Small gilded dapples painted by the sun upon the creamy mare’s coat glittered as the gentle breeze caused the tree she was beneath to dance to its rhythm. The day was warm and calm, no noise aside from the joyous singing of the birds and the whisper of the foliage in the wind to interrupt the peace. Searlait lay curled beneath the canopy of a lush tree, her eyes closed and her nostrils flared as she took in the scent of newly born nature around her. Winter had made this land barren and gloomy for what seemed to be an eternity but now the grass was beginning to green and the sun shone brightly over the valley. Normally, on a lovely day such as this one, Searlait would be off somewhere running and enjoying the sensation of her muscle s being worked but not today. Today was a day that was too perfect to rush, too magnificent to merely run by without paying it the attention it deserved. Normally Ainn would be right beside her, taking note of the way things changed and what affects their changes had on the world around them but for that reason specifically Searlait had left her behind. It wasn’t that she didn’t enjoy hearing her sister talk of how wonderful life was from a logical standpoint but today was to be different. Today would be a day for Searlait to enjoy peace and quiet, to enjoy the warmth of the sun and the scents of life.
With a grunt, and silent complaints from her body, she pulled herself to her feet and began walking aimlessly out into the valley. She took trips like this often; ones where her route was never planned where she often times found herself becoming temporarily lost. Something about not having a plan made Searlait feel happy and free but lately those sentiments had begun to change. Both of her sisters had found stallions who made them completely happy and carefree. Ainn had met Alex and it seemed her entire outlook had begun to change little by little, she laughed more and smiled to herself quietly which she had never done before. Edana had come across Sam and seemed more playful than ever, using her thievery as a way to flirt. Of the three females Searlait was the one who was most openly playful and carefree; perhaps that was why she had yet to find anyone. With a sigh and a mental kick she pressed such ridiculous matters out of her head. She didn’t need any stallion to complete her or make it so she would smile all the time! She had her friends to make her smile, Wystan was good at it the majority of the time. Even though she once again had avoided sinking herself into a bout of the loneliness blues deep within her heart she knew she craved what her sisters and mother had.
With thoughts of romance blowing away on the breeze Searlait began to wonder where exactly her feet where taking her. They moved fluidly which surprised her because normally by now she would have stumbled over something and caused some sort of physical harm to herself due to her clumsiness. With little interest she scanned her surroundings, attempting to figure out where she had roamed this time. As usual she hadn’t the slightest idea as to where she had gone and with a sharp exhale of breath designed to blow her bangs out of her eyes she stopped and giggled gently.
“Lost again.” She stated with a smile.

Natsume was taking a nap somewhere. He actually doesn't really know where. He was just walking, and the weather was so perfect he wanted to lay down and sleep. He found some trees and shadow near a small water spot.
His father's blood was really running inside his body. Sometimes acting more like a cat than like a stallion. When the weather was nice and warm he wanted to sleep under the sun and when it was raining or stormy he just wanted to hide somewhere, with no energy, like if the cloud were draining it away from him.
He hadn't gone out for a while. His teepee was full of little foals until recently and even if he was not really the big brother type he looked a lot after them. Thinking secretly it would be nice to one day have his own child. But he still need to find the mare with who he will spend the rest of his life.
He has a playboy image, almost pervert side, but when he found the good one, he will do everything he can to protect and cherish her.
Anyway he started to fall asleep when a voice came to his ears. He looked at the direction of the noise and spot the mare. He was surprised by her look. Thinking she was cute. He decided to took this chance.
"Hey young lady, can I help you ?"

