is majorly strict and doesn't want too many "new" musicals. So, w're stuck doing Annie Get Your Gun and The Music Man...*twitch*
I think that Take Me or Leave Me would be a blast to do though!

My friends & I want to find a person we know who owns a cafe so we can do La Vie Boheme. I think it would be fun to dance on the tables! mrgreen

Once I went with a few of my Rent-loving friends down to Seattle, we found a cafe` and we performed La Vie Boheme for the people. I got to be Mimi because she's my favourite. <333

I got to be Mimi because she's my favourite. <333 I wish I was brave enough to do that .___. I would want to be Angel Except I'm a girl So the crossdressing bit doesn't quite work And I'm as white as they get, not a schmexy latina, so I can't be Mimi And I have an ugly a** so I can't be Maureen And ditto the white thing for Joanne Oi vey, what a predicament

We wanted our school play to be Rent, but that didnt go over so well with the teachers xd I really want to learn Angel's dance moves Wilson is such an incredible dancer I was sad when I watched the OBC bootleg that he didn't do more dancing But I guess singing is hard when you're dancing >.< But I loved the cool bellydancing thing he does in LVB on the OBC bootleg It's awesome O:

I sang Out Tonight for Thespian Conference this year for my individual event. I didn't make best of fest but I did get to excellents and to goods, so it wasn't too bad. Oh i did a little bit of choreography for that number too, nothing amazing though.
