HISTORY!
Legio existed for many many years, infact no one alive now would even remember a founding member so someone who knew a founding member. It is said that the colition was created by four different creatures. Each one had their own vision of what made perfection. Talking with one another they came to the conclusion that theyshould creat a colition with four houses. The colition would welcome every species and use the four seperate houses to maximize the use of each of their members.
There was Coraggio, a large feirce lion. Coraggio values strength and bravery in the members of his house. He pushed his members hard and always took great pride in the fact that his house was the one that provide food and security for the whole collition. He thought of himself as the means of survival for everyone.
Fideliaitis was a smaller cheetah, though her size never held her back. Fideliaitis was though of as having a silver tounge and some still swear to this day that she really did have one, as that is the story that has been passed down. Fideliaitis valued the ability to speak well and friendliness. He felt that without his house the collition would never be able to recruit new members. Those who belong to this house also tend to be very polically minded.
Dolosus was a leopard. Even from early cubhood Dolosus had a way with herbs. As he grew older Dolosus began to dabble more and more with herbs and by the time he met the other founders of Legio Dolosus was a very talented healer. Those who fit well into Dolosus' house are individuals who want to experiment with herbs, and have a natural ability for healting. Dolosus felt his house was important because with out him and his members, the colliton members would fall ill all the time and have no on to heal and take care of them. Not to mention that because of the Natalis in his house, the rate of mortaltiy of cubs and mothers during birth.
Consillio was the final founding member, an older cheetah who had spent her life learning all he could, about everything. Consillio loved to teach and valued any knowledge that others had to offer. She recuited members to her house that had a desire for knowledge. Also Consillio being a seerer herself had a special fondess for seers and the knowledge they possessed. Consillio felt that his house brought something to the pride that was irriplaceable without him and his house the pride would probably lose knowledge as it aged. There was also the special aditions of his seers whose telents were indicpencible. It was only in Consillio's house that members had special powers.

Long ago, before the first know plague struck the southern tip of Africa, four prides lived in a time of War. Each of these prides was new into the area - families settling into an area with similar strength.
The four great clans were in a stalemate - each with a great leader presiding over them. Coraggio, Fidelitatis, Consillio, and Dolosus.
The families that joined with Coraggio were inspiried by his bravery, a powerful kind he would be if he could take over these lands. They were warriors at heart, and believed they had a sole right to the lands. The golden lion characteristically sported a mane of flames, according to legend.
Fidelitatis was a small wild dog with a powerfully kind heart. The beautiful dog was simply a beatiful gold in nature, with eyes as back as coal. She worked hard with what she did, and the families that followed her to the lands loved her and adored the hardworking area. She believed they should split the lands against everyone to make for a peaceful home. Unfortunately, the others ignored her.
An strong-minded female - Consillio - conterbalanced the others. The glue and bronze cheetah had a stragetic mind, and could no doubt out-manuever the other leaders with her mind. The families that followed her cared much about learning and the workings of the area, meticulous and studious. With their leader quick on her mind as well as her feet, they had a way to take the lands for themselves.
The last pride leader, Dolosus carried families skilled with poisons and healing, hoping to take over the area by killing off the other prides that would get in the way. The green male with marks of silver believed the lands were rightfully his, claiming them left to him from his father.
And so they fought. Their fighting was a stalemate - each leader looked on in horror ask their numbers dwindled, none winning and none losing, but no one wanted to give in, no one wanted to leave the lands.
On twentieth day of the third spring of the war, a small white lion stepped forward as the leaders turned to fight each other. He had sad, silver eyes. None recognized the cub though, as he looked upon them. "I am Patronus," he said with a tired voice, like that of an elder. As though he saw to much in his life for one so young. And he had. He shook his head, as if patronizing them without words.
"Is this what you do?" He asked, his voice pleading. "Fight? All the time? Can't you see you need eachother?" He asked as stars glittered from his eyes. He shook his head again, disgusted and limped away. Yes, that's what the great leaders needed. Someone to tell them how wrong they were.
So instead of gnashing at one another's throats, they came together, setting aside their difference to come together. They fit together wonderfully, and they could grow from eachother. So they mixed, forming a close bond with eachother.
This many springs, bringing new lives into such a wonderful coalition.
However, the children of the leaders held a bitter hate for each other and harbored the hate in their children. Generations for hatred continued down the line until one of the houses decided to do something.
Nertodenecro he called himself, a member of Dolosus. His hate was so strong for the other house leaders, so one night - he brewed poisons, perfect for each of the leaders and killed them in the night.
He was clever though. He played on the other's leaders strengths to make the deaths look as if they came from members of the other houses - fleeing himself.
The coalition wrought up in chaos, blame was cast on each of the houses and fighting commenced once again. Anger and mourning clouding sympathy and love. Couples were split in the fray and killed if caught together.
Once again, the pride dwindled in numbers until only a few remained, and they to fled from the lands they once called their home.
One female, a young cheetah, found his unacceptable. She grew strong in the time of fighting, looked over by the familiar of her mother - a serval. Hetal'Aspasia, she was called, her caretaker Konata.
With the last straggling fighters, they were separated. Hetal was lost, confused. The daughter of a leader - the heir to a coalition that no longer existed.
She traveled aimlessly until the coalition could be reformed.
Her luck was changed upon meeting a tired seer called Mufasa who foresaw the pride's re-formation. They banded together, newly inspired and seeping with energy, they pulled together a pride with new ideas on how to work together. To depend on each other.
Slowly, the life began to return to the coalition, to the lands at the tip of the continent. New life would begin.
