If you're tried of waiting for sign-ups for other Mafia games and want something that you're not familar with, then look at nothing more then here. I'm hoping to be able to host one Mafia game at a time here, eventually, when I feel like people have enough skills, I will gradually allow people to start hosting there own Mafia games like this.
Upcoming Game: Giant Entertainment Companies Mafia Sign-Up Thread
How to sign-up: You must confirm with an /in to be guarantee a spot. I will still add you if I notice that you want in, but unless you use that command, you may get missed, so I suggest using the /in command. If you wish to replace, you must use the /in to replace command. Only this time, it is required. However, if the game has already started and you want to serve as an replacement, send me an PM and if the person needs an replacement, I will notify you and give you your role. You'll have forty-eight hours to respond or you will not be /in.
How to Play: I know you people are accustomed to Mafia games like this, but this will be different from normal Mafia games here. So I'll explain how to play.
Day Phase:: Day Phases will be seven days. In the Day Phases, Townie and Mafia members discuss who could be scums.
In order to vote, use the Vote: [Insert User name] command. Votes add a vote onto a person. To unvote, use the Unvote command, which will take away votes from the person you previously voted. To support a No Lynch, do an No Lynch command. No Lynch supports having no lynch for the Day. Having the majority to do this will cause the game to automatically skip into the Night Phase.
Most people start with an Random Voting Stage (RVS) or Random Question Stage (RQS). Random Voting Stage is where you vote people for silly reasons to get reactions out of them. Random Question Stage is where you can gather information based off random questions. Either way, the purpose of both stage are to get an serious discussion started.
The Day Phase ends with an Lynch. A Lynch is made when a majority of the people decide upon a person. Once a majority has been made, there will be no more votes and unvotes made. Then we go into the Twilight Phase. However, there are ways to avoid the Twilight Phase:
1. A No Lynch is made. This is done when a majority agrees to a No Lynch or no one has decided upon a person. No one gets lynched when this happens.
2. A townie or Mafia member gets mod-killed. Mod-kills can happen when rules are broken or if I can't find a replacement for an inactive player within a time limit. If I have to mod-kill a person, I will reveal their role to the public. After doing that, the game automatically goes into the Night Phase.
Twilight Phase: The Twilight Phase will last for twenty-four hours after the deciding vote is placed. Given that one of those exceptions doesn't happen, we go into the Twilight Phase. Here, everyone can talk about anything in here, even the person about to be lynched. After twenty-four hours (Or more depend on when I get to it), the person with the majority vote will get lynched. I will reveal the players role and alignment. Then we enter into the Night Phase.
Night Phase: Night Phase will last forty-eight hours or when I end it. Here, scum will discuss their strategy, and whom to kill. They can chat via PM. If you are scum, send me an PM saying Kill: [Insert User name]. If you do not send me in your night action, it will not go through.
In the next day, I will reveal the victim of the scum plan. They are usually a townie and I will reveal their role. Then we enter another Day Phase.
This continues until either Townie eliminates all threats to town or when Mafia members overrule the Townies.
For later use
How to sign up to mod: Right now, I will not let anyone host a Mafia game like this, since I'm not sure anyone has experiece with a similar kind of Mafia game I'm hosting. However, as I host more games, I will gradually allow more players to host. Then when I feel confident enough, I'll let everyone who meets a certain condition host a Mafia game.
I will make one immediate exception and only one person can get it. If you have experience outside of Gaia Online with Mafia games similar to this (Mafiascum anyone?), show me a link of your completed and modded Mafia game. The one I feel the most confident in will recieve the immediate right to host Mafia games.
To host, first off, you need to send me an PM of your game, It must contain the rules of your game, roles, # of players and replacements (Must have at least one), name of Mafia game, and must give how long the Day, Twlight (optional), and Night Phase is. Note that it is not guaratee that your Mafia game will be approved. If I can find the game to be easily gamebreaking, you do not have the skills to hold it, or I just don't trust you, don't be surprise if I decline your request to host a Mafia game.
If it does get approved, I will ask you to /in to mod. You must use this direct command or I will be ignoring your request. Once you've done all that, you will be put in a waiting list to host Mafia games. Once it's your turn, I will notify you that your game is up and sign-ups for your game goes up immediately. From then, you are on your own. Once your game has started, I will add you to a list of Other Mafia Games that are in progress.
When I start allowing Mafia games of this type to be hosted by other people, you may only host one game until that is completed and three Mafia games will be receiving sign-ups at a time.
First sign-up will be my Mafia games that I'm getting sign-ups for. When I get enough, another person will go up. If I'm planning on hosting another Mafia game, once the person after me complete his or her sign-ups, I will take that spot back.
Second sign-up are small games from seven to twelve players in the game. Anyone can be hosting a Mafia game here.
The final sign-up sheet will be for larger Mafia games. They can be thirteen and up. Like with small, anyone can host a Mafia game here, but they must have modded at least one successful game of this type.
After everyone has signed up: Once everyone has signed up for the game, I will make the thread. There will be rules in the thread, so expect to read all the rules. After doing that, I will send you people your Role PM and you must confirm in the thread. Once everyone has confirmed, the game may begin.