A voice from behind caused her ears to flick back and her head to follow soon after. Blinking a few times she observed the stallion that had appeared before her. Unlike others he had what looked to be cloth like the humans wore covering his body. Her father wore metal plates over his chest and upon his legs but never before had she seen anything of this caliber. Haides had a cape adorning his shoulders but that was the extent of his garbs, these were quite outlandish. Tilting her head she stared a moment more taking note that he was not only unusual but also had a charming look about him. Realizing she had been behaving rudely with her prolonged gaze and musings she shook her head and giggled softly. She hoped she had not made him uncomfortable, like Ainn she was the curious types and at times forgot the rules of common courtesy.
“I apologize; I didn’t expect anyone else to be out here.” She stated with a warm smile.
His question was repeated in her mind and she found herself scoping their surroundings. She was talented at wandering far from home and then forgetting where she had allowed her feet to carry her. Mainly she would become lost in thoughts of family and of grand adventures she had experienced as a young foal. Arthur had called her a hopeless dreamer more times than she could count, mocking her because of her lack of survival talent or warrior skills as he would call them. Boy was he just like their father. Her eyes took in the sights of multiple unfamiliar trees and landmarks as she processed her thoughts, just as she had suspected she had become undeniably lost.
“Well, uhm, I seem to have gotten myself lost out here. I remember taking a path up here but I am not quite sure which path that would be.”
Her embarrassment was evident upon her face as she admitted her fault. Now he probably thought she were absolutely helpless or out of her mind. She wouldn’t blame him, she would have probably drawn the same conclusion had some random stranger shown up claiming to have forgotten which way they had traveled from. Her father would have been terribly disappointed had he been anywhere near here, he would have told her to remember the training he worked so hard to drill into her mind. Just another difference from her family to keep on record.

Natsume stood up and went towards the mare. Even closer he could see she was really cute. Her tatoo was nice too. A tribal symbol he would guess. He saw she was staring at him, but it was not the first time. The fact that he wore clothes always attracted the attention of people. He didn't really like to be surrounded by people but he had no real choice.
"Well, I don't exactly know were we are too, but if you really want to go home I can escort you. Who know what kind of creature can be arround."
Then he bowed a little. "By the way my name is Natsume. What is yours ?"

She smiled warmly as the stallion agreed to escort her home, wherever that may be. Her eyes wandered the area as she attempted to remind herself of the path that had first lead her here. She regretted allowing herself to slip so deeply into her own subconscious that she had lost track of her whereabouts. Arthur had always scolded her for such ignorance, saying that it would someday land her in the midst of a mess of trouble. Frustration curved her brows as she looked to her savior. “No matter how I try it seems I will be of no use here.” She stated, the embarrassment showing clearly on her face. “It seems I am utterly lost.”
The thought of the creatures lurking about caused her ears to perk, listening intently for any and all intrusions. “Great,” she thought to herself, “now I am becoming paranoid like my brother and father.” Rolling her eyes at the thought she was brought back to the present by Natsume’s introduction.
“I apologize, I am so scatter brained it seems I have forgotten to introduce myself.” She said with a small laugh. “My name is Searlait, it is a pleasure to meet you Natsume.”

He looked at her while she was trying to figure out the way. She was funny, she remind him his own mother, who always get lost easily. It made him smile. Been a long time since last time He saw his mother.
"Nice to meet you Searlait" he bowed a little his head in greeting. "Well can you tell me where is your house ? I may be able to figure out the way from here".

Where is your house? He had asked so politely and innocently. A small bubble of laughter erupted from her as she hunched her shoulders and looked at the ground. “I live in a clearing.” She responded. She could have kicked herself for being so vague. How many clearings could she imagine being around this place? Hundreds? Thousands? Millions? The thought caused her to shake her head before again meeting his gaze with her own. “This is why I should be more careful while walking. All I know is that there is a small stream that runs just below an old oak that is near to our home.” The uselessness she had begun to feel only began to grow worse. Here Natsume was, kind and eager to help her find her way home and all she could do was to give him some description that probably would do much good in the long run.

"A clearing ?" he was a little lost first, too many clearings arround to know which one. But she looked so helpless, he couldn't give up just for that. "Ok a stream and an old oak." He tried to remember all the place he knew which can match. "I am not sure. For first maybe we can try to find a water spot and follow it. Or figure out where majority of oak are." He was not sure his ideas were the best. Too bad he didn't had any familiar to help.

She could have laughed at herself for being so vague and helpless. Just telling him of a clearing with an old oak tree wouldn’t be enough for them to even get close to finding her home. She closed her eyes and attempted to remember more details about her home. “I am sorry.” She stated, embarrassed. “I wish I could be more descriptive, my father always tries to teach me how to find my way home but it never sticks with me.” A slight blush colored her cheeks. His idea seemed like a logical choice, finding where the oak trees grew would most likely work. Even if it didn’t at least she may be able to get her bearing from walking about. “Thank you for helping me, I am sorry to trouble you like this.”
