Well, as most of you know by now, I'm engaged. Which means I'm getting married. Which means I have a wedding to plan. And part of said wedding planning is finding some pretty awesome songs for some pretty special times.
Really, I need enough music to cover just about the entire affair. Really, the only time that I can think of where there won't be music playing, is during the actual ceremony, and even then, I might have some classical/traditional wedding music playing softly in the background.
I'm going to try very hard to incorporate both of our favorite genres, so I'm looking for mostly Country and Rock (especially Classic Rock) with a little bit of other kinds thrown in here and there where appropriate.
Also, I don't want EVERY song to be a sappy love song. Granted, there will be quite a few on my playlist, but I'd like to have just some good songs that aren't even necessarily love songs.
So, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to suggest songs for my wedding and reception. If you think it would be good for a particular time (e.g. Father daughter dance, first dance, cake cutting, etc.) let me know and I'll add it to that list.
Also, if you could post a link to a youtube video and/or lyrics of the song, I would appreciate it!
I'll keep a list of potential songs in the next post.
