Mana wandered the lands, but it was more because she didn't have anything to do than wanting to really roam them. She resisted visiting her children within the Ela'wadiyi lands, as the pain of Tawa'di gone was too much to bear. She had never been too much of a fan of the Haven, as it made her recall bad memories from perhaps a century or more ago. Restless, she had wandered the lands, never hiding who she was, but it also backfired. Most lions didn't want to get near a god; she couldn't blame them. Gods were off creatures, and powerful enough to warrant that feeling of danger and avoidance.
She reclined along a small stream, glancing upwards to notice the hills and mountains in the distance. Perhaps she would see if anyone lingered there anymore, though it had been quite a while since she last visited.

"No no. It gets warm on occasion..." She tried not to sigh as she answered her companions questions. At least -she- didn't think it stayed cold all the time but she'd been born in the area and was used to it. She was sure that Moshi would get used to it eventually. It would be her home from now on after all. "You'll see when you get there. Plenty of time to adjust and learn before you have to deal with any ruling or anything"She wasn't really -regretting- following Sahala but it was just so different. "Are you sure? I've never been somewhere cold before ..." The Pridelands were always warm and she rather liked it. Knowing she'd be ruling, best not to think about that yet, when it was winter wasn't helping either. "What if i'm not good enough?" The two females were so lost in their own conversation that they didn't notice the bright yellow Goddess not far from the path they were taking

Mana's ears perked as she heard tidbits of conversation. It was hard to really hear anything in detail, more like just mumblings that were dimmed by distance. She lifted her head, seeing two...well, not quite opposites, but two lionesses that were different enough to be endearing.
She looked attentive as they approached her general direction, wondering when it would be good to interfere their conversation with a little 'hello'. It couldn't be too rude, she'd seen mortals do it all the time.
Ahh, now? "Hello," she called out, her wings folded against her side, forepaws laying out together as she watched carefully.

"You'll do fine." She almost rolled her eyes. That had to be the hundredth time she'd answered that question. "I explained it all ..." Her words were cut off as she heard someone call out to them. Her head quickly followed the swivel of her ears as she looked toward the strange lion.
".... Hello." She'd never seen a lion with wings before but she vaguely remembered hearing others she'd met out here out of the pride lands talking about them. It looked funny to her.
Her eyes widened slightly as she saw the Goddess. There was nothing else that could be, she had -wings-. "oh my..."
Sahala didn't believe in gods, or really like them, what was she going to do if the other female got nasty?

She was a little discouraged by their reply. She should have expected it, really, as there were a lot more mortals that didn't like, nor trust gods than those that did. Mana always believed that she got most of her power from the birds, as they depended on her softs breezes to keep them afloat without too much power. Lions didn't have much of a reason to care, unless they were upwind of a tasty meal.
She paused, unsure as how to approach this situation that she had started. The dark one seemed more spooked than the light one. "May I ask how you are today?" Hopefully that would seem clam and neutral enough.

She really didn't why other lions worshiped things like that. Lions with wings just looked wrong and funny and nothing like proper spirits. That was why the Majira was better. They weren't misguided into thinking that the half bird-half lion things were actually responsible for the world continuing. Ah well, their poor souls would just be lost later, pity.
"..." She opened her mouth to reply before being cut off by Moshi, cheeks puffing slightly as she closed her mouth.
"We're doing fine" She smiled trying to keep Sahala from saying something rude. Even if the Gods weren't the -real- gods of the world they could still do nasty things to you if you were mean to them. The last thing she wanted was a curse. "We're making our way back home, to home ... that way." She waved a paw toward the north.

Mana was curious as to why the other one had paused, and then the other one cut her off. Was it something she said? Instead of pressing for the reason, as it might only make things worse, she decided to respectfully now to the darker one.
"Ah, to the north?" She glanced over, curious. "Is it somewhere....cold?" Mana had pulled one of the few rods that she had heard from their conversation earlier. The wind carried broken pieces of conversation to her at times, and it was probably the only significant word she had gotten. Most lions didn't spend time in the cold.

"It's not that cold." She huffed
"I'm not sure." She grinned slightly. "i've never been there before. Sahala is taking me there so i can become one of the Queen." And it -still- sounded funny. From being a nobody in her birth pride to being taken away to become Queen because some spirit guided Sahala to her.
"There are mountains though so i guess it has to snow some times"

Mana's ears perked up, feeling a little bit better. She did her best to not shift too much, as she knew the reason they must be a little wary was because of what she was. She never would have guessed it was because they thought she was a fake.
"Snow...they're snow in the Haven a lot," she mumbled to herself. She didn't always feel cold, but sometimes when the wind picked up off of the cold mountains or the ocean it carried quite a chill with it. "I hope you take care to keep your toes warm, then," she warned with a smile.

"Toes are not the main thing to worry about." her paws never seemed to get cold. Mostly it was her tail and her nose but she kept close to others when it was cold so she didn't have that problem too much. Plus the caverns were warm too.
"I am going to try." She nodded. "I've never been somewhere cold but Sahala says it's nice and it's the warm season currently so i should be alright" Sahala had said that it was perfectly warm in the spring and summer.

The warm spring and summer months...yes, that was true. "And it should not be too bad once it turns to early fall." It was when the crest of fall ended and winter came that she would worry. Well, for herself~ she wasn't one to visit the snow or high mountains often often.
Still, she felt like she could feel the touch of tension in the air. "I'm sure Sahala will guide you well," she replied, nodding to the pale white lioness.

"Of course i will." She huffed slightly. "There is no way i'd get lost heading back home." The spirits wouldn't let her get lost. She was meant to be in the valley and she'd end up back there with her co regent just like they were suppose to be. Thought it would be easier if they didn't get distracted by feather-head lions.
"Thank you." She nodded. "She's been a wonderful guide so far and has taught me a lot about the pride i am going to"

Mana smiled, much more genuinely this time. Perhaps some of the tension she had thought she sensed wasn't really there. Oh, she didn't mind if they didn't respect her as a goddess; she knew mortals too well to assume that much. She would just be happy that they treated her kindly for just being who she was; it wasn't like she chose to be a goddess, she just was.
"Well, I guess I shouldn't keep you," she said, still feeling a little unsure as to how the white one, Sahala, felt about her. "Thank you for speaking with me," she nodded.

"No. We have a lot of walking to do." And she'd be happy to get away from the false spirit, the quicker the better. She didn't want any sort of taint rubbing off on her from talking to one. She would be much happier once they were back home where everything was as it should be.
"Thank you." She smiled before nudging Sahala forward. "I hope you have a pleasant day and after." No sense in being completely rude. One of them had to be nice right? And if Sahala wouldn't do it she would.

Mana watched them leave, still curious. She knew she'd never know, but even if she asked she could easily not get a truthful answer. Mortals like to keep their secrets, just as much as gods did. The one secret Mana never hid was what she was. She had enough secrets to keep that were more important than silly wings.
She continued to relax where she was, waiting for a gust of wind to pull her in a certain direction. Or, perhaps, until nightfall, and she would rest for a time. It was all really up in the air for her.
